Technically not MOTN but I was asleep for 15 glorious minutes before C decided to wake up. I've been holding her/rocking/walking for 1.5 hours now. She refuses to be put down. I'm so damn tired. And I slammed the door as I left our room because H hasn't gotten up once to offer help and I'm a child.

I know it does not stand for Fun... I'm pretty sure Oliver is having his first cold, I'm blaming it on the crazy amount of sweat the helmet creates and the AC hitting him whenever we take off the helmet. Poor baby
I'm so sorry you ladies are miserable too, but I'm glad it's not just me. LO has been a beast to get to bed and after about 1am he ends up in our bed and attached to me. I just need some personal space!
Such an awful night. She finally went back to sleep at midnight, woke up at 3:45 to eat, 4:50 to "eat" and then up for the day at 5:50. There's no way any of us got enough sleep.
It is comforting to know my baby isn't broken, I suppose. He sleeps in the bed with us most of the night, but lately it isn't good enough. He wants to be cradled and cries whenever he is put down. This is hourly, of course.
I can't open up my phone MOTN because DD is obsessed with it. Already!
OMG I know! She'll be laying quietly on my chest and I'll get my phone and she pops right up and tries to grab it.
That and the remote. And now if he sees them and we "hide" them, he freaks out. Things were so much easier when we could hide things and he'd forget about them.

Can I go here? We are in the middle of jet lag hell. Last night went okay, took a nap 8-9:30 then fell asleep at 11pm for the night. He was restless until about 2am but he slept with us and then we all slept until 7ish this morning. I thought we'd gotten through the worst. Today he napped well but not too much, went to 'bed' at 8 and slept restlessly (read: on us) until 11 and now I'm sitting here while he happily climbs around the bed. I hope he goes back to sleep soooooon because I need some rest too!
Our nights have been consisting of going to sleep in crib, screaming 2 hours later and then putting in swing, then up again in 2 hours to nurse, 4 hours to nurse again, and then up for the day 2 hours later. Not as bad as some of your nights, but it seems like EVERYONE IRL claims to have their baby sleeping through the night at 2-4 months. I don't even mind the two wake ups, I would just like to be in the crib so I can feel like I have a "normal" baby.
I always equate how well he is sleeping with how good of a mother I am. I have no idea why, and he has slept through the night once so that goes to show how often I feel like I am handling motherhood!
hovenb - I feel ya. It seems like any time I talk to anyone IRL about C's sleep, I end up feeling like something is wrong with me...or her. We only have a few friends that have small children but all of their kids were STTN by now.
FFSC: I've been stalking the BMB of babies that are a few months older than ours in a desperate attempt to find evidence that this will get better, that there will be an end to the sleep deprivation. Because, you know, their sleep habits will totally be how C's will turn out, right? Right?!

And?!!!?!?! I must know what the verdict is.
So far, not real promising. Lots of teething-related crappy sleep. In some ways, similar to our board - some babies seem to have few issues, others having a lot of trouble. I'll sleep when I'm dead, right?!
I'm sorry we are all in this no-sleep club together. Emily throws in a random night of sttn to give us false hope. Then every night after that she wakes up anytime between 1-3am and takes over an hour to get back to sleep.
This morning she was up at 6:15 which is way early for her. I saw her on the monitor sitting up and looking around. She had her paci and wasn't really making any noise yet. I must have fallen back asleep. When I woke up about 30 min later and looked over at the monitor and saw her slumped over. She fell asleep sitting up! Freaked me out. I brought her into bed with me and we all slept til 8:30 so that was awesome!

Don't connect those! You're doing fine! I didn't even set the crib up for my last two babies because it didn't work great for us. We co-sleep a bit & I think it's so much easier to put the crib mattress on the floor rather than lower them in the crib without waking. So do what works & don't worry about "normal!" And people lie about their kids' sleep to feel good about themselves! Not everyone but plenty do so take it with a grain of salt! :-)

That is crazy!! My mind doesn't comprehend babies who fall asleep sitting up or playing on the floor. That has never happened to us and I don't think it ever will.

That is true...I just wish they made bigger swings. His legs are hanging off of it and the motor won't really swing his 20 lbs body as much! In your siggy, it says baby boy #4 on the way...is that old? I remember you posting awhile back but couldn't remember your story!

Emily has NEVER done this. She is so not a baby who falls asleep playing. I was just showing H a pic of one of our S15 babies pics on Instagram that had either fallen asleep in a highchair or jumper and we both agreed Emily would never do that lol. That's why I was so freaked out to find her asleep sitting up! That would be so uncomfortable. Babies are weird.
I have a feeling I'm going to go here tonight. Z's congestion has led to a cough that keeps waking him up. He slept great the first few hours, but since he woke at 10, hrs been coughing a lot more not even 2 hours later and we're up again.
C teased me 1.5 weeks ago and was sleeping like a champ with only one wake up. Then he went back to DC, our nap schedule changed, and it all went to shit. Him coming down with something Thirsday night didn't help. Then he had his second tooth cut Saturday night. Last night he was in pain but I don't know why. Gave Tylenol and he slept well after that. Right now I'm pumping before work and instead of being asleep again he is reaching out of his crib trying to grab the Shout spray hanging from his hamper. The biggest thing that makes me feel like crap is right now (at 6am) he is wide awake. About 5 minutes before we get to DC he will pass out again. Then he wakes up walking into DC. I feel like a bad mom for waking him. Oh! And he officially (as of this moment) can pull up in the crib.
I guess I'll be hanging out here again. 90 minutes after bedtime and we're on wake up #2. Teething...she's coughing here and there so I think that's teething related. These 2 teeth are so slow! Our pattern the last week or so has been 4-6 wake ups. Every night. Yawn. It's going to be a long week...
My children either really love me or really hate me. I'm going to assume it's love. The baby will sleep great if we bedshare. Alone in his crib? Nope. Eventually he can snuggle with his brother, right? That sounds like it'll be great and not lead to non-stop shenanigans. No problem.
This is us. In his crib till the first wake up (where he genuinely needs to gulp down 4 oz), then will conk out for the rest of the night if we keep him in our bed. The crib? Not so much. (Nor the PNP, too big for the swing, etc).
