What does j17 think about acupuncture for nauseous and vomiting? My dr. Recommended and I am not sure how I feel about it.
Late to this...but I tried acupuncture about 4 times for stress relief/anxiety. The last time I went I was very nauseated and she tried different points for the nausea but I didn't really see any change. Maybe if I had gone a few more times I would have seen improvement, but it was expensive.
Had our checkup yesterday at 12w exactly. Couldn't find a heartbeat on doppler so I got moved to another room for an ultrasound. Baby was just chilling there doing his or her thing. HB of 172.
Harmony results came back today as well. They were all low risk. Yay! I caved and got a gender reveal cake from a bakery to cut into with our parents on Saturday. I so want to pull up my patient chart, though, because I'm sure it's in there (and I'm not patient).

osumegs, that's so exciting! Gah, it would be sooo hard for me not to check my chart! But it will be so worth it when you cut into (and devour) that cake!
osumegs keep us posted after your reveal. We got our results back on Tuesday, tomorrow we are having close family over for dinner and to open this box of balloons. I can hardly wait, esp to see how DD reacts, squeeeee!!
vlagroupie, so exciting! Love the idea of balloons in a box. Who made it for you?
I just bought the box and took it to party city. Left them the envelope and they filled balloons and sealed up the box. They have a whole section of gender reveal decorations. So I bought some of the decorations and just used that to decorate the box. There are all kinds of crafty ideas on Pinterest and etsy. I just didn't want to spend a lot of money and time on it.
vlagroupie, I made a box like that for my sister! IT was so exciting being the only one who knew she was having a little girl. I wouldn't even tell my husband!
osumegs, don't you DARE peak at your chart! The cake will be sweeter with the surprise!
