They were ok, nothing spectacular. Definitely not worth the calories. We need to get our sugar fix in before Monday!
I was looking at doing a Whole 30 but not sure how to manage it since I don't really like eggs and would really have to force myself to eat a lot of meat. I thought you were a vegetarian? Is there a way to do the Whole 30 without tons of meat and eggs?
Yep, they have a vegetarian shopping list so I'm going to work off of that. I will be eating a ton of eggs though. I'm normally don't eat them often, like as an actually dish, but I'm going to try to make a ton of hard boiled eggs on the weekend and just have them for the week. I'm not excited about the egg overload but I'm hoping I can deal with it for 30 days.
Here is the shopping list I'm using - I hope the link works
ETA it does allow for organic tofu so if you like that, you should be able to use that for protein more often than eggs. I actually make a tofu scramble for brunch that is really good that can be modified to be compliant.
Re: eggs My college boyfriend and I ate breakfast together every day in the dining hall. He always had 5 hard boiled eggs. Let's just say I have first hand experience on what an egg-heavy diet does to your digestive system.

I am eating g Taco Bell. Its almost 130 am and I don't Like Honest Company products. They suck and don't work.
I agree that the honest company cleaning products suck, but I like the diapers.
I could take or leave most of the cleaning products - I use the dish soap and laundry detergent on a regularly, but not much else anymore. I definitely think the bathroom cleaner didn't work as well as it should.
I use the soap/conditioner and toothpaste for V, as well as the diapers which I love. When I was nursing initially I used the nipple balm, but I didn't use any other one to compare it to.

Thanks for that link! Maybe I could do this then. I thought all soy and legumes weren't allowed.

@elvk583 sv917 Thank you. If soy and legumes are in I can totally do that.
kellykinns That's all I've pretty much known with my kids. DH is always gone for work. Do you have a gym membership? I take my kids to the gym kids Klub and walk on the treadmill on 2.5 so I can read my kindle. Like- I'm literally there to read my book uninterrupted & get a break from my kids. Absolutely nothing to do with working out. lol. And they have fun playing. It makes for an extremely cheap babysitter. It's not necessarily the ideal break- but it's something!

I guess that can be my confession as well
I do the same, but I do actually work out.
DH used to travel from Sunday until Friday (before we moved) and it wasn't that bad. We had a better routine when he wasn't home. Mondays were beastly though because that was our reset day.
He's home more in the sense that he doesn't travel, but his hours are all over the place and most days he's only home for an hour or so in the morning. I would have lost my mind long ago were it not for the gym. Mobile babies are exhausting.

I totally drunk posted my confession but I stand by it. Here is the list of totally worthless HC products:
- Insect spray: terrible...I think it actually is like a marinade that makes kids tastier to bugs - Sunscreen: thick and white and impossible to rub in - Diaper cream: anything but GGandLee's Booty Balm™ is worthless to me now. - Dishwasher liquid: DOES NOT CLEAN DISHES - Dishwasher rinse aid: Does not make dishes sparkle..or clean. - Toilet bowl cleaner: I do not believe it's actually disinfecting my toilet bowl. - Stain remover spray: This stuff is a joke.
These are ok, but not great IMO:
- Bath and body soap for babies: Meh - Body Lotion for babies: Meh - Diapers: I know a lot of people like them but I'm not impressed. The tabs come undone on the reg, and I swear we have more blowouts with these. Every.single.time. my kids go to their day program, one of them comes home in an outfit change due to those damn diapers. I don't know if it's because of the tabs, or if they just can't handle the poop. We CD at home though so I may have unrealistic expectations of 'sposies. They are super cute though.
Things I like-
The bubble bath: nice and bubbly, smells nice The wipes: These seem ok, but I don't have much to compare it too since we use cloth wipes as well. But they seem to do the job and the package is cute.
I also don't like how you can't see the total of your order EVER and you don't get notifications before the next shipment. I have more baby marinade bug spray than I will ever use.
I've never had C fitted for shoes. He doesn't have the Stride Rite shoes or any of those. He lives in moccs.
Me neither. Josie has a great shoe collection. I'm eyeing mini Hunter boots for next winter.
I only watch tv if the captions are on.
Exact same. L's shoe collection is insane. Multiple pairs of chuck's, jordan's, uggs, etc…It's getting out of hand. Other than trying the shoes on him at Nordstrom, we never did any Stride Rite sizing. I'm pretty sure I confessed before that I was not a fan of Stride Rites. He's been walking since 10 months with zero problems.
dapostrophe I'm glad you said that about the insect spray. I was planning on trying it this spring but I will look for something else. I would call their customer service and see if they will take it back and at least ship you a product you will use of equal value. I have called them multiple times and they have always done what I needed at no expense besides product cost.
dapostrophe I always get an email telling me my bundle is shipping soon and to make sure everything is up to date. You could always call them and cancel your bundle also.

Thanks, I am probably more bothered by this than I should be because I wanted to like this company so much. They have a great philosophy, but I just don't think you can do it all and do it well.

Did you have to set this up? I couldn't figure out for the life of me where to go on the website to set up alerts. Sadly, I will be canceling once I figure out what I'm going to do next. Most likely it will be some sort of subscribe and save combo on Amazon.

I don't think I did, or at least I don't remember doing it anyways. I just get the diaper bundle now. And yes, that sunscreen is terrible. You have to call them to cancel I believe. You could try emailing them.
We have a butcher that banks with us and all his employees come in to cash their checks. The smell of raw meat makes me vomit.. I'm literally gagging as I'm counting their money to them..
