MIL has been our DCP Wednesdays & Thursdays (she stays with us since she is 3 hrs away). I really relied on her so I could cook/clean. Well her father has taken ill and so she has to take care of him and her mother now. So she is no longer our DCP. This means no time to cook/clean without C underfoot so I guess we are going to be doing quick and easy for these last few weeks of school (It doesn't help that C JUST dropped his late afternoon nap on DC days).
So the plan for this week is Mexican lasagna & balsamic chicken. I can make a large amount and H will have to deal with it being repetitive.
MH is so picky, he won't eat leftovers. Maybe once if I absolutely press and only certain meals.
I don't know why, but this makes me ragey (not at YH, just in general). Both SMIL and MIL won't eat leftovers and I find it so weird! Not to mention a waste.
I am very thankful that H will eat anything, warm, cold, fresh or leftover - he doesn't care.

I lucked out. My neighbor called in a panic last night because she was catering a party and her oven died in the middle of cooking. She asked if she could come cook pot roast in our oven and I said sure. As a thank you she left us an entire roast with potatoes for ourselves. That will last us at least 3 days. For the other days:
