I'm tired...I picked DH up from the airport yesterday because he was in Alaska for the past week. I was hoping we'd all sleep well, but he was all congested and snored like crazy last night. So today, aside from cleaning, I'll be grabbing some breathe right strips and washing the guest room bedding. I'm usually very against us sleeping in separate beds, but I can't do that again and he really needs a good nights sleep.
Doctor appointment this afternoon. Won't be very exciting (which I am thankful for!) but I think I have to schedule my GD test... ick. Not looking forward to that, and I will definitely be fasting before it this time even though they say you don't have to. DNW to take the 3 hour test again! I get a new Blue Apron delivery today that I am excited about! I love to cook but I would be so much happier doing it all the time if someone else would always do the prep work for me.

I've got house work to do today thats pretty much it. I need to find a dress for wedding im going to in July but im not feeling shopping. I had one here that I thought might work so I tried it on and I looked HUGE. Big butt and big tummy are going to make this dress shopping a pain I can already tell.
Had to take my car to the shop today so my hubs had to bring me to work. I hate doing that because it means I can't just go buy whatever I want for lunch based on my random whims lol. I'm taking a trip to Arkansas next week to visit family. I'm looking forward to it and not at the same time. I know its just going to make me really tired.
Just working. Super tired today. I probably only got a couple hours of sleep because I tossed and turned all night. Also it's supposed to be balls hot today. 87 degrees with a real feel of 93. Blech.
Wednesday confession but I'm already planning a trip for myself and H to get away this coming spring. I'm just so burnt out already and the rest of my family is going on vacation in July. So with realizing how exhausted I'm going to be after the baby is born its something I'm planning in the back of my mind. There's a cabin H and I have stayed at that's about an hour away. Thinking about booking a weekend there.
Also working. Today is day 1 of our busy week so that's never fun. Tired but that's my fault for losing track of time and staying up too late.
My bra seems really uncomfortable today. I wish those shelf bras in tank tops were just a bit more supportive because I would definitely be taking my bra off at work right now if they were.

Anyone else planning a post baby escape?
We're not planning anything, but that sounds like a wonderful idea!!!
Not much. Still waiting on the IT guys that were apparently supposed to come on Monday afternoon to switch my computer to my new office. It's bad enough that they make my change office to accommodate another section, they could at least not drag with the process. That's government for you!

I recommend it. H and I did a weekend getaway when DS was six months old. It was at the mall lol. Seriously. We got a hotel room for the weekend and went out to dinner, shopping, went to a comedy club. It was awesome and it gave us time to reconnect as a couple.
We are not planning a post baby escape right now but we are planning a mini baby moon to San Francisco later this summer. We're tacking a few days on to a wedding that we are going to. I'm so excited...we booked a really fancy hotel and I'm looking at restaurants and spa treatments!
We didn't do a baby moon before our first so this should be fun...our first baby free trip!

singingsea A post baby getaway sounds amazing! I'd love to do that, but I'm afraid it will be quite a long time before I will feel comfortable leaving someone with all three kids.
I'm hoping to get in a few date nights though before baby comes. We average two or three a year now since having kids, so we'll see.
As for today, I'll just be taking the kids to story time at the library. We go every Wednesday and I definitely think it's their favorite part of the week. I might also rearrange DD's room to fit in baby things.
About to go to the grocery store and later helping my best friend move into our house for a couple months. We will have a live in baby sitter for DS lol. I plan to get a few date nights in

I dropped C at daycare this morning (she screamed when I left so I had ALL the guilt... DH usually does drop off). I've sorted all of her clothes... Which I haven't done since we moved into our house almost a year ago. It needed to be done desperately. Now I've got to run out at get some totes and other small things. And I may run to old navy. I'm working on tidying up the house today because we have a cleaning lady coming tomorrow. I'm SO excited. I've been wanting to hire someone ever since we've moved in. There's just too much house for me to keep up with and stay sane. And I want a pedicure... Maybe I'll do that, too, while I have some alone time.
LadyNymeria let me know if you have any recs on what do / see! I've been there before for work but my H has never been there.
Will do! It's been 13 years since our trip so a lot could have changed, but if I can think of anything specific I'll let you know!!
Alcatraz was really cool. Especially if you've seen/liked the movie The Rock with Sean Connery and Nicholas Cage. I've heard tours book pretty far in advance now so if you have any interest in visiting, you should look into it soon.
DS slept until 8:40 today. He's never slept past 7:30. It was glorious. Of course I was wide awake at 6:30 but I stayed in bed relaxing until he woke up! We are off to story time and then target. Hoping to find some tanks that are not maternity but still fit. Maternity clothes are so damn expensive!

I was just kinda thinking of this on Monday. My moms inlaws live in Ohio they are really nice and will come up and visit every now and then. I mentioned Monday that maybe after baby is born we can all plan a family trip to go see them since they are older and don't travel much anymore. Also know as hand the baby off to the grandparents and go enjoy cedar point trip. We'll see if that actually happens. But it sounds awesome. I haven't been on a roller coaster in far to long.

I just bought a Merona brand tank from Target last week. It was non-maternity so I just bought it 2 sizes big and it fit great when I wore it yesterday. It was only $5 too (solid color). Nice and long to accommodate the growing belly too.
Just got my first "so when are you going to have that baby?" comment from a customer. Seriously lol? It's going to be a long summer. The worst is "you're still pregnant?"

I am wearing a Merona tank from target right now. I have quiet a few. They also have the short sleeves that work well for me too.

I'm already wearing a nursing bra. Sure, it's less supportive than a regular bra, but sooooo much more comfortable.
annapunkalunka definitely get the pedicure! It's been 2 weeks since I got mine and I'm dying to go back lol, maybe in 2 more weeks.
Today I got to sleep till 9, and thanks to my fitbit I know that I still didn't even get 8 hours of sleep made breakfast for me and DD, and now I'm sitting watching TV. I'm trying to drink more water, but I'm still super uncomfortable (like yesterday, but not quite as bad).
I need to go to the store, but maybe I'll have DH go on his way home, I really don't want to get dressed.
Ooh, a pedicure sounds nice. I'll have to schedule one for my birthday, I think.
H and I are on a sort of baby moon. He has a conference in Seattle and I tagged along. So we're both working during the day, but we're seeing friends we hardly ever get to see in the evening, so it works.
This was my view this morning while working:
Today I'm having lunch with an old friend who was my intern tears ago. Haven't seen her in forever, and it turns out her office is right across the street from the hotel we're staying in.

I finally found a wireless bra that is supportive but more comfy than wired bras which I typically prefer. Too bad I only bought one to try it out. NEED to buy more!!
