ggandlee--I'm scared every night that it will be our last night to nurse. I think he's ready, he doesn't get much anymore. And he's not taking much out of the bottle at night anymore either. I'm just scared to drop them.
It is probably for the best that it happened this way because otherwise I would have drug my feet and prolonged things. Even though we both enjoyed it, I think it's best for both us to be done now. That last nursing session was really perfect, and if I had known that it was going to be the last I'm sure I would have been a sobbing teary mess and lost sight of just enjoying that nursing session. She was so sweet and cuddly and sleepy, a perfect way to end.
Ooh, how do you do your homemade naan? @mothereffer Curries are hit or miss for us too. Sometimes he devours them, sometimes he looks at me like WTF is this shit
I'm a bit tipsy. DH and I sat on the patio in the backyard drinking wine and beer and listening to red dirt country music while M took her afternoon nap. Now the girl is awake and playing with us and the dogs on the patio. Here is a pic of my little Crazy Eyes feeding sticks to her BB. This is the best day in a long time.

We just got back from the zoo. I dont know why but I really want to throat punch DH. Everything about him is pissing me off. Autumn and I at the petting zoo. She loves the goats.
Aww!! I love all the babiez outside today! Sorry to all you Northeasterners stuck in never-ending snow-hell :/ rebeccag428 you have a beautiful family- sorry DH is pissing you off... at least he's cute though, right?
omg y'all, my H wants to go on some kind of diet. I am not interested. Basically, he wants me to cook really healthy for him so he can eat MOAR COOKIES after dinner. Why not just eat normal and cut out the sweets and booze? Or why not wake up 45 minutes earlier (like, when I do) and go run 2-3 miles in the morning? He does not understand my logic.
I want to be supportive of him trying to lose his 8 vanity lbs, but I don't want it to disrupt my meal planning/eating. SIGH.
I went on a big grocery shopping trip to prepare for my whole 30 today. Then I came home and prepped some things for this week including making spicy egg muffins. I used chorizo for the first time and holy cow is that stuff greasy. I think next time I'll just use breakfast sausage. I did try them and they're pretty tasty
@mx2 I hope C wakes up tomorrow feeling much better
Awesome, trtlcrzy! I'm really excited. I hard boiled 12 eggs and made a breakfast scramble with tofu and veggies, and portioned fruit and veggies into containers for work.
Is your H doing a Whole 30 as well? I tried to get mine to but he doesn't want to. It's going to be tough with junk in the house.

No he's not. He thinks this will last a week and then I will stop. So much support from him. He will eat what I make for supper so he will have some of the "diet".

My H has been on it for a week. He's not good at diets at all, but I made egg muffins that he grabs in the morning with a piece of fruit. At night, I make a fun dinner. He gets salads for lunch. I also gave him almonds and Larabars to snack on at the office.
Thanks for checking on us. He's fighting something off, I think. He was super fussy all day (he usually is though, today he was just extra temperamental) and he took a two hour nap which is very rare. He also went to bed very easily at 6 pm because he was so wiped out. We'll see. Pete thinks his reflux is acting up again and making him cough. Could be.
Have you decided for sure if you're heading to your sister's in the next couple weeks?

Ryland seems to be completely fine now, so hopefully it was just a stomach bug and it's passed! He slept like a rock last night… all the way through night until 7:45. This is unheard off. We consider it STTN if he sleeps until 4 and then comes into bed with us! Today we ran errands, then went to the mall where I finally got some new bras. I was rocking a 34D while I was nursing, and it was awesome, but I am officially back to a 34C. Then we went to Rock Bottom and got beer on the Patio while the kids ran around in the 80 degree weather!

It looks like the baby is intubated, future doctor??
I forgot to tell you guys the highlight of our ER trip.
Si let loose one of his man sized farts on DHs lap during registration. The guy helping us was clearly trying to be serious. I was so worried that the fart just struck me (I deal with bad situations by laughing) and had to turn a giggle into a cough. MOTY, right here.
He was probably trying to figure out if the farthest came from Si or your husband...

Hahahaha!!! You are right, the baby IS intubated! Given her general dislike for food and her love of my stethoscope other various medical equipment, it is WAY more likely that she was intubating instead of feeding the baby. Haha!

I use soyrizo and it's good. Not much grease at all and it's spiced the same as the regular versions so the only discernible difference is the moisture content.

Thanks for the rec. I will have to try that after my whole 30. No soy allowed unfortunately.
