I got another baby shower invite yesterday. This time it's my SIL, I hardly ever see/talk to my brother, plus he is in prison for awhile this time. He kept getting out on bail, committing a crime, and getting caught. I'm sure she was in on it too. She also wants a diaper raffle and book instead of a card. Not going!

I guess we're getting papa johns for dinner. Only because I have a coupon. $8 for a large and breadsticks ain't bad.

The baby fought naps like it was his job today. He finally fell asleep.

We spent the morning in the pool. I love summer here. It's so oppressively hot, but the fact that I can just throw my kid in the pool 8 months out of the year makes it worth it.

No drinks tonight, but I have leftover cupcakes.

DS has been wearing underwear for 1.5 hours and is still dry.

DD lost her mind for awhile, but finally passed out in the rock and play. I'm giving it 10 minutes, but will use that time wisely, to pour wine and change my clothes.

My H just received an invite for a diaper party for a dad to be after I already went to the shower. A) who knows if your kid is going to have a sensitive ass and B) if you want diapers, register for them!

My solution for the diaper raffle was to make a cake with all the leftover ones in a too-small size from my DD. Sold.

Tldr; I feel your pain.

I just got home from the grocery store. DS1 is in the bath, h is unpacking groceries. I have a Redds strawberry ale waiting for me as soon as we're finished with bedtime. I have no idea what h and I are having for dinner. Maybe Oreos.
