I thought I would introduce myself here.
I am Twinkie and my daughter Amelia was born 5/9 at 27+4. She weighed 1lb 12oz and was 13.5 inches long. I am still adjusting to life with a baby in the NICU.
So far she has been doing wonderfully in the NICU. She was only on the breathing tube for a few hours (She pulled out her breathing tube and wasn't re-intubated since she was breathing on her own). We did have our first setback a few days ago when she developed an infection that turned out to be MRSA.

Welcome and congrats on your sweet baby girl! I hope she continues to improve. She will amaze you with her strength! Try to hang in there. Being a preemie mom is tough but the rewards are endless!
Congrats on your new baby! Hope she's recovered from the MRSA infection.
It can be very traumatic to have complications followed by a NICU stay. I was also resentful for awhile at how difficult everything related to pregnancy ended up being for me.
