Oh no @cesjay that's so sad! Was anything salvageable?!
It actually wasn't too terrible. The meat are somewhat separated from the other ingredients, so I just had to wipe off all the meat packets and put them in new ziploc bags. All of the packing materials were pretty gross, but I just threw those away. One of the ingredient boxes was damp in one corner, so we will have to be careful with washing those ingredients.
I emailed customer service and they already wrote back to say they will give me a credit for a free box of 3 meals! Very generous and nice of them. I'm impressed.

Hiii! Love late randoms! We had a long day of anniversary festivities and I'm so tired. Now enjoying a drink and Mr. Selfridge on Amazon Prime with a nice new candle. It smells SO GOOD.

rablissful I hope you can take a little time to do something special for yourself one of these days soon, you deserve it!!
I should check groupon for a massage deal. I need one. Badly.
Doooo itttt. You do need one. I need to book my first one from the gift Groupon H got me, it was $60 for 3 hour long massages -- something like that would be perfect for you!
Italian wine definitely became my favorite after our trip to Italy, which I was warned about by other friends who have been. I want to go back to Italy.
I have 2 bottles of wine that I brought back from my trip to Italy in May, and I haven't opened them yet because I know I'll be sad when they're gone. I wish I could have brought back a lot more!
We brought back two cases. I still can't tell if I'm proud or embarrassed of that.
We got our first HelloFresh box today! One of the meat packets had leaked all over the box. I complained to customer service, and I'm hoping they give me a credit or something.

I would be proud of that. One of my biggest regrets from my trip is not bringing back more wine....

France is so, so very sad. I'm struggling with all the hard things in the news to keep finding emotion for these things going on. I know that it doesn't practically make a difference, I just hate feeling like these tragedies happen "often" and are "common."

I am excited because after 4 years of marriage, I am finally getting a canvas print of my favorite of our wedding photos to hang up! Groupon had a greaaattt deal where it was 16 x 20 for just $10. The shipping was just $13. Not too bad!
Aww, my sister has three of those wobbly cats. Their brains are underdeveloped and it affects their motor skills.
Well now I feel bad. I had no idea there were cats with issues like that, poor babies, that's really sad
You don't have to feel bad! It isn't a very common disorder and with the right people to care for them they can live long and healthy lives. The oldest of my sister's wobbly cats is 10.
I'm honestly still reeling from the attack on Dallas last week which was really hard for me. It's so hard to not get completely depressed by what happened in France. I can't believe this is the world we live in.

Happy anniversary! What kinds of fun things did you do?

Is there a certain breed which are prone to it or just something that affects certain individual cats? I'm so curious now!

We went to the local beach on the river and got a little sun, had popsicles at a Mexican paleta shop, and drinks at a bar in an old mansion it was super fun and laid back!

It's called cerebellar hypoplasia. Kittens are born with it if the mother contracted feline distemper virus while pregnant. They can be affected with varying degrees of severity, with just tremors for mild cases to ones that can hardly walk or stand on their own. It seems cats are highly adaptable though and they learn to compensate for their disability.

I hope you like it! We loooooove HF (a couple times one of the ice packs has leaked....not as gross but still makes a mess). I'm glad their customer service was good...we had issues with delivery when we tried blue apron and they were not very impressive.
