To pass the time, what are you guys' thought on my names lists? What are your names lists? What did you consider before settling on your LO's name(s)?
Boys: Freddie, Henry, Isaac (not sold on this), Seth, Theodore - with my father's and grandfather's names as MN because my Dad's doesn't work with our surname. Girls: Ailbe (pronounced All-bay, it's Irish), Corinne, Elin, Hailey, Nell, Nerys, Noelle, Penelope, Tessa, Thea, Violet - MN undecided.
DD1 was going to be Helena right up to about a month before she was born. DD2 was possibly going to be Ellie or the name we chose. both were contenders until we chose the other and made Ellie the MN.
I second the Penelope love. I also adore noelle; it's so classic and sweet. Honestly I'm really picky with boy names. I suppose a little boy named Henry would be nice.
If Camille had been a boy (we were team green) she would have been Jonah Devereux so we have that name already. Girls name ideas are: Adalyn Autumn April Melanie Sierra Lucia
If we have a boy again, he'll be Thomas Edward (our father's names and what DD would have been named if she was a boy). If we have a girl, I'm sure we'll have a list like last time, though Margaret was our runner up and Margaret Rose has been really sounding lovely to me (Rose is a nickname for me from my father based on my "French" name in middle school French class).

I love April and Autumn (probably not together though)
Penelope is my absolute favourite but with our surname, I don't think H would go for it. Second favourite is a tie Nell and Noelle but not convinced by having a full set of 'N' kids.
I agree I couldn't do April AND Autumn. I probably favor April.
I love those N names! But I agree with the concern about all your kids being N. Could you use one of them as a MN?
So to throw a new wrench into our timing, we had our open enrollment meeting at work today. I've got 2 plans to choose from. One is the high deductible I've been on which worked for this last year because I knew I was going to meet it with having a baby. The other is an 80/20 POS plan which would make more sense for at least this next year because we won't be trying until a little later in the year at the soonest (probably), so I could save on that for a year and then go to the other next year, except that they're going to be pushing back open enrollment next year to October so whatever I choose now I'll be on an extra 4 months next year.
TL:DR have to decide if we're going to stick with our current insurance plan for this next year that's better if I'm having a baby, or do the cheaper one and push back trying until at least the end of the year and go back on the current plan later next year for having a baby.
I'm watching too! You can take or leave them for the most part, but watching her find out she lost her last baby and how they handled it. Ugh. It's so great they shared it with the world, though. ETA and I mean "ugh" in the how awful, I don't know how I would handle that, has to be one of the worst things in the world way. ETA 2 I could do without the "joshua I love you" while she's in labor in the car or the "thank you Jesus" as she's sitting on the toilet after delivering baby #2.

I like Freddie if it's a nickname. Plus, it reminds me of this. Not a huge fan of Seth, but I like everything else on your boys list. I love Irish names, so I'm a fan of Ailbe. I think the only one I don't really like on your girls list is Nell, but that's because all I can think of is that.
TheCoffeeNinja, fan of Violet here (my DD ) and I've been considering Elin, too. I'll throw this one out there for you, since it seems you like classic names - Nelson. It's my late grandfather's name, and I had a cousin scoop it up already so I can't use it. My damn cousins - lol
hurricanerek, we have potential MNs too so I don't know. It's only by weird coincidence that the DDs share initials and again weird coincidence that I like N names again for girls (plus MN would be another E for another family member, d'oh!).
rlb, Nelson is NMS but still a nice name. I'm trying to avoid intentional N names if possible because that'll be 3 Ns!
Oh, and not sure why it wasn't in my phone list but Meredith is a serious contender as well.
Yes, that makes sense. This is a reason I don't want Vincent for a boy (DH's choice).
@iheartmyshiba, lucanjo14, Thanks! Based on my last period I should be 8w2 days today. I feel pretty good. Occasional nausea if I'm hungry. Im tired, but DS doesn't sleep so thats a given.
All the boy names I like if we had another boy either sound terrible with our last name, or DH says he doesn't like them. Boy names I like: Lucas, Connor, Colin, Gavin, Benjamin Girl names: Madalyn (not sure how we'd spell it), Elizabeth, Emma,

I swear you're my internet soul mate. Greek food, non Duggar love, Meredith! I've always loved Meredith but I can't even consider it cause my stepdad's ex-wife is named Meredith. She's a mega bitchwad.
Edit- not that he would ever tell me what to name or not name my kid, but I'd like to be respectful of his feelings. Edit 2- Yay, u/s Lola!
For this boy, we have a few names on the table. Mostly biblical since all 5 boys in DH's family go with that theme. Charles is DH and his dad's MN and Kingston is his maternal grandfather's MN. And it's cool. Right now, Cyrus is at the top of the list, but hey, things could change AGAIN. We're very indecisive until we have the baby in hand it seems.
Judah Charles Moses Kingston Cyrus Charles/Kingston Zion Charles
Other girl names we have on tap in case there's a #3 are: my fave!!! -- Zinnia Frances (Frances is DH's grandma and mom's MN that they dropped to keep their maiden names as their new MNs.) Violet Ann (Ann is my mom and grandma's MN) Clementine Myra (Myra is DH's grandma's name and I think it's cute in a little fuddy duddy way)
jnnfrrose6, March 24th. Pre-pregnancy, I was used to my periods being late, but they had been around 30-32 days so far post-partum. My biological clock is faulty!

There are a few of those in our family and previously considered baby names!
I rarely heard Gavin until a lady from a group I was in called her baby Gavin and then there have been a couple since.
Dh picked Gavin for his son (after a character in Rescue Me) love it!

I wouldn't call the doctor yet. You're on CD 42, which is obviously on the longer side, but your still less than a year out from having a kid. Give it 2 more weeks and then call your doctor. Most want people to wait 60 days anyways before prescribing something.

Yeah, that's true. I'm just champing at the bit, so to speak! I like thing so orderly in my life. My period didn't get the memo that it's late and I know there's no baby in there, so we need to get this party started!
