Thank you. This morning when I went in for the draw the nurse told me she thought this would be the last time and then they'd schedule me for a scan. Apparently my doctor didn't like that my number wasn't in the 3000s now and wants me tested a 6th time on Thursday. No mention of a scan since this. Perhaps if I have good numbers Thursday, they'll schedule me. Should I be concerned about an ectopic?
Like meatandbandp said, a scan by this point should show something. I don't know what the chances of an ectopic are, but the facts that your betas are more or less doubling and you haven't had much (any?) real pain are good signs. Still, I agree about pushing for the scan. I'm frankly really surprised they haven't ordered one yet.

You've all been very supportive. I'm trying to stay positive because at least the levels are rising and they've assured me of as much. I'll be asking about a scan when I go in Thursday.
Me: 26 DH: 26, SA = GOOD Married: May 26, 2013 DX PCOS: November 2013, TTC #1 since July 2013 Done clomid, letrozole, and metformin to no avail January 2015: BFP after ovarian drilling surgery finally helped me respond to meds, but ended in blighted ovum. May 2015: Clomid 150mg w/ trigger, BFN w/ cyst June 2015: natural cycle, BFN July 2015: Clomid 150mg w/trigger, BFN August-September 2015: Clomid 150mg w/ trigger, BFP! Beta#1=49 Beta#2=549
The first successful cycle I had, they ran 4 betas as they were very low (first one was 20 at 15dpo, 27 at 17dpo, 320 at 19 dpo and my final one was 700something at 26dpo). At that point, I was brought in for a scan because they were concerned about ectopic because of the sudden surge of hCG.
This cycle, I only had 2 betas because the numbers were 300 and 700 at 15 and 17 dpo.
My RE clinic doesn't do any scans until the beta has reached at least 1500 (unless they have concerns like ectopic).

Well today's results showed 3153 which RE says he's ok with as it went up almost 1 and 1/2 times last number. Betabase says it doubled in 95.96 hours which is barely in the right range for numbers over 1200. We're getting an ultrasound Monday to check position and hopefully see/hear a heartbeat.

That's great! I hope time flies before your ultrasound!

Ultrasound went well although we could only see a sac and a shadow of a yolk sac so my RE is dating me at 5w3d. That's fine with me since it puts my betas in a better range. Going back next week to hopefully see more! Thanks for all your comforting words. Seems like everything is going to work out right now.
