****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
We had two firsts this weekend (that I would have expected to come well before 10.5 months). Ellis vomited in our bed for the first time yesterday (she's spit up in there before but that's different) and she pooped through her diaper in our bed this morning. I had just finished feeding her and she was sitting in the bed in a long sleeve onesie and her overnight diaper (I'd already taken the sleep sack off but she was so demandy for food that I hadn't changed her diaper yet). She held up her little fist proudly like she does when she wants to show what crumb she's managed to find on the floor. I took her hand to take whatever crumb away from her only to realize that it was full of poop which she was also sitting in. Thankfully my partner thought to take her immediately to the bathtub to change. Otherwise with her ninja moves the change table would have been a disaster. We have finally discovered at 10 months why parents need lots of sheets even if they don't co-sleep.

We stayed up late drinking proseco and having a little date night. I'm dragging a little today. But I should get a nap when the girls go down this afternoon, since I've been up with M every morning before 6:00 while Glen sleeps in until 7:00.
No plans today, picnic at a park just the 4 of us and keeping things low key. Also, trying to explain Independence Day to my 3 year old - my love of history and the constitution isn't getting through just yet!
H is going out for a bachelor party this morning/afternoon. It's a breakfast, disc golf, lunch, private showing of a movie type thing. It should be fun. It's also the tamest bachelor party I've ever heard of. When he gets home this afternoon we're heading to my school to pick up 2 huge bags of maternity clothes my friend left me from her last pregnancy. I'm excited to try them on! She's super cute and has great style.
Z slept great last night, but was up at 5 today. After I fed him, H got up with him so I could sleep longer. He even got him down for his first nap. He only slept for an hour, but I think that would have happened anyways. I'm nursing him now and he seems like he's ready to sleep more.
Also he has been beating up my boobs so much this weekend. I think my supply must be down since my period is due any day now. Just been doing lots of nursing sessions this weekend.
Backyard neighbors had the loudest fireworks from 930-12, and it was 1230 until A went back to sleep. You'd think she would sleep in. Nope. Up at 6, but she was a beast. Also, apparently the fact it was my turn to sleep in meant boo to H. This will be a fun day.
healz413, Yikes! We've escaped that fun so far, though DD has left a butt print on the nursery wall before.
It's also SO'S birthday today but he works until 7:30 pm. We celebrated him during the weekend.
A woke up several times crying last night. I gave him Tylenol at some point. Little guy is cutting 4 teeth at once. We get so used to STTN that I felt terrible this morning.
He had a poop explosion when I got him this morning. Fun way to start the day for sure. Time to size up in diapers.
We're gonna take it easy today after a full weekend. A long walk, pool time and making wannabe Chipotle bowls for dinner (SO'S favourite)
My toddler is driving me nuts. He has suddenly started coming in our bed at night.. I can't sleep because he either has to be on top of me or he takes up the whole bed. I was up half the night dealing with him. Hannah was also up twice. This morning he is being awful telling me no, hitting at me, kicking. I just can't today. SO is working so it's just me all day. I want to do fun things for the holiday but don't want to reward his bad behavior. Usually he is good but parenting sucks sometimes.

I have already narrated a federal election and cabinet appointments to A in her short little life. IT IS NEVER TOO EARLY!
Dani woke up in a mood today. I'm assuming that her mouth hurts, so after some Tylenol and cold watermelon she seems to have cheered up a bit. We really have no plans for today. Usually we have big plans for the 4th, but it's just us this year. We'll probably go up to see the new house after morning nap, and maybe take a trip to the pool later on.

We start swimming lessons this evening with Layla!! I signed up for a 5:20 class so that MH could be there, but I'm worried it will interfere with bed time routines!

We had dinner at a friend's last night to say goodbye before we move. It was really fun and Eloise was amazing. We got home an hour past her bedtime and she went down ok after sleeping on the car ride home. She woke up like 5 times last night though. Ugh. I think we officially are in a regression because we've had frequent night wakings for over a week. I'm just glad I can ignore most of them now.

We did swim class at 5 and it was perfect. I changed him directly in his pj's at at the pool and we skipped bath on those nights
Cal only woke once last night due to fireworks, and it was before we went to bed so not too bad. One of the dogs peed in the house though so it wasn't a total win.
cocopuff, we stayed up late drinking prosecco too! We grilled pizzas on the bbq and it was pretty much the best ever.
Today we're continuing projects. We've been so productive even with a baby, I'm pretty proud of us. Pictures to come!
MH and I stayed up late watching Jessica Jones. It's sooo good!3 episodes left. I'm dying to finish the series, but I think we have wine lectures to watch tonight.
Also, my parents leave for Gerrmany/Portugal on Tuesday and that means 10 days until we leave for Portugal! Eeeeeeee! Went to Carter's yesterday because the boys needed more shorts. The big is too skinny for his 2T shorts so I got a bunch with drawstrings and Sam is too fat for his brother's 12 month shorts from last summer. Also tried to find shows for Sam and have learned he has little Frodo feet. Short and fat and wide. He is only a 3.5 in length but needs a wide shoe to accommodate his chunky foot.
Carter's shorts are pretty much the only brand that makes a functional drawstring for little kids. I'm so glad they do cause DS has no butt and a tiny waist. He needs 3T for length but they fall off otherwise. OshGosh shoes are naturally wide and New Blanace has the best selection of tennis shoes in wide in my opinion. DS has a wide foot and it was always tiny. His first pair of shoes at 16M was a 3W in NB!
It's our anniversary and we forgot until this morning. Oops. We're flying home tonight anyway so we'll celebrate later in the week at home.
First 4 days in CA were great - then it went downhill. Thumbs down to the Aquarium of the Pacific. And then a whole bunch of stuff that is directly related to my family being lame. Whatevs. Southwest is doing free alcohol on the plane and you better bet well each get one on both flights (we have a layover).
