Basically I want to be a big baby and whine about my back. I totally threw it out this weekend somehow and my chiropractor is totally full this week. I can barely walk and all I want to do is ugly cry! Pray that she has a cancellation and I can get in!
What is everyone else whining about this morning? Or winning too!
Sorry about your back cbear. I hope you get to see your chiropractor soon and that she fixes everything.
I have a win! And it involves my IL!!! My FIL and MIL bought Tumaini the perfect bike for her birthday! It's pretty and she loves it. We've already been on two bike rides and I better get back in shape because I had to run at times to keep up with her. We also had the perfect birthday celebration day, even if her birthday is just next week. Everything went smoothly and I think everyone had a great day!
I have a win. My oldest is going to VBS this week and my mom is taking him, along with my niece. So, the kids are spending a couple of nights with her to cut down on the back and forth. Be a little quiet at my house.
Major win: the insurance company found a way to cover our lift damage. So instead of $2500 now we just have the deductible.
Whine: H and I are in a funk again. Sometimes I wonder what life would be like with someone who was a little more aligned with me and children, discipline, and activities wise with them.
Win: swim lessons start tonight
Whine: swim lessons means I have to get in the water with Eliza. Thankfully Hanna is on her own this year. But V stayed at her Mom's 2 extra days and she promised to help with that.
Whine: I woke up to a poop smeared crib and Paige around 4:30 this morning. It caused some diaper rash on her poor little legs. She's had some icky poops and a loss of appetite the past few days. I hope she feels better soon and keeps the poops for daytime hours!
Whine: I'm so exhausted and sleepy and just want to take a nap at my desk... The long hours and late nights working have finally caught up to me, I feel like I'm going to crash at any moment
Whine: I'm so busy at work right now and one of the other designers just put in her notice - her last day is Friday - so not only am I already swamped and barely ever get on here, but now we'll be dividing her workload and I'll be even more busy until we can hire someone.... which always takes forever.
being busy is a good problem to have though... right?

Win: I'm home!!! Whine: we are still celebrating Aubrey's birthday on the 30th because I came home late and want to her to have the whole day to be her birthday. (That's the only day everyone can make it to celebrate and it's my birthday too)
Whine: I have to work tomorrow. My boss told me to call off but a.) I could use the money before my surgery and b.) this is my last week before leave and I'm sure it won't look good if I'm taking off extra days especially because the holiday weekend is coming and lots of people are on vacation.
Whine: my feet hurt. I'm fairly certain i have Plantar Faciitis since it hurts any time i walk, but especially after I've been sitting for awhile.
Win: We got a lot of work done in our backyard yesterday, and I'm so excited for our first BIG diy home improvement project.
Whine: I'm sore from swinging an axe, shoveling dirt, and moving plants, pavers, and retaning wall blocks....
Win: I have Friday off though and we're planning to work all day while the girls are at daycare - so we can make some more progress!
My H has had Plantar Faciitis and the doctor actually recommended he freeze water bottles and then roll them under his feet.
I'll try anything. I haven't gone to the doctor, but I've been stretching and massaging when I can. But after I sleep all night and get up it hurts to walk even 2 steps! It's kind of ridiculous.

I have another whine
Our landlords aren't budging on giving us 5 extra weeks here and are listing their house for sale now. I just don't get it. I can't believe people could be that heartless and make a family essentially homeless just for money.
junkytrunk the most common word from my mouth since Paige was born is Gentle! to Dylan. He is very physical in general and is still learning and testing how to interact with her. It has been the most frustrating thing for me! I'm just waiting for the day when she gives him a nice whack back. Kidding, not kidding.

I am so so sorry. Is there anyway you can stay in for the 5 weeks while it is listed?

The problem is they are listing it now and our lease isn't up until 9/15, so it will most likely be sold by then. The market here js on the sellers side right now and things are selling quickly.
I'm searching every site to see if there's a way we can deny entry into the house for prospective buyers. The only thing I see right now might be the covenant for quiet enjoyment, but not sure if that would hold up or not.

junkytrunk, don't clean up the place at all. Make it look cluttered. Ha! Maybe then it won't sell. Who knows. I'm sorry, that just really sucks. I wonder if the landlords are in some sort of bind or something because literally one months rent int His market seems weird to quibble over, unless they are really worried about the election screwing with the possibility of selling.
junkytrunk, I am sorry your landlords are being so heartless! I agree with xanthepants; keep it messy. I know CA is a tenant state, so I hope you can find a loophole.
Win: My mom came on Sunday, which was C's actual bday, to visit from AZ. We haven't seen her since I had the baby in Nov.
Whine: She missed C's party on purpose because she and my dad still can't be in the same room together after 20+ years of being divorced. Whomp, whomp.

Im pretty sure even if they sell it if you have a written lease the new owners would have to honor it.
What state are you in again? Let me see if I can figure out what the law is where you are.
Whine: This is an extremely busy week for me. I had a big presentation yesterday, a bunch of work is due and I have to go to NYC for the day for more presentations on Thursday.
Whine: I'm exhausted after the busy weekend we had. I could literally just curl up and sleep all day.
Win: Three day weekend coming up!
Whine: Kayleigh had a rough day at daycare yesterday. She had such a great time this past weekend that it was hard to go back to the daily grind. Also, one of her friends from her old daycare came to the birthday party. She was crying that she wanted to go back to her old school because she missed her friend. It broke my heart.
Whine: Andrew has officially hit the stage where he's throwing fits on the regular. Isn't it too early for this!?!?!
Win: Henry had a good doctors appointment yesterday, my H took him and dealt with the shots, and now there won't be any more until he is 11!
Whine: I am leaving for OH today for work. It's just one overnight but one of my flights got cancelled and now I won't arrive until 8pm. I was hoping to get in early and relax and get to bed early. Now I probably won't get to my hotel until 10ish
Win: I have really been seeing results from my workouts. I usually just diet and not make the effort to do the exercise portion but this time around I knew I would have to do more and it is paying off. Now while my stomach will never look the way it did pre-baby I actually have visible ab muscles! I never ever thought that would be possible.
Whine: I really dislike my job. I feel like all I am doing is just counting down the months until my H is done with school so I have more options. But since he isn't done until May of 2018 I feel like it is never ending.

That's awesome! Are you doing 21 day fix? I forget. I can't decide if I think it's worth it to buy. And I know I don't want to buy Shakeology.
paddyb I'm in CA and they all know when our lease expires. That's why we are upset they wouldn't just extend it 5 more weeks so we could stay here until our next place is available. The next buyers would never know the difference of when our lease was up. That's why it's such BS. They are just in it for the money because the good time to sell is the summer.

Wait do you want to extend your lease 5 weeks to 9/15 or your lease ends 9/15 and you wanted to extend? Or neither?
