LadyNymeria omg I had no idea they were doing this! ahhhh! Re: the glucose test, I'm glad the drink wasn't that bad. Last time my other ob let me eat a pancake breakfast with oj but this one won't let me so I'll have to take it this time.

After fighting with my laptop's WiFi all night and all morning I found a link that talks about some tiny little WiFi switch on my brand and model laptop. Somehow, no idea how, but somehow, it got flipped yesterday and that's been my problem this whole time!!
It's a button you can only really see with a flashlight and the laptop on it's side. So stupid!! At least my WiFi is working again now.

This used to happen to me all the time with my old work laptop. I put some tape over it.
The glucose drink wasn't too bad. Just tasted like flat, over sugary orange soda. My dr office keeps it refrigerated which I've heard makes it easier to get down. This waiting an hour thing sucks though since my check-up in between only took 10 minutes.
Ugh, I go for mine at my next appointment (in about 2 weeks). Not looking forward to it (had to do it twice last pregnancy, first around 13 weeks and I was able to not throw up until 10 minutes after they drew blood).
Hanging out today, had a headache most of the day. I think I was dehydrated (I'm assuming since I didn't wake up to pee last night). After 2 cups of coffee (half caff, so like 1 cup) and 12 cups of water, and 2 tylenol, I'm feeling ok now lol. Tonight I'll be crocheting with some of the ladies at my church.
Then Wednesday DS is done with school (yay! This year has been awful, 7th grade sucks) and I'm gunna take him out for ice cream. And... then I get to (hopefully) sleep in on Thursday lol.

Just made and ate ghiradelli's brownies...I've been craving them for a week. So yum with a cold glass of milk. My h is laughing at me for my late night brownie eating.
Wow I realize my EDD is mid september and quite a few of you are due early Sept. That said, my OB doesn't do glucose til 28w? Did some of yours do it before this?

My MW gave me the requisition and told me to do it between weeks 24 and 28. I have to go to a lab. It's not something that is done in doctors' offices here.
Have you guys seen the trailer for the live action Beauty and the Beast? I'm so excited!!! When the piano music starts up it seriously gave me the chills.
I am so freaking excited for this!! Beauty and the Beast is one of my favorite Disney movies and I love Emma Watson

My dr office generally does the test between 26-28 weeks. My appointment was yesterday and I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow so we did the test yesterday because at my next appointment I'll be 29 weeks and I think they just prefer to do it a little early instead of a little late compared to their average window.
It's just how my appointments ended up falling compared to my # of weeks.

Hope everyone had a good day!
That's the kind I've been getting, triple chocolate for life!
Oh ok. I was hoping that's what was wrong with ours too. Glad you figured it out!
Are you having the same problem? A lot of laptops have some sort of switch on them so don't ignore it as an option just because you have a different brand. My work laptop is an HP and it has a button at the top right of the keyboard instead of a switch, but it does the same thing as the physical switch on my Lenovo.
If you want to explain what's wrong with yours I could let you know if I came across any suggested solutions researching how to fix mine.

Oh thanks! It's similar to your problem. A couple years ago, at our old apt, it stopped connecting to the wifi. It wouldn't even give an option to look for one. We took it to a tech person and he replaced the wifi card (I think?) and it worked for a little bit after that. Then it started doing the same thing. I hoped it'd go back to working after we moved and it still does it. It'll connect for a few seconds and then go away. We have to hook it up to the modem if we want internet. The weird thing is, when it was first happening I took it to work and it connected there. I thought maybe it was our modem, bc the old one was really old, but at our new place it's a brand new modem. Sorry that was so long!

It sounds like you could possibly be having a similar issue. I would Google your model HP and wifi switch and see where the switch is located. If it's a button or a switch that could be hit accidentally that could be the problem.
If that's not it, I unfortunately won't be much help. But I'd definitely start by looking into whether or not you or other users could be accidentally hitting the button or switch.
