Had a great visit with the pediatric GI, feel so much better about the no milk or soy. I still get to BF so that is a big weight lifted and the diet for me is not too hard to do.
My mil got a stomache bug on the 27th and father in law on the 28th my mom left on the first so honestly it was fine that mil wanted to be on the safe side and not come around to see kids...but now it's the 7th...and she still hasn't come by to see kids or check on me or help out at all...and I'm pissed. She knows her son works shitty hours and that I had major surgery two weeks ago but she doesn't text to ask how I am or if she can help out?! My mom lives four hours away, she lives ten minutes, apparently she texted dh last night and said she was coming by...he felt bad bc we had plans and told her we wouldn't be home. I was like why would you feel bad the woman hasn't checked in on us for weeks, he tried to say she was really sick, yea two weeks ago, and she couldn't just check in to see how I am...he told me to call her tonight for help, I told him I'm honestly over it, we always are doing everything for his family and if she can't check in on me and the kids I am certainly not reaching out to her...maybe I sound ridiculous but I'm annoyed and i don't like asking for help and I have trouble even accepting it when people offer but this is my husbands mother....she should be around to help out and I think it's bullshit
Oh and my damn incision is killing me lately...I stopped taking the Percocet like the week of the surgery but had to start taking it again yesterday bc the pain is almost unbearable...I'm guessing it's bc I've been lifting my dd who is like 30 Lbs but I don't have much of an option bc like I said...I have no damn help!!!!
Sorry you are in pain and having problems with you MIL. I feel you about lifting the toddler when you aren't supposed to. When I was on bed rest and DH was at work, who else is going to get them to bed and such without you picking them up! Hopefully she steps up without you having to say anything.

My in laws clogged the toilet today. Instead of going to the bathroom to take a shower in the 30 minutes before the appraiser and the furniture delivery men came, I spent that 30 minutes plunging, sanitizing, and mopping. Not my idea of a fun Saturday morning. Not to mention the rough night I had last night with Max peeing on me, spitting up on me twice (once was right in the cleavage), and feeding every hour. And then while I was cleaning, Max started crying so MIL brought him to me so I could calm him down. Um, no. I'm already cleaning up a huge mess. You can change a diaper.
Went to lunch with some friends today. It was LO first outing and she did fine. I pumped (1st time! ) right before we left for the restaurant in case she got hungry. Also her first time taking a bottle. Near the end of our meal, it seemed like she wanted to fall asleep, but didn't. We just figured she was so tired, she was fussy. Nope. Completely pooped through her diaper. No wonder she was so uncomfortable. Lesson learned for next time. Hubby just got home from his hockey game. They won! I miss watching him play, rooting for his team, and yelling at the refs from the stands about a BS call. I can't wait for baby to be a little older and take her to games.
What's with people assuming that at six days post partum I want to visit them and walk to a restaurant. I can't even friggin sit without a tear coming to my eyes. If people want to see the baby they come to me, nuff said!
My 3 year old told me "Supper isn't good for me" so I asked her what is good for her to which she replied "worms"
I mean if she meant gummy worms, I totally agree. If she meant earth worms, I'd let her test that one out. Your grocery bill would go down and she'd get lots of protein or you'd get less sass! (Yes I would the dictator eat worms, it's gonna happen eventually)
There's a post on the dump that would be some pretty good mud if things were normal over there. About her 1 month old baby with a fever
I have no clue who most of the posters there are now. I don't know if they are new or lurkers who now feel comfortable that all the regs left. I check it every so often for shits and giggles, but it's so so dead.
What's with the one birth announcement that lists the parents names and ages??

That's up in the air as to what she meant. I love gummy worms and hopefully that's what she meant, but truthfully Id let her eat real worms too. Although I think she did that at 10 months and didn't like it. They got to learn somehow!
