JustJudy, I love Ninja Warrior. What day is it on? I'm sucked into the RHOOC lately. No, I'm not embarrassed in the least that I watch it. hehehe
I think they moved it around but it's Monday's at 8 now. I record RHOC so I can fast forward through annoying bravo commercials. I feel like I have to watch it since I'm from here and live here again. You'll get no shame from me

1. I haven't bought anything on Amazon yet. We want to buy a keyless deadbolt for our house and I thought today might be the day. But it was discounted $.06. Gee thanks, Amazon.
2. Many of my friends have been getting the Instant Pot. I am not sure that is the answer to our dinner woes.
3. Pokemon Go has taken over our house. L and the kids went for a long walk last night hunting for Pokemon. It is a ingenious way to get kids moving.
4. Today is our 16y anniversary. We are going to go to dinner with the kids after swim team practice.
5. I did a task this afternoon that's been hanging over my head for a week. It feels good to have it done.
6. L's parents come this weekend. And of course L has to leave for a work trip early Sunday afternoon. Which means I am entertaining them all day Sunday afternoon/evening. yay.
7. Just got an e-mail that G has a swim meet both Saturday AND Sunday this week. Both days he needs to be at the pool at 7am.
8. I miss going to our friends pool and hanging out. Last summer we were there every.single.weekend. This year we haven't been at all. We have all been so busy with family being in town/swim/traveling.
9. I've has this open for hours and now I need to head home to get ready for swim practice!

1. karlamo, people awake at 5:30am buy TV's at 5:30am. #mombies 2. Is it weird that I kind of like pumping in the middle of the night? I got 120mL/4oz at 4:50am!! That feels like an accomplishment. 3. Now I just need to get the kiddo to drink it all from the source. 4. Heat/humidity warnings here... maybe we'll drive to a different mall this time, ugh. I'm saving my pennies for central air. 5. Is has been sleeping a lot this morning. I'm nervous her tie will re-attach if I don't get into her mouth and do some exercises... who am I kidding, the kiddo needs her sleep, I should be sleeping with her but I have a hard time during the day. 6. Taking book recommendations. I used to be an avid reader, a book a week before Is was born... not so much anymore. I've been trying to use down time to read, dishes can wait. 7. Still planning the afternoon's escape. It seems once I set my mind on us leaving the house we get into a diaper/feeding routine and it's another 3 hours before I'm out the door.

karlamo, Have you been to Canyon Ranch in the Berkshires? Extravagant but so nice. I've been a couple times and have enjoyed. Really relaxing. And the food is delicious. As far as running clothes, I'm fairly simple. Lulu running bras and either Lulu or Athleta running tops and long sleeve shirts in cooler weather (I think I like the Chi tanks from Athleta, don't remember my fav Lulu style). I used to wear tops with built in bras but now my boobs are too big. I still like my Nike running shorts (other brands give we wedgies) and Nike Free running shoes for shorter distances. My favorite capris are Athleta Relay Capri. I want to try something from Oiselle and Bombas running socks. But for now, I wear either Smart Wool or simple Puma socks CET got me for Christmas. When I was training for my marathon before M, I wore a bunch of Pro Compression socks. Oh, and I'm looking for a new running hat. Mine is SO gross but I wear it anyways. Look forward to hearing what you and kona like!
@justjudy, we really have picked up activity. I can't keep up.
2brides, I haven't tried Pokemon Go but people seem so into it. Ran into someone on a walk yesterday who has walked 16.6 miles playing it.

8. 1-7 was written early this afternoon. We made it out of the heat, I breastfed in a mall food court - which was confident and bold of me considering Is doesn't latch/bf for very long so there was lots of exposed nip going on. 9. Those who got tongue-tie released, any help with these exercises? It seems cruel to me, giving her Tylenol, holding ice cubes before so my fingers will be cold/soothing, and lots of snuggles. It was done by laser if that makes a difference. 10. I want this heatwave to end. Now. Tomorrow we may spend 5+ hours at the library. At least I'll be practising my "out in the world with baby" skills.
11. I wish someone had told me about Prime Day weeks ago before we bought everything at Amazon... seriously, so. many. things. All full price.

JustJudy, Fiction with interesting characters. I tend to like books that switch narrators for that reason - characters are portrayed in-depth.
The story has to move along these days though - lots of picking up and putting down with the baby, so all page-turner recommendations welcome. Thanks! (c:

karlamo, I haven't bought new running stuff in a long time. I did get some socks for Christmas that I love asics low cut cushion. They have a lot of cushion but are soft and breathable, great for summer in my opinion. I literally have 2 drawers full of running/tri gear and since having O haven't felt justified in splurging on myself. I have a lot of Nike and Asics shorts though, true running shorts. Most of the tech tops I wear now are old race shirts.

Lulu is a treat. I tend to wear my workout clothes quite a bit. I've tried tops for Marshalls but never like how they fit when I'm exercising. They tend to ride up.

New shoes? You can never have too many running shoes. I'm currently wearing Saucony Kinvara's. They are awesome but obviously shoes are very personal to each persons foot and gait pattern.
I love my Garmin. I have the 310XT which is really a triathlon watch. When I was training for Ironman's it was really a valuable tool. Now I'm just addicted to it and drool over all the new watches that have come out lately.

1. M loves a good dance party. Tonight my parents and I danced with her to Blister in the Sun. So many smiles and laughs all around.
2. I went on a hilly 5 mile run today and my legs are pretty sore/tired.
3. I'm debating taking M to the doctors tomorrow to be looked at before we fly back. I'm worried about her ears since she has a cold.
4. I'm pumping while I do this. It's so satisfying when you hear the milk spray out.
5. I can't believe our trip is almost over. It's gone so quickly. I feel like with being sick, we didn't get to everything I wanted to do.
CETs
6. I've been on conference calls the past 2 days that start at 9am Eastern.... hello 6am.
7. So excited for CAR and M to get home, I miss them!!
8. When I'm left alone I survive entirely off of frozen food that CAR leaves for me. I use like one plate and one spoon a day, and run the dishwasher like once a week.
9. Looking forward to taking the horse out when the workday ends.
10. Found out today my new favorite podcast is only going to be 7 episodes....and they're on 5. Noooooo!

Yeah, I've been involved in endurance sports since college. I hope once the kids are older I can get back into it. It takes a lot of time and energy.
mm
I did a sprint triathlon years ago with my wife. That's like entering a baby crawling race compared to an ironman. The race was god awful. I only trained in a pool and it was an open water ocean race. My sisters came to cheer us on and when they saw me emerge from the water they whispered to each other, " She's done for". Lol.
MW ended up in rg ER with severe dehydration. Took 4 bags of fluids to make her pee.
We suck at those races! I think it's best I stick to the road it trials.
cetcar, I want to get R riding horses. What age should we start? He's 2.5 now. He's obsessed with horses and we want to nurture his passion and see where it takes him. Any advice? I've only ride horses on vacation.....in Tahoe....after cocktails.

That's great! 2.5 is young for actual riding 'lessons' in the sense of learning to independently ride, in my opinion, but it's certainly not too young to enjoy getting him used to the idea and letting him continue to explore what horses are all about. If she seems to want to do it, we'll probably have M sitting on a pony pretty early. Up to maybe 3.5-4ish, I'd suggest looking for a place that does some basic leadline lessons/teaching basic horse and barn safety. Do you live in an area that might have facilities/lesson stables nearby?
When he gets older, maybe 5-6 and up, I'd look for a local Pony Club, or if there isn't one, a 4-H club. These organizations are great at helping families who want to get into the sport, and educate both the kids and the parents on what's needed.
Let me know if I can help in any way! I started real lessons at 5, and never stopped. It's a great sport for kids, because it can really teach respect, empathy (it's a 1000lb animal you have to communicate with patiently, or you'll get nowhere), responsibility, and good sportsmanship.

2. I think I'm up for a promotion at work. I'm not really sure. I work at such a weird place.
3. My sister and her wife arrive on Saturday and are staying for the week. I haven't seen them in a year. I will be really nice to spend some time together.
4. My dad's party is Saturday night. Then O's bday party is Sunday. Not to mention that I have to work on Saturday. It's going to be a busy weekend.
5. I'm putting baby items in the Amazon cart. Kids are not cheap.
6. Our printer died. It's only 2 years old. I googled it and apparently the issue I'm having is very common. It never worked great and the ink was insanely expensive. I also got rid of our old one that worked fine. I will be doing a lot of research before we purchase again.
7. I have so much to do to get ready for the party this weekend. I'm overwhelmed just thinking about it.
8. O has slept through the night about 75% of the time the past week. This is very exciting.
9. We finished OITNB last night. Wow. I read the book in the spring this year. It will be interesting to see where the story goes, in real life she was out of prison by now.
10. I got side tracked on amazon and found the new Garmin watch and was drooling...
