I just got up from a two hour nap and whatever strange sensation I was feeling is gone. So that's good. I don't have to pick up DS till 4:45 so I'm sitting folding laundry.
Took the 1 hr glucose test Saturday, got the dreaded call today that I failed and have to do the 3 hr test.
I knew that was going to happen, had to do the same with DS. Not looking forward to it at all. DH is going to take Thursday morning off with me so I can go take it and not have to drive after. I was super shaky when I did the 3 hr my last pregnancy and wouldn't have been able to drive.

Glad to hear resting helped!! Maybe you just really needed the nap!
cbowl, after looking at Old Navy, Destination Maternity, and Target, I ended up buying 2 printed tankini tops and 2 pairs of black bottoms from Target (they're having a buy one get one 50% off sale). The tops are maternity, but the bottoms are just regular swimsuit bottoms in a size up from what I normally wear. These bottoms from Champion got really good reviews for fit, comfort, and coverage. I also got these in case I don't like the first pair. And I got this top and this one.

Ugh, I'm sorry. I had a hard time with the 2 hr one, I don't even want to think about what the 3 hr one would be like.

I have to take my one hour this weekend. For anyone who hasn't done it yet, even though they say you don't need to fast ahead of the test, you are less likely to randomly fail if you fast. I failed my 1 hour last time and then passed the 3 hour during the first hour with fasting (but I still had to stick around for the whole thing).
Welp, I tore a hole in my maternity swimsuit trying to get it on for the pool this afternoon....so there's that. Just ordered a tankini set from amazon even though I don't like tankinis but apparently one pieces aren't working for me this time around.
LO said when I was struggling to put it on "Mama, your swimsuit is REAL biiiiiig!" Lol...two year old's know how to keep it real.

I've had juuuuuust about enough work. I struggled to get through my 12 hour day today. And I have to do 14 hours Wednesday. I've already used this gif once today, but it fits here, too

My OB said something similar - that if you absolutely have to eat something, make it an egg or just straight up protein, no carbs. Anything with sugars in it can throw off the 1 hour test. Save

Oh, yeah. We went swimming while we were stuck in Montana. ZombieBoy spotted my tankini bottoms and said "Mommy, your undies so big!" Thanks, dude. Sorry about your suit, tearing.
