I thought about doing this thread a week ago but forgot! We are really into The Pout Pout Fish. J can recite it from memory because L makes me read it so much.

DD1 is still obsessed with "The Three Little Kittens". The girls love the "meow meow meow" and "pur pur pur" parts.
DD2 is recently obsessed with "Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed". She yells, 'NO MORE MONKEYS JUMPING ON THE BED!" When we get to that part each time lol, she then grins maniacally.

So many books. But lately he's been liking a book that has several of the Biscuit stories in it. He'll say "Bis" and bring the book over. Here's a pic of one of the stories.
I just got Liam the "That's not my Dinosaur" from a book party. Cannot wait to get it!
We have the That's Not My Tractor and the Monkey book. I have a friend that sells Usborne Books and DS really loved the Tractor one because the textures are unique.
For the future or for anyone with older kids, I want to recommend The Book with No Pictures by BJ Novak. We got it from the library and DS1 was hysterical laughing over it. There might be some 2 year olds that like it, too, because it has funny noises but no pretty pictures to look at.

What age group would you say? I need to get a present for a 4 year old girl.

4 would be a good age for it! The librarian said her grandkids who are 3 and 5 loved it, too. I think it's probably best appreciated by kids 7 and under because it's just a lot of silly sounds and stuff.

I've heard really good things about this book. May need to add it to DS's birthday wish list.
