What is it with kids getting sick only before holiday weekends? DD went to bed at 9:30 last night, woke up at 10:30 crying, wouldn't stop hysterically crying saying her ear and throat hurt until 12 midnight when she passed out on top of me. Now she woke up at 6am saying she's fine and I shouldn't take her to the doctor today. She may act fine now but I can't do this again and since it's a holiday weekend we would have to go to the ER for what is probably a raging ear infection. I need a nap so bad but it's my college reunion today (if we even get to go now).
I guess I should be happy that H knows he's useless around the house. But there is plenty he can do that he keeps wanting to hire out. Dude, no, we aren't hiring someone to mow the lawn when you are just being lazy.
We are the opposite. H does not have time to mow the lawn, I would much rather pay someone to do it then him spend family time mowing the lawn. He refuses to pay someone else as if it's like an affront to his manhood or something. Get over it dudes!

We have a small yard so it takes an hour tops to mow, and I usually have him do it when I'm feeding/bathing/putting the kids to bed. That way when he's done we can both relax.

I'm super cheap but it was 79 and muggy in the house at 9:00 am. Fans weren't doing anything so the AC is officially ON! My hot blooded husband will be so happy. He's ready for winter as soon as it's warmer than 65.
What sort of carrier was it glaze? Any feature or function you remember?
It was a wrap type one but easier to put on I think? I don't really remember much about it. I have an ergo but I wanted to get one for the newborn/infant stage and I remember liking the one she recommended but there's so many of them I can't figure out what one it was!
So the neighbor has been having non-stop showings all day. I had no idea they were selling their house, but I'll give them a pass for mowing before 7am this time.
We got someone to come out tomorrow to look at the AC. As for tonight, DS and I are staying with my parents. Thank goodness!
I woke up in the middle of the night weirdly panicky that baby wasn't moving. Which, duh, I was asleep so how would I know if he was. It was totally irrational but I poked and prodded him until he started kicking back. Lol I'm sure he was thrilled with me. I hope I don't get this anxious all the time now!

Same thing happened at our house except it was DH that was worried.
I am at a ball field (DH has a tournament) and it is hot as balls out. The bonus is there is a rugby game happening on the pitch beside us and a Dairy Queen across the street. I'm getting my flip flop tan on because I have no shorts lol
Just realized DH is seeing what all I do while cleaning even just our room. Especially since he has to do the heavy lifting. I took a break while he vacuumed and cleaned the carpet. Now he is washing a litter box.
It will be interesting to see what he says at the end of the day after we finish cleaning and rearranging for baby. lol
It was the ktan breeze or ktan active for the summer!!! And I'm being creepy and stalky and extremely busy but I'm here.
Thank you! Did you find the size chart for them was pretty accurate?
Yes. I typically wear an XS if I want something fitted and a small if I'm going regular/relaxed fit. So I went with the small, and I think it's a good fit especially now that K is bigger and I throw her on my hip.

It's hot as balls here (30 degrees- so like 86 Fahrenheit) and I'm dying. We have no AC because we only need it like five days out of the year. Went to the mall and bought a cheap pair of Old Navy running shorts and I'm going to rock them along with the barefoot and pregnant thing until this bébé arrives!

I spent the afternoon in the pool and my hips loved it. The kids wore themselves out swimming like crazy. If it wasn't for contractions it would have been perfect. We'll probably go again tomorrow.
I just realized these girls will be here in about 2 1/2 weeks!

This is our plan for this morning! My parents have a nice pool, and I plan on lounging in it until the AC is fixed in our house.
I didn't sleep well last night because DS is a terrible bed sharer. A nap will be had later

When I was working nights H let DS sleep in our bed and it has been awful. He goes sideways, lays practically on top of me, squishes my belly and boobs, etc. I said no more and he is sleeping in his own bed from now on, no excuses, because I can't handle that post partum with a c section scar. Last night was rough, but I was consistent and made him go back to bed every time he got up.
