UO: I think it's flat-out shameful that so many high profile people are jumping on the racist, misogynistic Trump bandwagon now that he's the nominee. It shows a total lack of principles IMO. The idea that someone like that controlling the nuclear arsenal is somehow better than the other side winning is so far beyond the pale that it's unforgivable in my book.
I still hold to conservative principles of government, but no longer consider myself affiliated with a party.
That makes me feel better! I totally respect people having conservative beliefs about government even though I don't share them, but this situation seems to have nothing to do with conservative/liberal. I'm definitely hope that more Americans than polling currently indicates feel the same way you do. I'm really disappointed in our country right now. Still, I have a bit more forgiveness for random, ignorant Joe-on-the-street who thinks trump "calls 'em like he sees 'em" than for the Marco Rubios and Paul Ryans of the world who know he's wildly unqualified and flat-out dangerous and just shrug and go along with it anyway. Your country and other humans should always come before loyalty to a political party. It doesn't seem like that should be so hard for these people to figure out...
