I'm having the best combination of lazy & productive day. Slept in, took a long bath and read a book, cleaned the bathroom, and now I'm sitting down to a big bowl of chili and The Bachelor. Loving this Saturday!
Oh the hiccups! I forgot about that, last pregnancy i would get woken up by baby hiccuping. I can't wait for that feeling again my little isn't super active so far.
Saturday ransoms for me... I was sleeping in dreaming about chips and hockey and my SO comes to wake me up, thanks! He better be making coffee & breakfast
Might do a little shopping but I'm planning on being super lazy after a busy work week. Sons & anarchy on Netflix & geeking on my phone are my plans.
I spent two hours this morning complaining about cleaning the house, which is exactly how long it ended up taking me to actually do it. I am reading and reclining now, seems like a good time for a nap. I had my first diet coke of the week this morning and the baby went crazy! I told my husband she is a DC addict in training and he was like "SHE BETTER NOT!“ lol.
Hi! H felt baby sooo good last night, it was just giving boots and rolls like I haven't had yet with this one! Awesome!
Otherwise a pretty quiet day here. We are borrowing my ILs truck for the next couple weeks while they are away on vacation so we are probably going to order in a twin bed for DS while we have a vehicle easily accessible to transport it. Crazy. He's not supposed to be grown up yet!! (Though we won't be moving him into it for awhile, that just seems scary lol!)
I actually had a very productive Saturday! I ran errands all morning and then went to the mall with my mom to look at diaper bags. I finally decided on a bag, but I'm going to wait to buy it. We ended up going to Macy's, which was having an awesome sale, and bought a ton of clothes for the baby. I'm talking $45 outfits reduced down to $5!!!
I'm finally home and I feel exhausted so I'll probably be taking a nice long nap soon...
I'm trying to decide if I should be productive or lazy. DH is off for a day with his best friend and was supposed to do a shopping run first, but I think he forgot, which means I need to do it (don't want to do it). I have a good book, knitting, and trash tv, but the house should be cleaned to. I hate being an adult sometimes (sigh - going to clean house then veg)

Got up early today and went shopping with a friend for fabric to make items for the nursery. Going on a bike ride with DH after lunch. Just doing everything but what I really need to be doing (cleaning my house). Maybe I'll get it done tomorrow. Hah!
I've been out of town for two days for work. Last night DH told me he'd be here when I got home about 10 am and we'd spend some time together. I got home and he was gone. Called him and he decided to go out with his buddies to play frisbee golf because the weather is so nice. but, hey, he'll be home by 4 pm so that he has time to get ready for work at 5 and he'll see me then... between showering, getting dressed, and rushing to eat something before he leaves again. My feelings are really hurt. Andplusalso he has the package with our nursery art that came yesterday in his car so I can't open it like I was looking forward to.

It's been a chill day which is great considering the little monster kept me up late kicking me. DH booked me a prenatal massage and it was heavenly. I feel so relaxed and calm right now. I may go to ikea after DD is up from a nap and pick up some more things for her room, the nursery and the playroom.

Love having productive Saturdays! I got groceries, worked in my classroom, cleaned the our master bedroom and bathroom, got a huge start on the laundry and already got tons of homework done.

This is awesome! I got an email that all the stuff I got from that carters sale shipped! I spent $45 and got a TON of stuff- 2 7 packs of onesies, long sleeve onesies and some outfits. So excited for them to get here!
I'm having a somewhat lazy day. Hung out w DS this morning. Then we all took our 2 dogs on a walk. I'm pretty proud of myself for pushing DS in the heavy bob stroller up the f*ing crazy steep hill outside our house while pregnant. I was panting by the time I got to the top. We live in a hillside community w lots of steep roads.
This afternoon DH and I are going to visit our friends that just had a baby girl. She is 1 month old now and I'm so excited to meet her!

It's been a busy morning! We were up at 6am with the kid, as usual, but because of the party we used the time. I sent DH out for doughnuts and then he vacuumed and cleaned the bathrooms while I made bread, fritatta and scooped melon.
The kids showed up around 10 and had an amazing time. They glittered, glued, stickered and Valentine'd themselves out. Then chased each other around the house and destroyed my son's room. Ate cookies and doughnuts. Then took the party outside where they made use of skateboards, trikes, scooters, and rollerskates. This helped them work up quite the appetite, so then they sat down for some lunch. Then ran around playing some more. Cleared out around 1pm when we put the little guy down for a nap. Just finished cleaning up.
The good news is, we have no plans for the rest of the weekend! And a shitton of doughnuts, bread, and cookies.

Sounds like a very successful party! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!
I'm so jealous of all you productive mamas. DH finished painting the nursery while I slept in this morning. Then he took me to a movie and lunch. And now I'm getting a mani/pedi. Life is hard.
We took our son to a friend's birthday party at one of those trampoline places. It was so loud and overstimulating and filled with unsupervised children. I am so glad to be home, even though we have an overtired almost 5-year old on our hands.
DH got back earlier than I expected and took me to lunch. I realized half way through that I had forgotten to change out of my slippers. Andplusalso I just realized my shirt was on backwards. And they let me practice law?!!?
I wish I could have slept all day. I got up at 8 cleaned the floors. Then we registered and went grocery shopping. My feet are killing me. I could go for a whole body massage.

Mine shipped too! Those 7 packs of onesies were too good to resist!
DH and I are waiting for a table at the Olive Garden and we were talking about our LO. I've had terrible heartburn all day and I told him I hope it isn't for nothing and that this baby is born with a lot of hair. He laughed and called me a snowflake!!
eta DH started playing a game on his phone so I came to share that random bit of info with you guys.

I said the same thing when I was pregnant with DS. I had such horrible heartburn I said, "This baby better come out looking like a monkey with all this heartburn!"...Sure enough he had a head full of hair & "peach fuzz" everywhere lol
