littlelion mmm churros dashook ooh the Cape! I've always wanted to go to Nantucket, have you ever been/is it gorgeous? ourcrazynavylife happy 18 months baby Em! raven GL car hunting! Bookplates are one of those cute and useless things that are sooo much fun
We are going to the beach this weekend and also I am CLEANING EVERYTHING. That's the plan. In other news I am hungry all the time now. And I may have blurted it out that I'm preg to the DCP today. I'm the worst at keeping secrets. Happy long weekend everyone!!
BabyStandish, when I get to my computer later, I'll grab a few links and shoot them to you in a PM bkmama0 the Cape is amazing!! I fell in love with it immediately the first time I came, which was back in 2009. I've been to Nantucket a couple times too and it is great; it's pricey and hard to get to though so personally I prefer the mainland (since we can stay for free at my ILs' house).
ourcrazynavylife omg. We have had shit in the tub, but not in the floor. Nope, I take that back. The cat has definitely had poop stuck to her butt and scooted across the floor. Hopefully it was a hard floor and easy to clean? Love those leggings, btw! I bought some solid color ones and I'm dying for some cooler weather so I can try them out. Have yours held up ok after washing? I have one of their maxi skirts and it's so comfy! littlelion I dug out one of the ones our board did last summer- I think it's the 30 Day total body one. I am super jealous of your churros. Those sound fantastic! bkmama0 have fun at the beach!
Lo is currently in the middle of a MONSTER nap. He didn't get to bed until 11 last night and was still up at 7:30 this morning. I guess that plus his crap nap schedule this week finally caught up to him. It was nice to have the time to sort through all our mail and pay bills, but ugh, adulting.
Just when I was starting to get a schmutz worried about Em's language skills. She learned two new words this week. Proud mommy

Yay for milestones! DH is starting to worry about LO. She says a few words ("mama" mostly), but not very clearly. She prefers to hum and point, which is hard to break when she gets her stubbornness from her daddy.
dashook was just on the cape last night DH is on Nantucket today for work. bkmama0 I've never been but DH frequently goes there and the vineyard for work, lucky!!! littlelion have fun at the zoo! And with your churros BabyStandish kudos for you for trying! I wish I could but I like poultry and dairy too much. ashlantic you have more willpower than me. I am way off the fitness train! raven love etsy! Also my LO is similar in the language dept- trying hard not to worry! ourcrazynavylife those TWWs are brutal. Sending good vibes your way.
Still loves his binks for sleeping. Binky hoarder! We are away for the weekend in New Hampshire. My birthday is Monday. All downhill after 30!! I just got LO to sleep and I'm prepping for a transfer to his crib- his unfamiliar crib in my Inlaws lake house. We will see how tonight goes!!!!

There was a thread over on Parenting about that this week. It's amazing what a wide range of "normal" there is. They did say that there is typically a language explosion around 18 months, give or take a few months.
And speaking of new words, lo just learned "rock." But it sounds just like "cock." Dh and I giggle to ourselves every time.
