First appointment plans/results: I've already vented about my low numbers from Thursday. I go back tomorrow for another draw and will get results Wednesday.
How ya feeling: (Symptoms, cravings, rants, raves, baby names, interesting articles, good buys, other advice) nervous. I've been spiraling on Google hoping late implantation could account for my low numbers. I'm nauseas and have typical slight cramping which makes me feel optimistic - until I remember my progesterone suppositories could just be giving me side effects. Time will tell.
Any U/S, bump pics: no.
Bonus GTKY: Whats your favorite thing about summer? Normally, the cocktails and beer! But otherwise our annual trip to OBX
First appointment plans/results: first appt. this Thursday
How ya feeling: (Symptoms, cravings, rants, raves, baby names, interesting articles, good buys, other advice): feeling slightly nauseous all day, and so.much.bloat.
Any U/S, bump pics: nada
Bonus GTKY: Whats your favorite thing about summer? I second what ugaqueencity, said about having the husband grill and less cooking for me! I also love spending it home with my little girl (I'm a teacher) for a few months
ugaqueencity and nobb14 fx for doubling numbers and for good appts this week! I will be thinking of you both.
EDD: March 8 2017
How many weeks today: 4w 5d
First appointment plans/results: Beta #1 222 (14dpo) Beta #2 612 (16dpo). I got beta #3 today and I should get the results this week. First U/S booked with RE July 19.
How ya feeling: sore boobs, dragon fired nipples, all day nausea - I don't have an appetite because of it but trying to force at least fruits and veggies in. My anxiety has also increased alot so I'm trying to curb that somehow.
Any U/S, bump pics: Ummm no, just a fat belly right now. Is there suppose to be a bump in 1st tri? I'm nervous about showing at work.
Bonus GTKY: Whats your favorite thing about summer? The sun and heat. I'm in Canada so sun only comes in the summer.

EDD: March 7th
How many weeks today: 5 weeks
First appointment plans/results: I actually have a non pregnancy appt on Friday w the dentist. Ugh I hate dentists. I had a tooth infection 2 weeks ago that is all better now but they referred me to find out why it happened... I'm really crossing my fingers they just tell me to floss/brush more and no major thing needed. Other than that the wait for first US is August 1st.
How ya feeling?: Feeling ok, still w the round ligament pain, which makes me want to just order the modbod fitsplint thing now. But not too bad on nausea just have to eat every 2 hours it seems to keep it at bay. Rant; coffee is a no go now, I'm not sure if it the creamer or coffee that makes me feel crappy, gonna try just my lactaid milk and honey tomorrow. Shit that was long.
Any U/S, bump pics: bloat all the way...
Bonus GTKY: Whats your favorite thing about summer? All the outdoors stuff! Swimming at the pool too.
First appointment plans/results: August 1st - I realized I don't actually know what we're doing that day...hopefully not just intake but I guess I'll see.
How ya feeling: (Symptoms, cravings, rants, raves, baby names, interesting articles, good buys, other advice) I feel kind of awful today. The nausea was manageable this weekend - it came and went but mostly seemed to be motion sickness/empty stomach as causes with a couple aversions. But this morning it's been constant, mostly caused by gross smells (omg how did I never notice how bad our work kitchen smells?!).
Any U/S, bump pics: Nope
Bonus GTKY: Whats your favorite thing about summer? Laying out by the pool/lake and day drinking
How ya feeling: My tailbone hurts and I'm a little crampy still. I almost puked on the flight home, I never get motion sickness and I haven't had any morning sickness. And my boobs hurt.
Any U/S, bump pics: nope Bonus GTKY: Whats your favorite thing about summer? August, when things slow down and we can go on vacation.
I'm also trying to remember if I'm supposed to go in before 8 weeks to have my thyroid tested or not. I might call my doctors office today and ask.
So sorry to hear about your pup renegadewhit, Hugs
mikaela20, That is EXACTLY how I feel! Like I'm impersonating a pregnant woman. I can't shake it either, it's weird.
@quintstar I have hashimoto's and had my TSH tested after my first beta. It should be under 2 for pregnancy. The thyroid specialist started me on two extra pills a week (I'm on the lowest dose) when I called in my bfp. I think you should check it now and not wait. Your doctor will probably ask you to check it when you call today. Good luck!
moutonrouge Be prepared for just an intake appointment. I would call if you need to mentally be prepared. My previous ob would not attempt to hear the heartbeat with a doppler until 10-12 weeks. And I was never offered an early ultrasound.
So basically my first appointments were going in, peeing in a cup, having a blood draw or getting a script for one, telling them when my last period was, going over family history, then them offering me samples and a script for fancy prenatal vitamins, and a goody bag with bunches of info pamphlets.
That's good to know - thanks for that! I haven't been to this group before, so I imagine there is plenty of paperwork and lots to talk about. I'll prepare myself for peeing in a cup and talking about dos and don'ts and maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Ok, I will call in here when they open, and hopefully I can do a blood draw at the local hospital today if need be. I thought about it this Saturday and have been worrying slightly this whole weekend. I don't have an endocrinologist, is a OB or GP enough to monitor Hypothyroidism in a pregnacy?

Dont worry, just call to get the ball rolling on it. I was sent to an Endocrinologist by my RE when they discovered my hypo and other numbers. The Endo was the one who diagnosed me with Hashimoto's. I would ask about getting an Endo and see what they say. As long as the OB is monitoring your TSH, I think it's ok? I'm not too sure on that though.

Ok, thank you! I'll ask and see what the best thing to do is.
mikaela20, I don't know if I am just dense or what, but I didn't realize you were here (did I?). I am SO excited for you!!
EDD: 3/3/17
How many weeks today: 5w4d
First appointment plans/results: betas again today. I am REALLY nervous and scared this will be the end for us.
How ya feeling: (Symptoms, cravings, rants, raves, baby names, interesting articles, good buys, other advice) Boobs are SO sensitive. Like carrying around bags of rocks. Otherwise feel totally normal. Bleeding is tapering off.
Any U/S, bump pics: if betas come back good, we will take a pic for a baseline tonight.
Bonus GTKY: Whats your favorite thing about summer? Reading by the pool, never being cold, hammocks!
How many weeks today: 4-5 weeks baaed on clearblue saying 2-3 weeks.
First appointment plans/results: July 13
How ya feeling: (Symptoms, cravings, rants, raves, baby names, interesting articles, good buys, other advice) Nauseated all the time. Seltzer is a godsend. I wish I had cravings. Food aversions are so strong.
Any U/S, bump pics: nope
Bonus GTKY: Whats your favorite thing about summer? Getting DH closer to his goal of seeing a game in all 30 Major League Baseball stadiums. We are halfway done and will be adding two more later this month. Otherwise, summer is my least favorite. I hate the heat.

EDD: March 5
How many weeks today? 5+2
First appointment plans/results: I had an ultrasound at the RE today. There was a gestational sac and yolk sac, which my RE said was the best they would expect at this point. He is doing ultrasounds weekly for now to help with PGal brain and said not to worry if that's all we saw next week as long as there is interval growth. I really am hoping to see a heartbeat though
How ya feeling: (Symptoms, cravings, rants, raves, baby names, interesting articles, good buys, other advice): i have very mild symptoms that are on and off. The bloat is awful though.
Any U/S, bump pics: there isn't much worth posting from the ultrasound.
Bonus GTKY: Whats your favorite thing about summer? barbeques
EDD: 02/28/17 How many weeks today: 6 weeks! First appointment plans/results: first appointment is on the 22nd! So close and yet so far! How ya feeling: (Symptoms, cravings, rants, raves, baby names, interesting articles, good buys, other advice): I AM FEELING LIKE CRAP Any U/S, bump pics: nothing special Bonus GTKY: Whats your favorite thing about summer? NOT HAVING SCHOOL!! Because I work in a school lol
What??? What are they leaking??? You're blowing my first time mom mind. I should really start reading those books
Milk. I confirmed by squeezing... I was just going through some of my DS's baby stuff and organizing his closet and I thought it was under boob sweat... Nope lol
So I got blood work done yesterday. My hcg was 2,194 and my progesterone was 24.something. They're not going to do a second draw, but my first ultrasound is scheduled for 7/20 with the RE.
nobb14 , I have my fingers crossed you get good results from your draw yesterday!
Thanks!!! i STILL have not heard back from them with the results, grrrr. i've called once and left a message on their web portal, so i hope i hear back soon. :-\
this is especially frustrating because i'm passing brown clots. not many, but ugh. my optimism is... basically non existent.
