I'm 3rd tri oct 23! What the hell? and getting induced at 37weeks (which is the week between Christmas and New Years lol) so I actually have less time then I think I do left.., and summer is my busiest season, this pregnancy is going to fly by...

H & I kind of agreed to have mostly everything we need done by 30-32 weeks, so that is by early November.

ashtog, yay December inductions, I'm being told the same time frame. Does Canada have similar tax benefits for end of year babies as the US? I immediately thought of this announcement I'd seen or maybe the dogs with headphones for quiet?

I kept it classy this morning by strapping DS into the ergo and wearing him into the liquor store at 10am. The cashier was giving me some side eye. Um hello, know that parents are a big target population and have a couple of carts with kid seats. I'm putting together a wine basket for my friend's bridal shower this weekend. I purchased the fancy marble wine chiller from her registry and a couple of bottles of wine. I'm going to add some nice chocolates and crackers. What else am I forgetting food wise? I'd love to include an assortment of cheese but I'm staying away from perishable items. Other options include pretty cocktail napkins, a wine stopper, or wine glass charms. Thoughts?

lakegirl, seems like a well stocked basket! If you want to add more, I'd say go with the wine stopper.

lakegirl, I love the wine basket idea. I agree with suggestions of adding a nice wine cork and corkscrew. I got some fancy charms to identify people's wine glasses they are cute.

I met up with my friend and old manager for lunch. I told her about being pregnant and the babies. She was so excited for me. It made me feel so happy to share and see someone's excitement for us.

The rest of my week is "easy" in that I don't have a ton of meetings scheduled. But I made of these outlandishly aggressive commitments to my boss on Monday morning when I had one ounce of energy. Grumble.

heybulldog56, I would feel the same way. I do, actually. I just got promoted a couple months ago and I'm irrationally worried they're going to give my position to someone else but I had to tell them because of weight restrictions.

So I figured out that unisom + B6 before bed DO help with MS, but I have to make and eat my pb toast as soon as I wake up or the empty stomach will make it start up hardcore. I actually feel pretty good this morning!

Re: telling people. I'm waiting until after the NT scan and initial blood test results to come in to tell anyone at work. We'll tell my family in person next week since we already have our travel plans, otherwise I probably would have told my parents already. With friends I'm just playing it by ear and only telling people I really trust OR who don't have a lot of connections to other people I know.

I am so anxious/ nervous about telling my assistant principal I am pregnant. I was so ineffective/ lazy and withdrawn last time. I really don't want to burden her or make her feel like "oh shit, now I have to deal with this again".

I took the kids to the science center this morning since I only threw up once (a miracle!). DD is napping and DS is watching some TV while I enjoy the quiet time. DS's last t-ball game is tonight, then we're heading out for ice cream to celebrate. I'm ridiculously excited for the season to be over haha!

silvermelody, DH is waiting on the NT scan to tell his side of the family, we have it on Monday, but test results will take at least a week right? the waiting is killing me, especially since we see them weekly and I suck at secrets.

heybulldog56, I always thought the 30min poop was a myth or TV thing, but NO! we went on a vacation with friends and EVERY DAY we would have to wait 30 min for the guy to do his business. I finally asked his wife if getting his phone first would help speed things along, she wouldn't rock the boat. (if you know this is part of your ritual, wouldn't you make plans that take that into account and schedule things 30min later???) rant over.
