SO is leaving soon to help his father move. He is moving in with his girlfriend of 3 years with whom he have broken up at least 15 times. They decided to do it "for real" this time and he rented his house fully furnished and moving in with her in her tiny town 45 minutes from here. Oh boy.
At least it will be a quick move since he let everything to the renters including towels and sheets?!?!?! Yuuukkkkk. Anyway.
As soon as SO will come back, I'll drive the 2.5 hours to my sister to go help her with her 2 sick kids while her SO is out of town.
I'd much rather stay here and chill in the pool in that beautiful weather but she helped me so much after my surgery, I really owe her!
Hope everyone will have a great weekend including all our beautiful pregnant ladies EEEEEEK

J slept until 6:30!!! He's napping now. Once he's up, we will go to the farmers market and then head to my friends for her kids first birthday party. It's right in the middle of nap time so hopefully J naps on the car ride there.
Tomorrow we are going to a BBQ at a local brewery for Father's Day.
And yes. Must use BC. Cannot deal with another baby right now!
DH was offered a job before the holidays but he needed to pass a background check. It just came back yesterday (federal government) and now I'm in panic mode. We'll be moving 4 hours away, I need to sell my house and find a job, I don't know where we are going to live. Eek! SJGR!
But today I'm going to a wine festival to drink all the wine. I can't wait!
My morning started off with negotiations with DS about 5:15am being too early to get up. I won he went back to his bed for an extra hour & 15 minutes!
No real plans it's going to be hot so sitting pool side. I just need to run to the supermarket for food & grab stuff for Father's Day tomorrow. H requested breakfast burritos & it will be hot again tomorrow so BBQ it is.
My mom was drinking with us last night. She got drunk quick & got annoying. She started a conversation about Father's Day that included inviting my brother, sister & her BF. Also a few other family members. I was wtf no! It's H'a Father's Day his day to enjoy not your day to take over like she did to Mother's Day. Then every time I tried to talk she double talked over me so H got annoyed and it made me sound like I was planning a big thing behind his back. Finally I told her to butt out.
My brother asked what we are doing on Sunday I never invited him or my nephew over. If they decide to just show up I don't want them to show up empty handed like the other night. It's not my responsibility to make sure his kid is fed when he says they are just stopping by. My sister doesn't celebrate Father's Day since our father has passed. She never contacts me unless she wants something so eff that noise I told my mom they can go celebrate with her BF's dad.
My original plan was to send an invite out to our friends that if they are hot and wanna stop by for a dip in the pool to swing by today that's it. H's friends always help us in a pinch and helped with the pool cover last weekend.
we have to exchange a light fixture we got yesterday and taking the kids to the pool. I'm a little upset with myself because even though I've felt like I've been active these last few weeks and my steps every day have been pretty high I must be eating terribly because I somehow put on 6 lbs. need to start calorie counting again. It's so discouraging.
Everyone here worried about appropriate birth control and I'm over here like: gotta find out what all these pregnant ladies are drinking and get myself some.

Good morning! Holy cow it sounds like I missed a lot the last week, I need to catch up! Hope everyone is doing well, I missed you guys!
Great news to report on my end...we had two open houses this weekend, and got three offers, all above asking! We accepted an offer, had our inspection Thursday, and everything is going through! They want to close by the end of the month, so paperwork is going to be signed really quickly. I still can't believe everything went so well!
My mom and I worked our tails off cleaning, packing, and staging all while watching the two kids. It was so incredibly exhausting but apparently worth it! The moving truck is on its way with our stuff, and the kids, my mom and I survived the plane ride and safely made it to California. We are so excited to see H and have the family back together again, I couldn't be happier! Now it's time to start looking for a house here...eeek!
Nothing much going on here, so no fun random weekend update. Other than be 100% team #hellnotomorebabiesforme ...at least not for a few years. I'm happy for all of you who are pregnant, buuuuut #fuckno
Dani is still only eating 2-3oz per bottle today, but for breakfast she did manage to eat some strawberries, yogurt, a container of puréed pears, and some puffs... Because why wouldn't my 14lb child be a bottomless pit?
Hoping we have some showings on our house this weekend. We had exactly zero during the week. Our house is nice (and fully renovated), wtf people?!
I'm almost in tears in a good way. I just tried on my one piece swimsuit I got a couple of months ago and it fits beautifully. I feel so confident. It is doing amazing things for my butt and boobs. I've never felt hot in a bathing suit before! Sadly it's $98 on Amazon. I got it back when they had the one day sale on swimsuits for $30. But I highly recommend!
Hahah! emejay, C was in a weird position last night before H and I went to bed. I moved her and ended up waking her up and pissing her off. I will never again poke the bear!
emejay H sleeps in the weirdest positions that I can't imagine being comfortable. But she sleeps so I don't mess with her!
I'm excited for all the pregnancy announcements around here. We are most likely done so I will live vicariously through you all.
AFM Having a lazy day around here just enjoying some family time. I worked in the Pediatic ER yesterday and it was just a shitty day. Not because it was crazy busy, but because of the sick kids. Diagnosed a 14 yo with leukemia, had 3 yo with a prolonged febrile seizure that might end up having brain damage, 2 bad dog bites to the face, and a 6 yo with trouble breathing, high heart rate, pain and no real clear explanation for what was wrong. Needless to say I came home and snuggled my 2 extra close last night. It's beautiful here today so we spent the morning outside playing. Now the kids are napping and I'm trying to get SO to commit to plans for Father's Day. He is anti holiday so he doesn't like to make a big deal about it. However I at least want to make a nice meal for him and probably include my parents.
tngrl3 that would be so hard to see and deliver the news to parents. Sorry it was such a rough day.
F's tear duct is still closed and is almost constantly infected, so the pedi referred us to an eye doctor to do the probing. Since it is before 1 year, it can be done in office but after a year they have to be under anesthesia. The first appointment is over a month away, so in the meantime we are doing Cipro drops daily. I hate doing antibiotics today but otherwise he's my little goopy pirate with one eye glued shut.
About to go pick up MH after he's been doing Ragnar Relay for the last 36 hours. F has been an absolute dream while he's been gone, slept in and everything!
DH was offered a job before the holidays but he needed to pass a background check. It just came back yesterday (federal government) and now I'm in panic mode. We'll be moving 4 hours away, I need to sell my house and find a job, I don't know where we are going to live. Eek! SJGR!

DH leaves tonight for China and then I'm taking the two kids to WI by myself on Tues (eek). Of course ds2 spiked a fever this morning--I had thought he was on the mend-- and I feel like my cold is back. Fingers crossed the flights don't lead to ear infections and none of us is too miserable by the time we have to leave.

Just so I didn't miss more pregnancy announcements, it is only sandj918 and Madso at the time, right?
Jacob slept until 7:30 am today. Holy cow. He woke up at 6am, and I was like, heck no. So I let him fuss and he eventually figured it out. Woohoo! I've been starting to just let him fuss and fall back to sleep himself, and it has been working 90% of the time.
Today we are going to a Father's Day dinner with my parents. For Mother's Day, we paid and it turned out my Mom didn't even get me a card, so I told DH to leave the credit cards at home.
Edited to add: Jacob had a tooth pop through today. I thought he might be teething, but had no idea one was so close to the surface.

On our way to the lake and SIL gender reveal. A little freaked out by the ladder next to the cat seat (FIL gift).
Had an awesome all-over-the-house romp with H last night. Thank you sound machine! It was preceded by a good convo with H that covered a lot of ground.
SQUEE to all the pregnant ladies!! Though I'm firmly in the no thanks club until at least after Christmas.
