I finally have mine scheduled for June 6th!
How is scheduling going for everyone else? I hate this waiting part. -.- Also, thinking of trying a different prenatal this time around. I need something I can keep down if this pregnancy is like the last one.
aprilz81, Let us know how betas #3 turns out! Unless you've mentioned it and I'm blind....
Beta #3 results are in at 405!!! Doubling rate between #1 and #2 was 34.53 hours and between #2 and #3 33.95 hours, so everything is looking great so far!
They want me to do another beta on Wednesday. I forgot to ask why but most likely to help pinpoint when to bring me in for my first ultrasound. Numbers are a little on the low side but doubling well so they are likely being overly cautious. If everything continues to double I could probably have my ultrasound on Saturday but they may wait until early next week.
They can see a sac once HCG gets around 1,200, right?
I'm starting to get excited now that we have three good sets of numbers. I was being cautiously optimistic before but now I'm getting pumped.
thelittleredm , I've been on a generic Vitafusion gummy since I went of birth control and I like them (I usually don't like gummy things) and they are way better than swallowing a gigantic prenatal pill.
***Update***
They called back and cancelled the 4th beta and are just going to bring me in for an ultrasound on Friday morning. Yikes!

aprilz81 Those numbers are looking great! I'm excited for you I've been debating getting the gummy ones but had heard in the past that they are less effective or something like that. I don't remember.

No pill is effective if you can't keep it down. lol
My sister used gummies for both of her pregnancies (including a twin pregnancy), so unless you are already deficient in something that you need extra support for then I would say give them a try.
Last time I had to get a prescription for a chewable prenatal and plant-based DHA. I threw up everything else. Ask your doctor! Mine gave me a few samples to try and wrote a prescription for the one that worked best for me.

Yay for a great update aprilz81! Good luck on Friday!
My u/s with my RE is scheduled for 5/24, which will put me just over 8 weeks. Assuming all is well then, he'll release me to my OB. I'm having a really hard time waiting!
eameselephant there's no way you cant wait until July!! I thought having to wait until 5/26 was going to kill me. I have usually had ultrasound appointments closer to 7 weeks because of infertility but I'm ok waiting a little longer this time just so I know there won't be any of the ambiguity of whether or not it's just too early to see things.
thelittleredm, I would also recommend taking your PNV later in the day if you struggle with it. Retrospectively, I think I exacerbated my nausea in the mornings with DS because I took mine when I got up. I only realized this when I started taking them when TTC but shifting to after dinner made all of the difference!
aprilz81, great news, and good luck on Friday.
summergirl1211, I have my u/s the day after you on 5/25. I will be a wreck by then...
eameselephant, July?!? It's definitely be looking elsewhere if they can't see you before you get to 10 weeks or so.
eameselephant, that's nuts about waiting till July. Hope they figure something out for you!
My first appointment is tomorrow and am getting bloodwork done at the RE. I kept going back and forth on going back to the RE vs waiting for my reg obgyn appointment (5/23). Since H and I took a break after the 2 failed IUIs & the RE calls this cycle a spontaneous pregnancy, I wasn't required to go in for monitoring but it is an option. However, with the long struggle, I think I'd feel better going in. I'm pretty nervous about tomorrow and am hoping things go alright.

eameselephant As previous posters have said, that's definitely way too long to wait! WTH are they even offering for? I hate that I have to wait for the beginning of June and I know that's not abnormal, I can't even imagine being told to wait until July. That's just way too late in the game.
flcl, Good luck with the appointment! FX you're able to get some calm in before it.
As for me, I am going to call my doctor's office tomorrow. I'm hoping that the person who left me the voicemail (indicating July) didn't realize that I said in my message that I'm pregnant. Maybe they just thought I was looking for an annual? No way can I wait that long! Plus, aren't dating US the most accurate around 8-9 weeks?
Not everywhere does dating ultrasounds. I never had one with DS (although the ER doc did one for fun when I was stuck there getting 2 bags of IVs because I was so dehydrated). I thought it was weird but since TriCare only covered 2 ultrasounds, they waited to give you your first one at 12 weeks.
But regardless, I hope you're right that they misheard you!
I've yet to book but have plenty of time yet. I plan to ring in a few weeks to set up my booking appointment for 9 weeks. They won't see me before then and I will got straight to midwife.

And good idea with calling back. Maybe they don't you wanted a regular checkup. My place place said they wanted to see me at 8 weeks but idk if that's standard. Good luck!

Mine is the same. They won't schedule until 8-12 weeks.

I was bummed since I didn't have an appointment with the MFM until the 31st, but my endo had me go in last friday, and again this friday to adjust insulin, baby is wreaking havoc already, and my PCP wants me in on the 20th bc I am weaning off anxiety meds. (My last 4 years of work were, hostile, so thankful for the new job) hopefully she will do a test while I'm there. Hopefully work just accepts that I am like the GOT Red Woman, young on the outside, a million years old on the inside, or I may have to spill soon.

LT was purely for the GOT reference, not the medical conditions.
peaseblossom55, did your husband go with you to your ultrasound? I'm making DH because I don't want to go alone and I want him with me when we see our baby (ies) for the first time.

Yes he did and he will. He wants to see the baby too and it's helpful to have someone else remember some of the information. He came with me to every single u/s and OB appointment for Anne.liese, even the quick boring ones.
I have yet to schedule an appt. We just switched insurance providers and I hate picking out a new Dr. I have no idea what they (whichever clinic/hosp) would like to do, so this is exciting. My first "rodeo" with DD was so awesome (great drs and nurses, one of top hospitals in nation) I'm afraid nothing is ever going to stand up to my fantastic experience the first time.

Booked my first appointment with OB for 10:30am on May 23, right in the middle of H's finals weeks so he won't be able to slip away (H teaches High School English). Still waiting for imaging to call and schedule a time for the ultrasound, hopefully they can fit me in sometime after school gets out for the day, otherwise H will just have to be ok with seeing the images on the disc after work. Luckily this is our second so I'm not as nervous about the appointments as I was first time around

I'm honestly surprised at how many doctors are scheduling early ultrasounds! I know some places (RE's especially) do them before releasing patients to their OB but I'm surprised so many OB's are scheduling them early as well.
