We are currently still driving. Both kids are doing great. We will need to stop one more time to nurse. But we have successfully had our first vacation!
DH has been complaining about a sore back all day, particularly when I hand over the baby for a new diaper. Except a coworker just convinced him to download the Pokemon go thing, and he just took a quick jaunt down the block to catch one... I told him no more bitching about diaper changes. I'm kind of tempted to download it myself, my Facebook feed is obsessed.

I kind of want to download it too! It sounds fun. Oh and men always have selective ailments.

We're not quite out of newborn clothes yet but I do think it's time to size up in diapers and I'm oddly sad about it.
Re Pokemon go: DH texted me this morning in true old man fashion complaining about "all these kids playing Pokemon go and getting in the way" haha he's currently building a tunnel on a college campus.
TMI: My hemmroids from birth are, if anything, more painful than they were a month ago. So frustrating! I still take colace every day, not sure what else to do.

Ugh. I literally just put colace on tomorrow's grocery list. I thought I was done with it 4 weeks PP but I. Am. Not.
I'm ready for Tuesday. I only slept from about 1-2:40 last night, my baby was screaming like a velociraptor all night and wouldn't eat. Then we found red spots in his diaper at 6am and went to the ER thinking it was blood. It turned out to be crystals due to dehydration & so now we need to start supplementing. Then we had DS's first pedi appt and an appt with a LC. His weight is down 13% in just over 3 days, and my breasts are so engorged he can't eat from them right now so we're getting a hospital grade pump delivered this afternoon.
The bright side is the baby is alive (I was like, really really worried about him on the car ride to the ER) and so much happier now that he's had a few oz of food.
My pp TMI for the day: packed my son's first diaper bag today. Since I didn't know how long we'd be out I had to pack a few diapers for me in there too. And we both ended up needing them!

I'm three weeks pp tomorrow and am still taking it daily. I'm too scared to stop.

The weekend rsndoms thread reminded me of something my first BMB did that I thought I'd suggest here. We had a running thread for trading/giving away formula samples and coupons/checks. It does mean pm-ing your address to someone else to get them mailed but as someone who had to supplement all the time it saved me a ton of money. And since breastfeeding is going fairly well I would love to pay it forward. I can start a thread here or on the private side if there is an interest. Or if there isn't, but someone wants the ones I have just let me know and pm me your address! I have 4 enfamil $5 "checks" and 5 for similac. I think I have samples too.

Glad he is doing better!! We lost about 12% after birth but got back on track by 3 weeks. Hope the pump helps!
mladerri if it wasn't for my sis I wouldn't have heard about it either! Apparently it is going to be a story on the nightly news tonight so it's super popular! Also I was super sad for the newborn clothes to go too. Hugs!
We have almost outgrown 3 month clothes at 4 weeks. We never even fit in nb. One of the first things I heard in the operating room was "she's gonna need a size 1 diaper". At least I don't need to lift weights to get in shape.
DH wants an Xbox one, so I'm going to see how good the deal is if I happen to be awake at 3am. There is also a $30 off code for purchases over $150, visa30. I also kind of want one of those Amazon Echo devices, if they go on sale at some point.

DS only just left newborn diapers at over a month old. The size 1 is still a little big so he is really between sizes. At 10lb, 2oz he isn't super tiny, just the way he is shaped I guess? I really need to go through his clothes and start storing things that are too small. I'm spending way too much time sifting through piles of clothing to find something that fits.

We just got an Echo a couple weeks ago. We have it in our kitchen and really love being able to tell it what kind of music to play.
I did not like prime day last year. Everything was so random. I most likely will browse when in awake in the motn but not sure if ill actually buy anything.

DS just hit 10 pounds today (after eating) at a day shy of three weeks and we have probably 30-40 newborn diapers left. So far they're still working so I hope we can use them all!
