I can't believe that I'm about to complain / have negative feelings about this, but bare with me...
H slept through the night!! That's the first time that has happened. The previous night she only woke up once, at 11:30 p.m. I think because of teething pain, and then slept all the way through until 7am
So... I guess I feel kind of sad about not having our motn cuddle/ nursing session. And then I start to worry if my Supply will start to drop because I'm not nursing motn. This could be a fluke of course and I am appreciative of sleep (so very appreciative)...I don't know, I just have feels about it I guess

rachaeleigh fwiw E has slept thru the night a half dozen times. No issues with supply here!
Thanks for that! I guess I worry that she won't do it anymore, but then I won't have the ability to nurse her in the middle of the night. Crazy, I know. That's right, I did know that E had those two bottom teeth, just like H

DD2 slept much better last night, not perfect, but better. I don't know what was up her butt the other night but I'm glad it passed. She's still being psycho stalker level clingy today so I plan to gfto of this house today since that seems to distract her best. Wading pool at the park then the library probably. My shoulders just can't today. Every day is shoulder work out day here. Why couldn't her clingy-ness give me some sort of ab workout some how?
DD1 is not adjusting well to a big her bed. Ugh. But she keeps climbing out, so we have no choice. DD2 won't sleep for shit either. 😔
Sorry to hear that! I took a month to transition DS1 into his bed. I started by reading him his books on it, then suggesting it for nap, then for bed. In about 3 weeks he had from looking at it to sleeping in it. I got him to nap in it pretty quickly but it took a little longer at night. I would let him choose between the crib and bed and finally started choosing the bed. Which was great because I needed it for DS2 since he outgrew the bassinet.
He does get up on his own in the morning but runs into my room to make sure I'm up. I've seen a few people on parenting that have toddler clocks. I guess it's like an alarm but cuter and more kid friendly. Like you can't get up if the owl has his eyes closed.
I can't believe that I'm about to complain / have negative feelings about this, but bare with me...

You get no sympathies from me! STTN sounds so good right now. You know I mean this in only the friendliest, ball-busting way

C has been practicing his moaning/pouting/whining routine again all night last night. I am fried. I dont know what to do w this kid!
I mentioned it in the FB chat, then I dealt w a giant poop-splosion right as we were about to get out the door. It resulted in me having to change him and myself. Its a good thing he is so damn cute. How else could I put up w all this torture.
And that was a solidarity LT for you sunfrogger88.

@melimo mentioned the toddler clocks.
Does anybody here use these with success? I want to get DD1 a Gro-clock. I also think it will be helpful for DD2 to get into the habit early once they start sharing a room. They are like 60$ though. Good investment vs. waste of money?

DD used to sleep consistently through the night and my supply stayed the same, because I would pump in the morning to relieve the fullness. That is how my freezer stash grew

My old boss got one like that for his kids and it helped a lot!

Teeth grinding. Totally forgot about this. It is a sound I won't forget again. He's doing it with his top and bottom teeth. Maybe it helps distract him for his top lateral inscisors coming in?!?

rachaeleigh, when E was much younger, around 2mo old, she STTN pretty consistently (ah, memories) and I would still get up and pump around 12-12:30 to relieve the pressure so I wasn't totally dying by the time I got up for the day. Like ldubhawksfan, this is how I started to grow my freezer stash.
I tweaked a lower back muscle last night putting E in or taking her out of her crib. We lowered the mattress the whole way for safety and it is a cruel reminder both of my stature and short arms. I might as well be trying to put her on the ground. I don't know where my heating pad is.
I took her to the library for the first time today. We played in the kids area. A little boy tried to fish-hook her mouth (lol) and then E tried to knock over another little girl's stack of giant Legos (she hates all things tall and stacked). The other little girl was quite upset but I rescued her tower.

I just can't with this week anymore. DD2 is going back to her shitty napping. The first one is great and lately I'm lucky if she will sleep more than 30 minutes after that. Today was it maybe 10 minutes before she started freaking the eff out. I am so fried. It's also taking hours to actually get her into bed and staying asleep for more than an hour. I've had exactly 0 minutes to myself the last two days and I'm just feeling very on edge.
Toddler clocks: I use an Okay to Wake clock with E. It was $30. It has a picture of a sheep that is sleeping and awake. It lights up the asleep sheep when she should be sleeping and the awake sheep when it is ok to wake.
She was waking at 5 and 5:30. Now she sleeps until 7. It works like a charm!

So we just had to go shelter to for a tornado warning in our area. This is fine, tornadoes make me nervous but I don't freak out. The problem is that I work in a metal building and we have to go to a different more structurally sound building that is about a hundred and fifty yards away from our building. I was wearing white pants. Now I am wearing clear pants because they are completely soaked!!

My new sunglasses and the super cheap manual pump came today! Yay.
I had lunch with my bff and her almost 3yo DD. Then the girls played in our baby pool. It was awesome to catch up. She is truly one of those low maintenance friends and I love it. She lives in SC so she only comes up this way a couple times a year to visit her family.
E took a really, really late nap2 (at 345/4) so, I'll probably pay for it, but, that's okay. Once she's in bed I have to pack her DC bag for tomorrow (ahhhhhhhhh I am so nervous about sending her to the back up center!!!) . Hugs and hair pats pls!
