So laying down for 20 minutes and a quick walk seemed to help so I'm back to thinking baby boy is pressing on something, but I think I'll still call tomorrow just to be safe.
Almost sounds like sciatica. The swelling makes me think he's maybe pressing on your ivc.

Good to know there's something it sounds like that's not serious!! I'm currently laying on the couch with my foot resting up on the back of the couch and it seems to be helping.
lovetruly2015, glad you're now in a room and can at least relax a bit.
H is gone for the weekend and I took the day off tomorrow for a day of pampering. Well, DS was sick today so I stayed with him. Hopefully he's fine tomorrow so I can at least go to my facial and pedicure. I changed my hair appointment to next Friday just in case. Fingers crossed...
Hi everyone! lovetruly2015 glad you've gotten in a room and have eaten. I hope little Jackson decides he's comfy in there for 8 more weeks. Will you be able to go home at some point or are they making you stay in the hospital for the whole time?
LadyNymeria I hope they figure out what's going on with your leg!
Today is my bday so DH and I took advantage of preschool and went to see X-Men and then to a late lunch. I also found a bathing suit!! Yay!
DH got me a gift and it was super cute because in the bag, he had picked out a card and signed it from him, DS1, Graham (this baby) and Remus (the dog)! It looks like we've both decided separately that Graham will be his name! Glad we agree ha ha
Anybody still get that metallic taste in their mouth? I've had it all day and it's driving me crazy. I thought it was a first tri thing but looked it up and guess it's normal to happen now. Yuck.
Happy birthday cbrandt1! And yay for the bathing suit!
I've had an ok day. I took the kids to the library and to lunch at this cute little restaurant in a converted home.
I had more BH today and general discomfort and shortness of breath. I'll talk to my Dr tomorrow to see if he has any tips on how to lessen these symptoms. Water seems to help some but it's still a big issue for me.
I'm trying to be good with what I eat today too, because I'll have my GD test in the morning. But I did have a can of soda today... Oops. Hoping for the best!

beckyrosen - A can of soda tonight shouldn't have any impact on your GD test tomorrow. I had a huge ice cream cone the night before mine and passed with flying colors! My dr's instructions were to just limit sugar in the morning (no fruit, juice, sugary cereal, etc). Good luck tomorrow!

I think your test was easier than mine will be. I have to fast for 12 hours, and can only have sips of water, and it's a 2 hr test... so I just had dinner at like 630, my appt. is at 830, so I won't get breakfast till after 1030.

Damn! I clearly incorrectly assumed this was a standard 1 hour Glucose Challenge Test. If I had failed I would have had a 3 hour similar to the one you have to do. Does your dr office go right to the 2 hour test?

That's what it seems. This is my first pregnancy with this OB, and he's not my first choice for and OB, or even 2nd choice lol. (My first choice moved halfway through my 2nd pregnancy, and the OB that I finished that pregnancy with isn't doing babies right now). I was weirded out by the 2 hour thing because I've only ever done the 1 hour one, so I don't really know what to expect tomorrow lol.
Happy Birthday cbrandt1!! I hope your leg is something pregnancy related and nothing serious LadyNymeria. I had good day! Spent the morning in DS's kid pool. He loves it. Then went to Barre this afternoon.

I had my OB appt this afternoon. Apparently I gained 7 lbs this month (oops) and am measuring 2 weeks ahead. Time to lay off the ice cream I guess. Sadness.

Life is too short to lay off the ice cream.
Well this is true. Maybe if I just take it down to ice cream once a day... haha.

Well I'm back on continous monitoring of baby. He's had a couple dips in heartrate and apparently no excelerations. Just when I thought everything was going so well. The doctors dont seem worried so that good I guess.
