lovetruly2015 if you're eating when you're hungry and choosing healthy options (or, at least just not eating donuts and fries all day) I think your baby will be fine. If I remember right, they will get what they need first and you'll be the one not getting the nutrients if you're not eating enough. So if you feel good I think that means your baby is good too.
And, I'm not knocking donuts and fries lol. Last pregnancy I had grilled cheese and fries every day for lunch during first and part of second trimester because it was all I could keep down. And baby was plenty healthy.

theophania it's time to go get a pedicure! I only seem to get them when I'm pregnant because I can't justify the expense otherwise. I went 2 weeks ago and they had the massage chairs and it felt so good. But when it did the massage on my lower back my belly jiggled a ton, it was funny, my mom laughed at me (so glad I'm not too self conscious about it).
hurricanerek yay for potty training! I'm not looking forward to that with DD, but I should still have some time (she's just about 18 months)
And on the topic of the glucose test, the drink sucks lol. It was cold, it didn't taste too bad just really sugary and since I tend to not drink many sugary drinks it tore up my stomach. Not looking forward to 830 am next Friday...
Anyone else dealing with Braxton Hicks? Mine aren't painful, but they make me super uncomfortable. A month or so ago I had some one night, and I was aparently super gassy that night too (sorry for the tmi) so they hurt pretty bad. But today (and the past few days) I've been super uncomfortable and felt short of breath even sitting or laying on my side. Well, I got up off the couch a few minutes ago and told DS to watch DD cuz I'm hoping a bath will help me get comfortable (I'm so grateful for my 12 year old helper!). When I got into the bathroom I noticed my belly was hard. So, now I realize it's BH that's causing my discomfort. Yay....
Yes and mine are tied to not drinking enough water or if I let my bladder get too full. So I'm just trying to drink a TON of water and pee whenever I feel like I have to.

Well, maybe I need to down some water. I didn't get up till 10am (glad DD let me sleep that late because I woke up a lot throughout the night) and I only had one glass of water so far.

That definitely doesn't sound like enough. Seems like water intake is something most of us are struggling with based on the weekly check-in.
It took me 120+ oz of water Sunday to prevent the number BHs I was getting Friday and Saturday afternoons/evenings.

Uuuugh. I really haven't been keeping track. I just drank more so I'm at 20 oz now. I did great at tracking my water intake when I was pregnant with DD, but I haven't at all this pregnancy. Definitely something I need to work on, because I was so uncomfortable this morning and I really can't be doing that all day.

I knew about the water but the possibility of a full bladder causing it I didn't realize. That explains some things.
@singsea don't worry about the weight, just try to make healthy choices this week. And good luck on your GD test. I'm nervous about mine too (next week).
LadyNymeria yay for the AC being fixed. I'd die if mine broke, even though it's not super hot out yet my apartment gets super hot from the sun beating down on the roof.

Yes, I've noticed mine are also tied to not drinking enough water or sometimes if I've been sitting for a while I'll get one when I get up.

I was doing a lot of reading about them over the weekend when the frequency picked up. Even the smallest amount of dehydration is a big trigger. Others included bladder getting too full, constipation, baby moving the just right way, and apparently even someone touching your stomach if you get them easily.
So basically lack of water and anything that puts pressure on your ute.

That sucks flyakite. We had to replace our coffee maker a year or so ago and bought the same one but kept the old carafe in case we ever did something similar. 5 years isn't too bad though!
Sounds like you're doing pretty well beckyrosen. Keep it up and hopefully you can find the intake level that makes you feel your best.
Dang I broke our coffee pot. Barely hit it against the counter when I went to put it in the dishwasher and it got spiderweb cracks all over. At least it didn't shatter!
I remember when we were buying it the sales lady suggesting we get the one with a metal carafe so that we couldn't break it. Oh well, it lasted about five years! Now to find a replacement...
We have a keurig so we don't have a pot. Before that we had a Mr. Coffee (I think it was that brand) but it had an internal 12 cup pot and you just dispensed one cup at a time. Buuut, I like Gevalia coffee, and signed up for their auto ship of 3 boxes of coffee every 12 weeks (cuz I couldn't afford more than that, and thus was when I had the Mr. Coffee) and I got a free coffee maker. I haven't used it (it's up in my closet) but my mom has the same one that she uses when she has people over, and it's a good coffee maker.
I came in to say hi and post a funny gif that accurately depicted the chaos that is happening in my uterus, but it took me longer than I'd like to admit to find nothing... So hi anyways!!!
I painted my nails last night for the first time in ages and my topcoat dried all weird, it has tiny bubbles in it or something. I keep looking at it and feeling irrationally irritated, lol.
Dont shake you polish before applying. Hold it upside down and roll it between your hands, like you're starting a fire. Make sense? It won't give you air bubbles.
Early FFFC: I do not mind the glucose drink at all. Rather, I think it is sort of tasty
Me too! Last time they said I had 5min or whatever to drink it, but I chugged that shit!
Oh, I chugged mine both times last pregnancy, and will likely do that again this time. Get that shiz done and over with, no need to saver that nasty thing lol.

That's all I have to do??? Damn that's easy. Wish I knew that a long time ago!
Can you eat too many peaches? I'm on number 3 of the day. Idk why they're so much more delicious when I'm pregnant!
Yes you can, they are delicious but will definitely give you the buttpiss if you eat too many in one day. Which, if you're constipated, they might be a good thing to get things moving

I'm not (generally) sensitive to things like that. I can eat all of the fruit!!
