unringthebell oh man, poor baby and poor you. That sounds awful. *hugs*
cbrandt1 I hate you (I mean that in the most loving way possible lol). The overalls look super cute on you and the dress is cute too! You look amazing in both *two thumbs up*

I'm so jealous of all of you STMs who had short 2nd labors. DD was only 13 hours from 1st contraction to birth, not bad at all for a first birth. DS, however, was a day and a half of hellish prodromal labor followed by 11 hours of actual labor, he was also sunny side up so I had hours of back labor before the epidural. Dear tiny baby Jesus, with your tiny infant hands, please make this one more like my first experience!
I love the overalls and the dress. Too cute on you cbrandt1! Your poor DS unringthebell. My DS is 2.5 as well and I think I would of cried with him. Hugs

That's great news it's not termites theophania! Nothing is fun to deal with, but at least it's the easier/cheaper to deal with ones!
Ugh sorry it didn't go well unringthebell. Ice cream cures almost as well as alcohol so dig in! Hope your DS is doing ok now.
cbrandt1 - I'm still not a fan of overalls in general, although they do look cute on you. If you're not sure whether or not you like them on yourself, would you wear them enough to make it worth keeping them? Absolutely LOVE that dress!!
LadyNymeria, I only have 1 pair of mat shorts, so these would be a second option. I don't know how much I'll wear them because I've not had a pair of overalls since I was maybe 8... Lol. DH hasn't responded to my text so I'm guessing he's not sure and needs to see them in person. He will be a huge influence on whether or not they stay.
I've gotten almost no work done today. Waiting for my boss to call me for our one on one, then the realtor will be here to look at the house, then gotta run into town for groceries.
Back to the HOA grind this week. It was kind of nice not dealing with any of it for almost 2 full weeks.
cbrandt1, I love the dress. I'm not a fan of overalls in general, so those are a no for me. But they look comfy and like they fit well so if you like them then definitely keep them.

I have a tendency to buy something thinking it will grow on me, then I end up deciding I don't like them enough to wear them so I figured I'd throw it out there!
Yea I only have one pair right now too so I need to work on that. Although I can't wear jean shorts at work and at home I tend to go for more comfy than jean so I may be able to get by with one pair + all the maxi skirts I'm starting to collect.

How is it that I can have the same conversation twice in a two day period with my husband and the outcome is radically different in each conversation?
Example: yesterday I told him I needed to go to Fred Meyer because we need a few things that I normally get there (shampoo, face wash, milk... etc). His response was basically oh, ok, have fun.
Today he tells me he's coming home early so we can hang out. I remind him that after the realtor leaves I'm going into town to pick up groceries. He says like what? I tell him, and this time his response is "why didn't we get all that when we went to Costco on Saturday?"
Because, my love, you wanted to go have lunch and then go home. Plus I hate buying milk at Costco because we don't go through it fast enough and half of it goes bad.
It's a working day for me but I just got my overalls in and since I know y'all would be honest, I'm AW'ing them. I couldn't resist trying them on. Please excuse the nappy hair and makeup free face, I'm working from home... *poof*
And bonus dress that came in too...I'm in love with it!
What do you think? Keep or send back?
Keep. I'm not a fan of overalls but you look super cute in them.
My labor was very similar to my moms. Both 32 hours in labor, only difference was I ended up with CS and mom didn't. Our pregnancies have also been really similar.
unringthebell that sounds so traumatic for both of you! Hope everything. Is ok now.
@cbrandt I think you can definitely pull the overalls off - but with the red tee underneath it's a leeeeetle like a 'Sexy Mario' Halloween costume haha. Just need a moustache. The dress is wonderful though!
Tuesday here and just a regular old work day. I have my day off tomorrow though which is so good.
lpj, that's hilarious! I literally just grabbed a t-shirt from my closet to try on with them since I was wearing a maxi today.
I appreciate all the feedback, but I've decided to send them back! DH and I agreed that they're cute but something was off about them. That, and because they're maternity ones, the belly flap was literally stitched for a baby bump so they can't be worn after pregnancy like other maternity bottoms. And for $80, I feel like we need to love them!
unringthebell that whole experience sounds so sad. I'm glad it's over for both of you!
We had a good day at the zoo. We also made it to the library and made muffins. I needed a break though so when she wouldn't nap I closed her in her room with the tablet for an hour. Mother of the year here.

That's a long day! Sounds like a break for mama was well deserved!!

serendipity731 At least this time I picked a hospital that is only about 10 minutes away. The hospital I went to for my previous two births was an hour away. I barely made it last time.
