E's first pediatrician appointment is today. I'm excited to see her weight. I think breastfeeding is going really well (other than my nipples hurt). Not having a ton of wet diapers yet but she's pooping with almost every feed now. The true test is the weigh in though
My sister leaves today and ds came down with a fever yesterday so he can't go to school. Dh can't take the day off so ds will be watching a movie in the basement until I can get his fever down or to the doctor to be checked out. 5 days in and reality sets in. Hoping I can get a nap in at some point today. My mom comes tomorrow so I just need to get through today.
I'm going to my primary care dr this morning. I have a big lump in my arm where my IV was 2.5 weeks and it's making me nervous so he's having me come in.
I got some decent sleep last night (two 3 hour stretches). It's funny when that becomes a great night of sleep.
I feel so gross waking up with the night sweats and leaking milk. I almost took a 3am shower because of it.
I got startled by something this morning and woke up at 4, I thought I heard a noise but was probably dreaming & now I'm waiting to try to fall back asleep. ...I might need breakfast first.
I do not feel well today. At all. I'm still taking zofran, but I've gotten sick 3 times already this morning. I need to feel better soon so I can get through this day.

mladerri- you can make it through today. So sorry it's a sucky one.
Sorry you feel shitty, babyzebra and I'm so sorry you have something else to contend with @txmommy.
As of now, I feel okay. I pumped last night before i went to bed at 9pm, and Dh took the first baby shift. So i got to sleep from 9-1 and then DH went to bed and i was up wit DS til 3 and slept til 5:30. God bless the Medela people and their breast pumps.
I requested a visit with an LC for today to check DS's latch, but now I wish I hadn't. I just don't want to leave the house or spend $40.
And today's game is going to be "What dumb thing will I cry about?" So far it's been watching a Hamilton performance from the Tony's. Not even Lin-Manuel Miranda's acceptance speech. Oi.

If the fact that my boobs didn't each have their own area code now wasn't enough, if there was any question if my milk is in it was answered by having it all regurgitated down my front. After which LO promptly fell asleep so now I'm sitting trapped by a sleepimg baby and covered in my own boob juice. Motherhood is glamorous.
Has anyone heard from our other mom of multiples? I know pbandj714 is still pregnant but what about @2bananas (tag might be wrong)?
I'm pretty sure she was being induced this past Sunday, so hopefully she's soaking in some baby snuggles right now. Can't wait to see your twinnies twobananas! Hope all is going well!

Oh no!! I'm so sorry. Hoping this means the end is near for you! I got pretty nauseous at the end, not that sick, but still had a weird week of throwing up a little and feeling sick.
mladerri you can do this!! Hope the fever is short lived!
babyzebra sorry you aren't feeling well! Hope you feel better soon!!
Today is grandma day!! Last week DHs parents were at a church reunion so we didn't get our normal grandma day and man I was tired. I also just missed the company and conversations! She is coming today instead of Thursday since she couldn't come last week and I am so looking forward to relaxing after being up most of the night. Insomnia this time is bad!! It is also DHs brothers birthday. He passed away when he was 14 from leukemia so I think it will be good for her to be around us and she's looking forward to playing with DD.
This little baby hates pooping and doesn't time it well either. She will be asleep start fussing, poop and then is fast asleep again...leaving me with the decision do I wake her up to change her or let her sleep? Last night I changed her. This morning she sleeps.

I am feeling absolutely terrible today. Not sure if it is early labor or prodromal labor or what, but I was up every 15-30 min between 1am at 5:45am (when I finally got up) with what felt like strong Braxton Hicks contractions and what felt like gas pain/food poisoning. I felt a little better after I had a bowel movement (which was diarrhea). I went for my iron infusion this morning and then dragged myself to work, but I am planning to head home at lunch time. I'm holding off on calling the OB unless the contractions develop a pattern or I start feeling even worse because I don't feel like sitting in triage for no reason. Baby is still moving around so that's good.
mladerri - Good luck today. I hope DS is feeling better soon!
txmommy14 - Another thing for you to deal with...you poor thing! I hope it's nothing and you can get some peace of mind.
babyzebra - I really hope the end is very near for you, you poor thing! I hope you start to feel better soon.
AFM - still pregnant and the only thing left at work that I have to do is the part of my job I hate the most. I need to get motivated. My nanny was late this morning and my child was beyond whiny so I'm over the day and it's only 10 AM. I need to just keep on trucking.
DD woke up Sunday morning with bites across her forehead. This is after the 20 or so that covered her arms. I freaked out and called maintenance and told them to come spray for spiders (it was determined by Ped the arm bites were spider bites). I checked the whole house and saw nothing but we did find a mosquito so that is probably what got her face. She gets such a bad reaction that it's really hard to tell. I'm still letting them spray but like wtf I'm about to pop a baby out and don't have time for this. Most likely it happened at the park but I need to be sure with the new baby coming. So stressful!

Not to get your hopes up, but this sounds like labor to me. Fingers crossed for you!!

Just another usual day for me- proctoring an exam, organizing papers at my desk, baking cupcakes tonight and maybe making cookie dough. Everything should be done by Sunday, so the end is near!
Today is DH's first day back at work and I haven't even made it downstairs yet. LO has pooped at least 5 times in the last three hours. I'm getting a little concerned about it, but the poo looks normal and he doesn't seem uncomfortable? He also peed while I was changing him this morning. I figured I was safe after that and let down my guard. Which led to me being covered in pee about one minute later. Not sure where he is keeping it all.

vivela - one of the boy moms on here suggested getting a pile of cheap washcloths. It's the first errand I sent DH on when we brought DS home. Every time I open his diaper I throw a washcloth down. Sometime it leaks back on to his onesie, but we haven't gotten pee on his face, the wall, or my face again.

This is a good idea! I use a wipe, but it doesn't absorb quickly so it really just reroutes it all over the onsie, changing table, his legs, etc.
