Busy day up in here. Went to S's school picnic, to the store to exchange some things and ended up buying stuff, came back and hung out at our place for a few minutes, then went out to another town so my BFF could pick something from kijiji up. Now we're waiting for a bit until my mom gets here. M's having a bottle and seems to be falling asleep, and S is playing in his room.

I packed up all my maternity clothes a month ago. I never did own maternity leggings or comfy pants.
We had another recheck at the dermatologist. We were back in the exam room waiting when he straight up just vomited all over himself and me. I was prepared for spit up. Not the fountain of vomit that just kept coming out.
As I'm attempting to clean up myself, the floor, and him I hear a "sploosh" sound come from the diaper area. He basically had diarrhea which came out the side. Thankfully he was already undressed from the vomit situation because I only had one extra outfit with me.

You guys this sounds like a crazy day. I've read but I haven't kept up to reply. I'm trying to pack so can head out of town tomorrow. I'll be Mia for a week or so but then I'll be back Why is it that all the responsibility to pack and prepare for leaving falls on me?? In not sure the last time Dh packed a suitcase and I'm sure the dog would starve if I didn't arrange a sitter and leave notes.
You guise! Even though the chances of me being PG are super low it still freaks me out. I'm planning to test next week with my left-over cheapies so I can stop thinking about it. I'll take my cycle back pls. I don't feel like my marriage is strong enough for us to abstain for an unknown length of time or for a surprise pregnancy. I don't feel like I have it in me to navigate BC. I am so confused with this whole situation.

I hope you're going somewhere fun and relaxing!
I think we've had this conversation on here before, but you pack your H's suitcase? Seriously? I can't imagine ever doing that. Not to mention my H would be so weirded out and annoyed if I did.

We share a carry on size suitcase. The girls all share a carry on size suit case. I pack light.

NellieOleson - back when Old Navy had those creepy mannequin commercials, they had a whole "town gown" commercial. They are basically long summery dresses with no cinching at the waist. At least, according to the mannequins. And major AW to your two-year old falling asleep in your arms!! Love it!
icequeen - if I found decent wine for only $5, I would leap rejoicing through the streets. I really hope that's what you did.

Pretty much. Others did not share in my elation but I knew y'all would.
