I am currently nursing a monster headache/hangover. We drank so so much last night for my SIL's bday. First we did a wine tasting, then more wine in our room and some key lime pie shots. Then we had a set menu dinner, with 4 different paired drinks, gin, tequila, rum, vodka, then back to the room where I took 2 rum shots, then dancing and I had two other vodka drinks...needless to say I got sick when I tried to pass out later.

I'm laying in this hotel room, going to pass out and there is something clinking, like an air vent, just started. OMG I can't sleep now! Ugh. I miss N so so much, can't wait to see him tomorrow. Safe travels N40Mom at least share some pics of not you, but the castle or something!

So today, we went by the pool, it's like a huge pool party, kind of like Vegas for those who have been. They also had Paul Oakenfold as the DJ. Please tell me you know who he is, my SIL did not...

designaddiction - I love key lime pie shots/martinis! But that's list of drinks? Holy liver. Also, I love Paul Okenfold - Starry Eyed Surprise was our entrance song at our wedding reception!
I slept 8 hours last night. I took a nap today. Sweet baby L was a saint, and we had my in-laws here for reinforcements/extra hands.
N40Mom - how's it going??? Are you ready to flash mob?

So, our big big party yesterday? There was only one incident with our swimming pool. And it involved our kid because neither of us had an eyeball on her. Ugh.
Luckily, she just stepped onto the first step, and a our cousin pulled her out immediately (she was fully clothed).
But even more luckily, even fully clothed, she was wearing her vest. That's our rule - if L's in the back yard, she has to have her vest on.

judyblume14 pools are fun but definitely scary. V had her puddle jumper on and was sitting on the paddling ledge (about 10 in deep) and fell over backwards and couldn't get up by herself. I had to grab her and she was very scared and had her head under water. It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. She needs the vest for the rest of the pool but it was actually a danger in the shallow end. I really need to get her in swim lessons!
I love you rule though. I'm constantly nervous if V is in the backyard at my inlaws house without a vest. Toddlers are so erratic.
