Birth date: October 3rd (I'm hopeful...)
Weight: 7 lbs. 14 oz.
Length: 20 in.
Hair Color: Dark Brown, but may start out Blonde.

I'm another one who will have an RCS which isn't scheduled yet, but who knows if I'll make it to the date? DS1 was 17 days early, so I am hoping to not have a repeat of that. I was convinced he was going to be late; he showed me!
Birth date: 10/28. I am aiming for this as the RCS date. It's a Friday, my EDD, and the day after MH's birthday. If DS2 is born on either the 24th or 28th, the whole family's birthdates will line up (DS1 7/25, me 8/26, MH 10/27).
Weight: 8 pounds (DS1 was 7 pounds 6 ounces)
Length: 21 inches (DS1 was 20.75 inches)
Hair Color: blond (DS1 is blond)
Eye Color: blue (MH, DS1, and I all have blue eyes, so I will be shocked if this baby does not)
Sex (if you are team green): We already know another little man is on the way.

Birth date: October 1 (due Oct 2. Went into labor a week early with DD, so I think I may go early but not quite as early. Or at least I hope I go a smidge early )
wibblywobbly how are you able to schedule your RCS earlier than 39 weeks? My OB told me the ACOG guidelines for elective c-sections in a singleton birth are 39+ weeks. That is also our hospital's policy.

I was told the same thing. The OR Schedule isn't open for that far out at my OB yet. I'm still waiting for a date. Is this where can say I'd like to go into labor on my own first before the C?

I thought it would be one week early too, but it's not elective. I'm assuming the two weeks is because of the surgery I had to remove an ectopic pregnancy. They had to remove a small part of my uterus with the tube. That's the only thing I can think of that would move the CS date up to two weeks early. I really thought he'd do it one week early so I was surprised when told me two weeks.

Mine's not technically "elective" either, but evidently that's what classification it falls under. Mayer it does have something to do with your previous surgery. Interesting.
penguin129 you'd have to ask your OB I imagine. The point of scheduling it a week ahead of your due date is to (hopefully) avoid going into labor beforehand. Would your OB let you VBAC if you wanted? If so, they may be ok with saying "I want to go into labor naturally and then have the c-section", since attempting a VBAC is kinda the same thing. I'm not a VBAC candidate so I never asked.

britta I was just going with what my dr. said but I'll ask him why it's two weeks early at my next appointment. He said they don't want to risk a uterine rupture so I figured that was the reason.
