When should I call the pedi about spit up? We just had an insane projectile vomit episode. It was out her nose and mouth and shot every where. She has been spitting up with almost every feeding but that scared me. Plus it started with her choking. Ugh parenting is hard.
My son used to have crazy projectile spit ups (we would stay on the hardwood for about an hour after each feeding because he would soak whatever area we were in). I've read if you have a c-section your kids are more likely to spit up. Maybe mention it at your next appointment? Try not to worry about it though, just keep lots of burp cloths on hand!
Thanks everyone! Just stinks because we don't see her much and I feel like I want when we do see her to be a good time. @agryleenigma yes she is definitely a award worthy! She takes medicine and said she didn't take it. Well why not if you know it's going to make you be this way when you never see us!? Anyway, it ended up working out that she left because DHs mom fell and broke her arm yesterday so we are getting her some things and bringing a frozen meal to her. Probably will stay there tonight and make sure she's alright. She helps us out so much so it will be nice to return the favor just wish is wasn't because her arm is broke!

I would mention it at the next appointment too unless it is a ways away then I would call. DD did this all the time and was very upset by it as well. She constantly arched her back and seemed to be in pain. She ended up being diagnosed with reflux and needed Zantac for a while but it helped a lot! I agree though try not to worry could be just a one time thing too.

I'm going to ring my husbands neck. I was giving DD a bath and he had DS. Instead of bringing him to me to nurse - he warmed up a bottle for him. He didn't ask.... I was in the house 10 feet away. And now I need to pump again tonight. He's being assy today.
DH tried to tell me today it was my turn to change the baby since he'd done three in a row while I was out grocery shopping... Nope. I nurse him for hours every day, do all the changes overnight, when DH is at work, and when he is home but busy with some video game or something. He can change a fourth diaper while I eat my damn lunch. Fortunately he quickly saw the error of his ways.

It could be reflux, I would call. Maybe meds will help her.

Thanks ladies. I am hoping it is just reflux and not an intolerance.
We're stuck in terrible traffic on the way home from fireworks with a whining toddler in the car and a baby. We will probably get home at midnight...what were we thinking?!? Thankfully, DS loved the fireworks, so it was worth it..although I may be regretting it later!

Sorry about the traffic. We ran into some traffic on the way home too. My DS loved the fireworks also. They're at such a great age to appreciate fireworks. It was worth it because he had a great time, but he is cranky this morning from being up so late!

babyzebra and txmommy14 - we had the same experience this year. DD loved the fireworks but the entire next 24 hours were brutal because she was so worn out. Oi, kids.

DS has been cranky too! I'm still glad that we took him and think it was a great memory though!
