What symptoms are you having? Bloat again and a bit of constipation. Emotional!
Do you have any appointments this week? U/S followed by OB appt today!
Rants/Raves/Randoms? Feel in a mental and sexual funk. Which is not how I felt last time. Just bored I guess. :/
QOTW - What food are you craving right now? Sandwiches. Can't name a type in particular but I usually feel like eating a sandwich for lunch. I don't work around many sandwich spots so, I haven't been pandering to this craving much. Also, chips because of their saltiness and crunch!
What symptoms are you having? Tossing/turning MOTN waking, big ole boobs, fetal movement (I think!) , craving ice cream
Do you have any apptointments this week? Not this week. A/S next Thursday.
Rants/Raves/Randoms: I think I've felt some movement! It happens rather quickly and then when I pay attention it's no longer there. There's two different things I feel. One is a heaviness like he/she is rotating or flipping. The other is more of a grazing/jabbing feeling in my lower abs.
QOTW: What food are you craving right now? Hot dogs and ice cream. Also allllll the fruit and yogurt smoothies.

QOTW - What food are you craving right now? Milk! I can't keep it stocked in the fridge. I would say desserts but I don't really think that's a craving, I think I just want desserts

Awesome!!!!! I know you've been waiting on that.
Yes! I think (and hope) that's what I'm feeling. It's usually B (the boy)... I've only felt (what I think is) A once so far.

How many weeks are you? 20+2
What is your baby the size of? Endive
What symptoms are you having? Sciatica, back pain, trouble sleeping, feeling large
Do you have any appointments this week? 20 week checkup tomorrow
Rants/Raves/Randoms? My butt hurts a lot and it's too hot here. But I've been feeling movement more consistently the last couple of days so that's good. And tomorrow we are making our first official baby girl purchase: white and pink glider!
QOTW - What food are you craving right now? Nothing specific. Maybe pickles? Mac n cheese? Eh. Food is good.
What is your baby the size of? Artichoke (as of tomorrow)
What symptoms are you having? Cannot. stop. peeing.
Do you have any appointments this week? A/S on Thursday!
Rants/Raves/Randoms? DS has starting mentioning a 'baby sister' (one of his friends has a baby sister). I guess this is a good sign, but hopefully he's OK with a baby brother, too?
QOTW - What food are you craving right now? I can't remember who said sandwiches already, but big hearty sandwiches are almost always on my mind lately. Also fresh fruit. So basically carbs. I have more aversions, tbh...there is lot that just doesn't sound good at all.
I can't believe we have ladies that are half-way done already! Time is flying by!
How many weeks are you? 17+5
What is your baby the size of? Chipmunk
What symptoms are you having? RLP, indigestion
Do you have any appointments this week? Not until July 11
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I'm feeling a lot of movement lately. I'm now just crossing my fingers that by 20 weeks we'll be able to feel baby from the outside. I'll be with baby's mommy (and family) and would love for them to be able to feel him/her move. Otherwise we won't be seeing mom again until September and the rest of the family won't see baby until mom and dad bring him/her home early December.
QOTW - What food are you craving right now? Carbs and ice cream
ashleysyn Anecdotal, but I'm 20 weeks and have been able to feel outside movement for a week or two, so hopefully that will be the case for you too! Are the parents finding out the sex?
LizInFL, jealous about outside movement. I'm wondering if I have an anterior placenta because I haven't been feeling a ton of movement. I felt movement earlier in pregnancy and heartbeats have been strong. Baby probably has a bit more room to move and I could just be missing them. I have felt some strong ones that gave me the "willies". Just a bit anxious for Mh and bb1 to feel bb2.
htk1113 I think I mentioned, I have anterior placentas on both babies and was told I might not feel them until later than most people because of that. Try not to be too anxious; of course this coming from a girl who also was lol.
What symptoms are you having? sore nips, increased appetite, big round belly, and fetal movement
Do you have any appointments this week? no appointments until 7/6.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I can't believe next week already marks the halfway point of this pregnancy.
QOTW - What food are you craving right now? Um, everything? The past week or two Chipotle has sounded (and tasted) really good. I've also been enjoying sweet carbs (cookies, donuts, etc.).
Yes! I think (and hope) that's what I'm feeling. It's usually B (the boy)... I've only felt (what I think is) A once so far.
I love that you're able to tell the difference between the two. I never thought about how different each one would feel. Cute!
Mine are in two seperate sacs on the left side/right side (as opposed to on top of each other), so it's probably a little easier than if they shared a sac.

htk1113 I've been feeling movement since around 13 weeks including outside movement for about 3 weeks, but I notice it's only when she's breech. As soon as she flips over its radio silence until she flips back. I have a low posterior placenta.

What is your baby the size of? Length of a banana (10ish inches)
What symptoms are you having? Clumsiness and a foggy brain
Do you have any appts this week? 20 week OB tomorrow
R/R/R? I got my mom to agree to only buy off of my registry (win!!), but now she's bugging me constantly to get it updated and back to public status so she can search for it. I have zero interest. None. I cannot for the life of me make myself do it. Protective mechanism or laziness? Both?
QOTW - I'm only craving sleep and peaceful people right now.
Post by tallblonde on Jun 20, 2016 17:31:41 GMT -5
How many weeks are you? 17 weeks 1 day
What is your baby the size of? Pomegranate

Do you have any appointments this week? Nope
Rants/Raves/Randoms? J was around a baby this Friday and was so sweet to her, gave us hope. I'm having trouble with bandaids tearing up my skin for my stitches, I'm hoping gauze and sports tape will help.
QOTW - What food are you craving right now? Back on the dessert train..can't blame that on pregnancy though.

How many weeks are you? 18w4d
What is your baby the size of? Artichoke?? (I'll be honest I have no idea how big this is)
What symptoms are you having? Headaches. Also I totally popped last week so having that fun stretchy/itchy sensation in the skin over my belly. I had this with DS too. It's bizarre.
Do you have any appointments this week? Next week.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? Curious about cosleeprs- which ones do people like? Just to make things easier while BF I'm planning to keep baby in our room for longer this time. There's like a million co-sleepers and I have no idea which ones are good and no energy to research. Anyone have one they like?
QOTW - What food are you craving right now? Chocolate malts...omg would eat one daily if I could.
What is your baby the size of? Pomegranate or The Holy Grenade of Antioch
What symptoms are you having? Tired, tight abs, constant potty breaks, increased appetite (but only during the day... feeling like indigestion at night) sleep trouble every once in a while.
Do you have any appointments this week? Nope, nothing till 7/12
Rants/Raves/Randoms? Dh will be home Friday! That'll be a crazy day.
QOTW - What food are you craving right now? I was craving Lobster but right now nothing is jumping out at me. That said, I did pick up a chocolate chip cookie dough brownie sundae. LOL More because I was so hot at the pool today!
sophiegrace, yay for the mom win! Do you know why your mom is in such a hurry? (Besides excitement) Is it cheaper to buy stuff now? Is she trying to spread out the cost so it's not all at once at the baby shower? I'm so confused. My mom is starting now, but she's knitting/crocheting/sewing a lot of stuff. (My mom went to Fashion Institute and Technology and is awesome at making things)
My family and my ILs don't seem to be pushing for a registry! I just figured they wanted to wait till we're closer but maybe I'm in a family of procrastinators. LOL

cheshie6 I think it's all excitement. I remember her being baby crazy my whole life and I think she's been counting down the minutes until she would have her own grand baby. I'm trying really hard to just let her be and do what she wants because it's about time she has some happiness in her life and she IS willing to get only registry stuff which should be good enough for me, but financially I wish she wouldn't.
I love that you're able to tell the difference between the two. I never thought about how different each one would feel. Cute!

Thanks for asking the cosleeper question shedreamsincolor, I was wondering the same.
Can you get paper tape tallblonde? That's usually my next go to if an area can't be wrapped and adhesive starts to bother the skin. It's on your back, right? Sorry, pregnancy short term memory is in full effect right now.
sophiegrace, I was ferociously protective of a lot of things related to baby with my first pregnancy. No shame in that game. Some people just overboard about stuff when babies come into the picture, it's a little overwhelming.
sophiegrace, will yours be her first grandchild? I totally love it, and was just curious b/c my family seems to be mellow about it. (They could be taking their lead from me too because I'm just mellow about it! LOL) I'm the baby and DH is a middle child. My sister has 2 kids, my SIL has 1 boy. I go through phases where I want people more excited in some respects but I'm liking the space they are giving us.
DH thinks his older sister is being weird but she went from being the only one with a kid to now us too. Nephew has been only grandchild for 10 years and holidays revolved around him. I'd think she'd be more excited that he'll have a cousin but from what my other SIL says, she's worried that the bending over backward during holidays and birthdays will be geared towards us having the newer younger baby.
Thanks for asking the cosleeper question shedreamsincolor, I was wondering the same.

Oh good - I did pick up some paper tape today when I bought out rite aid today! And I got hurt - free wrap. It's in my inner arm, so the stitches stop about 1 cm from where blood is drawn, so with my elbow bending I've had to do an x with XL bandaids to cover it since the sides constantly pop up.
shedreamsincolor (and sophiegrace), we never had a co-sleeper "attachment" or Halo bassinet or anything like that. DS didn't move into his own room until he was nearly 8 months old, and in that time we did a multitude of things. These included the Rock and Play, the Graco Lounger (their version of the RNP with slightly less rock and less angled), the Pack and Play (though he wouldn't sleep in this for more than 5 minutes until we started putting him on his tummy), and of course, sleeping either in the bed next to me (crook of my arm) or, more often, on me (which was constant from 5-6 weeks old and then from 2.5-3 months until I was at my wits end and started tummy sleeping him).
I think having baby in the room with you is a really good thing early on and I don't necessarily plan to do it for quite so long this time around. But what you use will largely depend on your baby. Mine would NOT sleep flat and really truly only wanted to be held while sleeping, though occasionally he'd settle for a 1.5-2 hour snooze in a RNP.
What symptoms are you having? Uterine stretching, cramping if I haven't drank enough water
Do you have any appointments this week? Monthly appointment on Thursday. I'll get to schedule my anatomy scan this week!
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I've been a little anxious this week as I get closer to my appointment. Part of me still worries that something bad might happen even though I know the chances of that are pretty low at this point.
QOTW - What food are you craving right now? Popsicles and all the sweets
Post by sophiegrace on Jun 20, 2016 21:13:43 GMT -5
I'm glad you said that you had similar feelings htk1113. I don't want to be a brat or unappreciative, truly. I just want to handle it all on my own timeline. And I hate feeling like I owe anyone anything.
cheshie6, yes and that won't change for awhile since my sister just graduated college and my older brother doesn't, well, simply put doesn't like kids lol.
Thanks for asking the cosleeper question shedreamsincolor, I was wondering the same.

Let me know if the paper tape is still bugging you. I didn't realize that it was an area that can be wrapped so I can throw out a few more options for you so you don't have to deal with all that irritation on top of the annoyance a healing, sutured area is already causing. Since we're so close I can overnight some stuff from the office of its not readily available (Admittedly I no longer have any idea what a normal medicine cabinet holds anymore). FX what you have works and it heals up before you know it though!!
Post by tallblonde on Jun 20, 2016 21:25:03 GMT -5
sophiegrace you are too sweet! I've wrapped it with the stretchy no hurt stuff and it's tight but no adhesive is on the skin! The paper tape is just holding the end down. So I am hoping this is it.
The bandaids the doctors office gave didn't bug me and didn't peel, but they only gave me 2 days worth..definitely higher quality!
