I'm working today....DH is taking LO to go look at some places that build shops! He wants/needs to build a shop at the new house so they are going to get some price quotes... I have to work tomorrow too which I hate because then I miss out on my family time, but OT is going to be nice for the new house... if it is slow I will head out early though! I put LO down for a nap yesterday and when I checked the monitor about 5 minutes later I found him sitting on the changing table (connected to the crib) cleaning out the top drawer, so there were diapers, wipes, and q-tips all over the crib!!! (I will post a pic in a separate post) So I just took him to bed with me and we woke up just in time for hubby to get home... Post all the fun things you are doing this weekend!!!
Good morning! Omg babyw15, that is crazy! Adventurous LO! Tomorrow we leave for a trip to sesame place! Im more excited than Leo haha. He got a haircut this morning and looks like a bleach blonde little boy

Hello! No fun plans today. We were supposed to go to the park. But I have a headache. I started to declutter Leo's toys last weekend starting in the basement playroom. Today finished cleaning out the living room toy boxes. Some toys were trashed but mostly took about 2 bags of toys from here downstairs. Next I think is storing away all the baby toys in a bin since not needed til next year. I need more storage bins.
There's no food in the fridge or pantry. I asked dh to go buy some food & he fell asleep. I need my afternoon snacks!
I've been feeling really blah lately plus work is killing me on top of MS etc... Trying to pull it together but it's hard. I'm trying for a promotion to analyst in my current job plus I found out I'm moving on to round 2 for the interview process for the Madrid job transfer- which this time the interview is in French?? I minored in it so I think I can hack it but ughhh I'm so tireddd. Morning sickness hit me like a freight train and most of my time is spent trying to eat enough to ward it off. And napping any time I get a chance. Ok enough feeling sorry for myself Here is LO being extra cute this week:
Never enough purses
I was really proud of being able to make cute lunches MS or no MS. I still haven't told my family yet about #2... Need to make my first appointment soon! Then the secret will come out! I'm taking LO to a Music Together trial class tomorrow. I've heard good things about them, and LO loves singing songs. Interested to see how it goes. Miss all of you mamas. Hope your weekends are relaxing and full of coffee and/or excellent snacks.
bkmama0 we did a trial of music together but I did it (accidentally) on a super off day when my LO was ridiculously beastly and he has tons of energy so it didn't work well for us, but so many of my friends rave about them! Have fun! ourcrazynavylife we have the monkey version! And the lunchbox littlelion wake hubby up for snacks! kcrus she is ridiculously cute.

Watched my brother's baseball game this morning. Emily fell asleep in the car on the way home so she sadly didn't nap again until we were then driving to my parents' place later to go swimming. Henry started legit swimming on his own. jumping in unassisted and swimming to the stairs and everything! Such a proud momma. Emily was digging watching her big brother and kept clapping and saying, "he-ry he-ry he-ry". Thankfully not a lot of drama with her at bedtime. Not sure what the plan is for tomorrow. The recent rainstorms have made the weeds grow like crazy, so some gardening time would be good.

We celebrated LO's half birthday yesterday. I can't believe he's 18 months! DH took him to a splash pad while I went on a lunch date with my MIL. Mimosa was necessary, but it was an okay lunch. No big plans today either!
Good morning ladies! It's been a busy weekend so far. Lo turned 18 months yesterday and I'm 31 today. We had a bbq yesterday to celebrate my birthday and it was a lot of fun. It was crazy to think that between all our friends we have enough kiddos to warrant having a kid's table now! Lo's time as the youngest in the group is numbered. We have 4 friends that are expecting between September and January! Bubbles! 18 months old. He definitely prefers watermelon slices vs cut up pieces. Ready to tailgate.
babyw15 your lo is so adventurous! Lol sgio7485 have fun at Sesame Place! Let us know how it is. My lo adores Sesame Street so I bet he'd be all about it. kcrus that picture is adorable... and hilarious. littlelion hope your headache went away. Any fun plans today? ourcrazynavylife that backpack is cute! All our Prime Day stuff came too. Did you score anything else? bkmama0 good luck with all your job opportunities! Sorry to hear you're dealing with MS. shannjohnston that's awesome that your DS is swimming on his own! Fx Emily takes a good nap for you today. Has bedtime been better? laceysbryan happy 18 months to your lo!

No fun plans today. I have a few hrs of work to do. Plus we're trying to clean the house and do laundry. I'm still decluttering the toys! Just trying to organize up here...have yet to tackle organizing all the toys I moved downstairs. I need a place for leo's books. And we've started telling leo "if you're done playing with that toy, put it back where it belongs". He's doing well. I want to get this to organize. Prob too big for his room so it'll go in the basement playroom.
littlelion we have those trofast bins from Ikea and we really like them. Lo really enjoys dumping them out and standing in them, too. We just have the separate ones so we put 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs. I also have some big storage bins for stuffed animals and Legos. They're all pretty easy for him to help clean up too. The book storage struggle is real, too. I'm a firm believer that you can never have too many books, until I'm like "Shit, now I have to put all these books away." We have a basic bookshelf in lo's room, plus we made a reading corner with Ikea spice racks, and we took one of the bins out of the Ikea shelf to have books downstairs. I also have some bookends on lo's dresser and I rotate out his "nice" books (the ones with real pages I don't want ripped.) Lol

ashlantic you have plenty of spots for books! Leo's shelfs are purely decor and only hold maybe 6 books (+ a picture frame). I have a good sized bookshelf downstairs but I worry it'll be more of mess. It has the shelves that sit on the little hooks so I can see leo leaning on it and flipping the shelfs off.
Also, I took a glance at leo's mouth and I thought I saw a top tooth coming out behind a tooth already there. I'm going to ask my dentist to take a better look next weekend.
