My child projectile vomited on himself, me, the boppy, my damn pillow, and my sheets. Needless to say, we are sleeping in the guest room tonight and he got burped forever (not that it did too much). I swear if I get another spit up bath tonight ...
First night back at work. My patients are behaving, but my body isn't. All of my joints hurt! This has been a problem for a while, but seems significantly worse PP. Thinking its arthritis, which runs in the family, but not sure why it would be worse now.
Definitely missing the LO, excited to see her in a few hours! She's been giving lots of smiles the last few days, totally melts my heart.
Man it feels like every time I wake up I am drooling. I can also hear myself snore, hopefully that goes away soon. At least my pregnancy stuffy nose went away!
Oh and I cut lo's nails today...actually I did both of the boys' nails. A little nerve wracking on the little one but I'm glad I did it before he scratched himself.
Trying to keep my eyes open. Really hope DD will pass out after this feeding for a few hours. Just heard a crash in the office... What has the cat done meow? Spaz...
I am going to go back to sleep and pretend it's not Monday.
DH and DS1 have both been sick for 2 weeks (they've been to the doctor and are on meds now), and DH was a jerk this morning. I'm going to just *hope* it's because he's not feeling great and having a case of the Mondays. He suggested I see the lactation consultant again because DS2 was having trouble getting latched and fussing at the boob, and I suggested that he see an attitude consultant to help him not be an asshole. Oh, the fun conversations that happen at 3am...
LO has been on a fairly steady streak of waking up at 1:00 and then 4:00, but tonight he slept from 11:00 to 3:30! I am eternally grateful for the long stretch of sleep, but my boobs are like rocks now and they immediately started leaking all over me when I pulled my bra down to nurse.
I just fed LO and am trying to go back to sleep without pumping. I didn't pump last night and it went fine. The idea is that it will take less time but I've already been up 45 minutes and he's still not back asleep so I feel like I might have well have pumped.
We had sexy times yesterday. Why didn't anyone tell me my vagina is basically a dry field of cotton? And I had a c-section, it's pretty uncomfortable.
Owen slept for two 3 hour stretches last night. DH woke up those times to feed and change him because he said he knew what had to pump. Sounds like he gets it!
Just waiting for another bed snowstorm to roll thru. At least all I have to do today squeeze baby.
@nursesouder, same thing here! We went out and had some drinks, came home and had sexy time, and DH was like, what's wrong with your vag? I got all offended and was like, "I JUST PUSHED A BABY OUT OF IT YOU ASSHOLE", assuming he was saying it felt stretched out or something. He was just referring to it being crazy dry apparently. Never had that problem before...
Well I thought I was going to get by with only one MOTN feeding, but here I am at 5:00 with a kid on my boob. I don't mind though - my boobs are still so full I literally shot milk all over his face when he pulled away for a second. Sorry little guy!
My little one turns 3 weeks today. Oh boy. I'm waiting for him to realize he needs his diaper changed. He normally notices right away so I'm being bad and enjoying the quietness of him. Plus, after his poop explosion of last night (after his bath!), I'm a little worried I won't find poop and will be facing that the third night in a row.
I never cared about poop before I had a tiny human...
DH is out of town so of course she's waking up every two hours crying when normally we wake her up 3-4. Also she will not go back down. The 2 am feeding took an hour and a half plus extra comfort boob.
On the plus side I have discovered nursing while laying down. Yay. Don't know if I can do it with DH back in the bed however. Hmmm.

The local anchors were just announcing birthdays and stumbled on this little girl's name. Charlijo. (Charley-Jo) Poor girl. That is why I chose easy to pronounce names.
I have 4 little bears, just like my name says. 2 girls 2 boys ages 8,5,3, and my newest babe. 2 of my little bears have life threatening food allergies, feel free to ask me more about that!
I don't know who swapped my baby out with one that sleeps, but I just got 4 uninterrupted hours of sleep. She fell asleep in her momaroo and slept from 8:45 til 12:40, then in the pack n play from 1:35 til 6. I don't know this baby, but I'll keep her!
My "little man" is 8 weeks old today. Where did the time go because I'm not ok with this. He is up over 3lbs of his birth weight as of Thursday and I'm not ready to accept that he's growing up.

I guess Charley-Jo is better than Charley-Ho? That's what I would have thought.

My OB warned me that my joints will still have more laxity PP so that could be contributing to your pain.

+1 for the Baby Slept Club!! Only had to feed him 3 times between 7 pm and 7 am and he went back to sleep pretty well, so I actually got sexy time and long sleep stretches last night! I plan on taking over the world today, just sayin'
Lots to do today. Have to organize things from our trip this past weekend. I hate unpacking!
And I'm jealous of the sleeping baby club! Rory was up a lot so I figured he would crash after the 5 am feed so I could get to the gym and home before H had to leave for work. He's been fussy for the past 4 hours.
Baby had her first cluster feed ladt night(3 hours at the boobs) and as a result only got up to eat once last night. I feel pretty darn good today! I have also mastered nursing at the table with her propped on my boob so I can drink coffee and screw around on the computer while she eats. Woohoo!
We moved DS into a twin bed yesterday(he was in a toddler bed) and I feel all emotional about it. He was so happy and proud that I think even DH teared up a bit. Sigh, they grow so freaking fast.
LO is already in his second outfit of the day because his diaper leaked out the leg... Some days he goes all day in the same clothes and some days we change him 2 or 3 times a day! Good thing we have a huge stash of 0-3 clothes!

That is what they said at first! Then they tried char-lee-ho? They totally bungled it.

This chubby nugget was wide awake and waiting for me this morning when I got home from work! She also suddenly sleeps through the night, from 12:45-7:45, doing it for the last 3 days or so. Fingers crossed we keep it up!
