I woke up extremely happy this morning! DS rocked his first night with no binky! Not one wake up & no whining whatsoever! I'm so proud of him, he is becoming such a big boy!
I had a hilarious S15 related dream last night. I had apparently volunteered to host a get together, thinking people would come by for an afternoon, have some snacks, and visit. Well, you all showed up with your entire families and got really mad at me because you were planning to stay the night and I was totally unprepared to have 300 people at my place.
kbeazly, no meetings for me today either!!!11!!1! I looked at my calendar this morning and nothing. I'm in shock. It probably has something to do with my boss being out of town but I'll take it.
I feel like my chances of actually getting things accomplished and not simply spending my day putting out fires increases exponentially with no clients and no bosses. :-)

That, or the chances of spending more time on TCF significantly increases.
It's so nice to be home after 4 days away. L had a low-key birthday yesterday because his party is on Saturday. I even forgot to give him his present so I'll do that tonight.
Both boys have daycare today. I work from home and DH has the day off to get ready for the party. We haven't been home alone without the boys since Spencer was born. I think some middle of the day sex is in order.
Croup again + infected eyes. I've been up since 2:30 rocking a sad baby on my chest. She finally slept after 5.
Oh yes, and the eye ointment copay was $50!! it's half my pinky size! Maybe it's worth it because she was gunk free this morning instead of looking like a barn kitten.
WTF autocorrect, you totally changed things in the send process!
I'm away for a quick overnight work trip. It's so much less anxiety-ridden than my first trip last month. I guess it's easier to leave the kids once it's been done and everyone survived.
Also TMI warning ...
I got my first post baby period on Sunday. Apparently barely having a period for the last 3.5 years makes me inept. After doing my business I could not for the life of me remember if I took out the tampon before putting in a new one. Adulting is hard today.
At least I get a quiet, uninterrupted night of sleep in a hotel by myself tonight.
Thank you to anyone who commented on my post on fb yesterday re: Dani's random spots. They were still there this morning, but no new ones. They're still bright red, and flat, like she was poked with a marker. So strange.

txshep, I hope that you are able to figure out what's causing the spots. I looked at the picture and I feel like Callie has had similar looking ones but they went away within the day. I hope they go away soon.

I think I have one similar one like that. It's been there for years and doesn't hurt or itch. Very strange.

I haven't had much time to pop in here lately because work has been really busy, but just wanted to say hi. Henry turned 8 months yesterday and he's teething like a mofo. Drool everywhere and constantly trying to eat my face.
Me (37) + DH (39) BFP #1: DS born July 2011 BFPs #2,3,4,5: Four losses from Nov 2013-Nov 2014. Yeah, that sucked. BFP #6: 1/5/15 - Rainbow baby boy born 9/16/15

I have those kind of spots too! They're bright red, and just... there. I got a bunch when I was pregnant. Dani's spots definitely look like those, but I don't think they're the same thing. The ones I have are from age/blood vessels. I'm thinking hers are some sort of rash or irritation from drool. She has been a faucet the past few days, and the spots are in areas that I just can't manage to keep dry.
Had a terrifying experience this morning. I put Z down on the floor to run upstairs to grab something. He must have twisted to try to watch me because I heard a thunk as I got to the top of the stairs. And screams started so I ran down to pick him up. As I was snuggling him he wasn't calming down so I looked at his face to see where he bumped his head and his mouth and lips were covered in blood. Commence freak out. He was still crying and I was trying to identify the source of the blood. After he calmed down and I wiped a bit away I could see that he must have bitten his top gums with his bottom teeth. His gums have been swollen already since the teeth are getting close. Poor guy. That was almost 3 hours ago and my heart is still racing. My first pump is definitely suffering since I'm all stressed.
And I started my period today. And my ILs are watching Z since my parents are still on vacation.

I read Callie the "This Little Piggy book" last night and every time I said "wee wee wee all the way home" she would crack up. I would also have to simultaneously bounce up and down while I said this haha. I need to video tape ourselves for just one day for the things we do to make our child laugh lol
I just got some really sad news a former customer of mine has just suddenly past away. She was right around my age. She leaves behind her husband, her triplet boys and a daughter I believe all the kids are under the age of 5. I guess she told her H that she had a headache and went to lay down on the couch. He walked to the store around the corner to get some milk & Advil. When he got home a few minutes later the kids were in the driveway crying that they couldn't wake mommy up. I guess she was already blue when he got to her and call 911.
It so sad they were such a great couple. She was such a sweet person & my heart really goes out to her family. Her husband must be devastated.
I'm in shock. Hug your loved ones cause life is short. Every day is a gift.

Hugs mrsb1008 that's scary! obie1680 that sorry made my heart stop. That is just so upsetting. Do they know the cause? I just can't shake the thought that something so unexpected could happen to H or I at any time. That poor family. I'm giving everyone extra hugs tonight.

No further details on what it might have been the cause it just happened a day ago. I had all my former co-workers texting me about it since their next door neighbor was also a friend of ours. It's just so sad.
I got the juices from Trader Joes - Green, Yellow, Red. I'm sorry but green juice just never gets better to me. I have to chug it.
I don't even know what to say about sleep the last week. I commented on Facebook this morning when I was out of my mind. I don't know if H and I got 2 hours last night. Each night is getting worse. But it's not just the baby. The 4 year old is starting with the afraid of the dark and scary bees chasing him dreams. So he is up screaming, which wakes the baby. The baby is like oh hey, I like partying in the dark, and screaming. Screaming so loud that she wakes the dead. It's awful. And honestly I can't think of anything to do but wait it out.

My sister took J to school so I'm home with just the baby. It's weird! I was able to redo our room to make it more functional, and wash and dry/straighten my hair while he had a nap. When my dad gets back from taking the big kids to school I'm running to Walmart for some supplies since the baby has another cold. Other than that my plan is to chill and watch tv until my kiddo gets home.
obie1680, that is so sad. Sounds like an aneurysm to me. A classmate of mine lost her brother the exact same way. He complained about a headache ... and then he was gone.

You wouldn't be prepared?!?! Get your poop in a group, London!
