My grandmother knits various things for her church bazaar. She usually does kids sweaters and hats or doll outfits and then some other odds and ends. She found a pattern for the loveys pictured and has no idea how to price them. How much would you pay for one of these hand knit loveys?
That's what my mom and I were thinking, but I told her I'd put it to my mommy friends to see what they'd be willing to pay for something like that. My grandmother is notorious for underselling her stuff.
Also, she could adjust the price in $2.00 increments either way. Add a ribbon necktie and real button eyes and now it's $22.00. She could have 3 different price levels to attract everyone. Maybe make small and large sizes as well.
emilillies those are good ideas. She hasn't tried to make one yet, just has the pattern with the intention of making some, so I'll suggest those ideas to her.
