DS fell asleep on me earlier and I was stressing about everything I need to do. Then I thought, this is stupid. How many times in my life am I going to have a one month old baby asleep on my chest? I'll find time to vacuum later.
Well, DD1 has whatever gastro virus is going around this week. So Right now I'm just hoping she's better by Monday so I can get out of the house to somewhere that's not the Dr or grocery store.

I try (but fail) not to complain about DH, but is it just in men's DNA to "clean" by picking the most not needed and worthless thing to do? Our kitchen is full of dirty dishes, laundry needs to be done, we can always wash bottles, and what is DH doing? Cleaning the third bedroom (used as a man cave/office) that we hardly ever use. Seriously.
We're at a water park and having such a great time. Taking turns going on rides w ds1 and I'm enjoying bf in a different place besides my house. I'm so glad the clogged duct didn't keep us from having fun today.
My weekend plans include lots of walking, spicy foods, nipple stimulation, going to the pool again, hanging out on my yoga ball, finding some raspberry leaf tea, and maybe DTD when DH comes home. I'm a woman on a mission.

This morning I took DD to a local zoo (reptiles and life size fake dinosaurs) for some one-on-one time. We both needed it. I want to get to TJ Maxx sometime this weekend but besides that... Not much planned. On Sunday I guess MIL is having us over for a picnic before the fireworks Sunday night.
Fireworks are in the next town over where DH's aunt lives... So DS and I will stay at her house until however late the fireworks are over while DD, mil and DH go down to watch them. And honestly - I don't wanna go. We won't get home til 11 and I just want to stay home with DS and sleep.

Some friends of mine from high school are in town and visiting us for the day. It's awesome to see them. However, everyone just went out for lunch (including H and DD), but the little baby decided he must eat again, so I am nursing at home by myself. Hoping I can catch up with them.
GOmamab15, are you the last one?!?! We've probably already discussed this but I forget!!
I'm about to get my hair cut, then go to church, then picking my sister up form the airport who is visiting for a few days! She lives in Virgnia and is bringing my 1 year old niece. I am so excited to see them and spend time with them, she's probably my closest friend!
Since MH and DD1 are gone my mom and sister came over. I went a walk then we went to lunch had an awesome beer then got pedicures. Now it is 90 and too hit to be outside.
Yesterday dd1 was napping and dd2 nursed and fell asleep. I was planning on taking dd2 with me for errands, but DH suggested I go alone and leave him with the sleeping girls. WIN.
I went to bed bath beyond, and exchanged our roomba... Then to buy buy baby to get another ubbi diaper pail since we are about to start cloth, then to old navy to buy a bunch of "transition clothes" since I hate wearing my maternity clothes and I don't feel confident enough in my pre Pregnancy clothes. It was 2.5 hours of bliss.
Today FIL and his gf are in town. We saw a 4th of July parade, played at the park, went to lunch and now we are all trying to nap. The rest of the weekend should be equally busy/crazy.

We took DD who is not quite 2 to a trial gymnastics class. She loves to climb, jump and drop on her behind etc. She did great! We registered her for their regular session.
We then dropped DH's car off for regular service and went into the mall. DD had a half an hour nap in the car before we got to the mall and we thought she would be good with that. We were totally wrong. She had an EPIC melt down after a while and there was absolutely no consoling her. Everyone was staring at us as we tried to make our way out of the mall. Nothing we said or did helped. As we exited the mall (DH and me in silence), we looked so beaten down by our toddler. I've heard 2-3 is a very challenging age and DD seemed to have hit her terrible 2s early.
DS was a dream the entire time. I nursed him a couple of time and he slept through everything else.
When I was pregnant one of the first things I developed a strong aversion to was Polar seltzers, and it was the only aversion that lasted the entire pregnancy. I am finally back to my million seltzers a day habit, which probably isn't a good thing but there are worse vices.
Friends of ours stopped by earlier to meet the babies. Now L is asleep in my arms and G is snoozing in the bouncer.
MIL and SFIL are here currently. She keeps kissing my kid and I'm irrationally annoyed.
Random question. How long can I expect for my linea negra to stick around? I'm ready for that to disappear.

Last time my life linea negra took 9 months to fade I think. It did go completely away though when it was finally gone. It didn't show up this pregnancy until super late but it's really visible again so I'm assuming it will be around for a while again
I am hoping for a good night tonight. I keep her up a lot of the day. But I will go to bed when she goes down on a few hours. Sad how scared I am of night timeZ

LO has been sleeping all day. Probably not in for a peaceful night!
