Hugs, pbandjelly! bocaburger, I'm glad everything was ok! That does remind me that I have to put a waterproof liner under my sheet... katelm the Zantac seriously saves me. I hate to take anything, but I literally cannot function without it. Mine is way worse at night too.
At least the dc2london house has freqeitn visits for healthcare in a year when you'd already be meting your deductible! Silver lining?
How's your sons leg?
With the allergies and asthma we end up meeting our deductible every year but yeah, we met our deductible in March this year . And ours is not a low deductible. Our OOP is $12k and I am pretty sure we will hit that.
He is still in a lot of pain. We are going to take him in for an x ray.
joy ,I am amazed that you managed all of that, on top of working full time. It takes all of the energy I have just to do the day to day cleaning. There's none left for major deep cleaning or organizing tasks.
Ha - thank you! It was a labor of love. And necessity. Our house is only 850 square feet (not including the basement) so there was no room for a baby unless we got rid of stuff. Now we have room! And a plan! And are getting the things!!!
Today's my shower. I'm nervous for insane reasons (people won't come, no one is interested in my kid, etc). My mom and sister are throwing it so I've had nothing to do with it. I know they've worked hard so I just want it to go well for them.

I make no sense.
I was a nervous wreck the day of my shower. I just don't like being the center of attention and I feel such pressure to express appropriate gratitude for everyone's attendance and for every gift and the hard work of my hostesses etc. Hopefully you can relax and have a great time! I promise everyone cares about your baby!
I typed out a giant response post and tapatalk ate it. In a nutshell yayyyy for home pbandjelly, hope it's not a break dc2london, and katelm, I'm on Zantac 75 2x a day. So worth it.
Downside to nest cam- it saves a video in your history for the first 30 days (free trial)
This morning at about 7, the leg cramps woke me up (like clockwork). I grabbed all my pillows and went to lay in B's room since she's got the blackout curtains. Looking through my email this morning, it detected the motion and saved the video of me. Like Naked. Good thing i was lazy when I set this up and didn't set up my husbands account yet huh? Hehehehe
Went to bed and was just drifting off when I choked on my own reflux, vomited, and peed myself (in the bed). That was fun.
I went through all of first tri not vomiting once and now 3 times in the last week I have suddenly chocked on my own reflux and vomited as well. All over myself in bed. It comes out of nowhere because I don't feel nauseous. And Friday's night's episode I even had vomit coming out of my nose
Overall I really can't complain, I've now vomited a grand total of 5 times this pregnancy which is sooo much better than most people have it. But there is something particularly unpleasant about being jolted out of sleep to choke on your own acid reflux.
My kids are both grumpy, whiny, and fighting non-stop, but I'm working through it and getting more stuff done around the house so I feel good about that. 2 more hours until DD2's nap...
Oh and I know there are a few Odyssey owners.. We installed the infant car seat on the middle seat in the second row, and I realized yesterday that the seat moves forward toward the driver/passenger about 5 inches, making it easier to reach the baby and replace a pacifier or something if needed (obviously not while driving). And our car seat (Chicco Keyfit) fits even with the driver seat all the way back for DH. Pretty handy!

I tried Zantec 75mg for the first time last night & finally got some sleep! I hate to add another med but I was way exceeding the max tums dose and still miserable
I wasn't sure about it at first, but I've been taking it most of third tri now and it has made such a difference.
I've started taking the liquid mylanta instead of tums and find it actually works better. I think it's because the liquid coats my throat/esophagus. I bought, opened, and drank it right in the aisle at target Friday after eating brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts. I thought I was going to die.

That's a true picture of pregnancy, right there. Forget these stock photos of women sitting with a huge smile on their faces and a bowl of cantaloupe, staring lovingly at an ultrasound picture. Pregnancy is shotgunning Mylanta in the pharmacy aisle with a half-eaten box of Pop Tarts on the floor next to your handbag.

I have been reading but not posting because DH is hogging the laptop to binge watch The Office and I hate typing on my phone. But ((hugs)) to all, especially our NICU moms.
DH's entire 3rd toe is numb, which is not the intended outcome of his surgery. He has been obsessing that this is permanent. I am not going to go there 5 days out from major surgery. I need him not to spiral too, but there may be nothing I can do about it. He can hobble around waaaaay more than me post c/s.
My patience reserves are totally depleated. Nothing like being thrown face-to-face with your worst self day after day to really give you a humbling perspective. My poor kids - I need an extra infusion of the grace to be kind so they and DH can stop dealing with me. I just finished a book on parenting with kindness, but sadly it did not contain a magic formula.
I also had a "small" ketone result today. Guess I haven't been getting enough carbs. No wonder I have been starving!

I've been fairly MIA this week. Soo busy running VBS at church. I was able to take a 10 min nap a couple of afternoons, which was really nice.
Today is our 6th anniversary! DH and I went out for a nice dinner last night. Tomorrow he heads out on his last business trip before baby comes. Then we leave for vacation on Friday. I am soo looking forward to it, but I know it won't be quite as relaxing with an almost 3 year old!
This week I'll be running around doing last minute errands, which includes picking up a maternity support belt. I cannot belive how low this baby is. I carried ds1 super high up until I pushed him out, and this one I pretty much feel like I need to hold in so he doesn't fall out!
Nothing is broken!! Probably just a badly bruised bone. I am so relieved
Whew! This is what happened to B in Jan at the trampoline park. It took her a good few days to be able to walk on it again and was sore for a few weeks, but that beats broken for sure!!!
