I'm so done with this heat, I walk to work because I drop my son at daycare and by the time I get to work, I'm completely exhausted. I only have 5 weeks left and one of them will be a vacation one. We rented a cottage and I'm really looking forward it.
Morning. A little pissed at H. He got pretty sloppy last night. I told him he could go out last night (he doesn't work today because he's on four tens and this week is Tues-Fri.) Any who he didn't get home till 2am and he cooked something last night and didn't clean up a thing. I heard a loud BOOM around 3-4am. Didn't think anything of it and went back to sleep. Wake up at 6 for work and find him on the family room floor. (He had fallen out of the chair hence the boom.) He doesn't do this a lot but I'm a little miffed. I hope he has a hangover.
Plus it was pouring down rain this morning so DS and I got soaked dropping him off at the sitter's.
Hopefully he got that out of his system singingsea!
We're just waiting for the workers to finish up some stuff on the AC, then headed to the splash park with friends.
I have a massage tonight. It's okay to leave my underwear on if I want to, right? I'm a little worried she'll push in the wrong spot and I'll leak. Oh the joys of being pregnant

Ugh I can't imagine having to walk anywhere in this heat right now sodapop! I still do laps with my neighbor at night but only once it starts getting dark/cooling down!!
I'd be real annoyed too singingsea. Hope he cleans up his mess today at least!!
fem - I've done massages both ways. I've done pure relaxation couples massages with MH where you sit in a private hot tub for a bit first then get a massage so those were totally naked. But I've also done more therapeutic massage for my back and those ones I always left my underwear on. Bra off, but underwear on. It just made me more comfortable.
singingsea, I've been there. My H was all like "why are you so mean to me when I feel like crap". Yeah, it was my fault all of a sudden 🙄 This was before DS.

Yeah he was being a dick when I helped him off the floor and told him to go lay in bed.
I expect some ass kissing and dinner to be ready when I get home or I am going to be one grouchy mo-fo.
singingsea, drunk husbands are the most inconsiderate people. Even when mine thinks he's being considerate while drunk, he's really just being annoying.
All of you who have too much heat, feel free to come live with me. We haven't gotten over 75 in like two weeks. I bought this stupid pool pass thinking I'd use it like every day, but the weather's usually crappy unless I already have other plans.
I completely forgot the dogs had comprehensive exams this morning until my work calendar reminder went off 15 minutes before. I frantically called the vet to let them know I wouldn't make it... turns out the appointment is tomorrow. It turned out well in the end, because that gave me the chance to realize that I'd scheduled that appointment way too close to another one I have at 9am that I cannot be late for (the vet is a half hour away from my house), so I rescheduled it to Thursday when things aren't so hectic at work.
Now I'm sitting here eating my pretty-much-entirely-protein breakfast because GD has made it so any carbs (even fruit) in the morning sends my blood sugar through the roof. It's a good thing I'm not Vegan.
Enjoy your massage fem! Sorry about DH singingsea. I'd be soo annoyed.
Well we (read: DH) got the room painted and nursery furniture will be here on Wednesday. I am in full blown nest mode. I went to BRU yesterday and bought everything else off of our registry we weren't gifted with our 10% coupon and I'm currently doing LO's laundry so I can start prepping her clothes and putting things away. Then I need to tackle decorating the room.
STMs- Does anyone else have a fear about how their first kiddo will react once S16 gets here? Fear may be the wrong word. I just love my DS SOOOOO SOOOO much and I know I won't be able to give him as much attention as I do now. I'm so nervous about there not being enough of my time for both of them.

kerbear I'm so scared for DD. I feel awful, but I know, in the end she'll be fine and it'll be good for her... Even if it's rough for a little bit. I posted this on fb last night. Hit the nail on the head. Have a tissue handy: www.scarymommy.com/no-longer-be-my-only-child/
annapunkalunka,I appreciate the tissue warning. I am sitting here ugly crying. Thank goodness I WFH so no one is here to judge me but my dog. I needed this. Things will change but they won't all be bad changes. How old is your DD?
Update on my friend winenchocolate. She is doing well and is 17w along. They did an elective A/S and found out they're having a BOY! (Their first is a DD).

Is it Friday yet?
Sorry your not having a better morning. Hope your day goes by quickly and gets better.

That's great to hear she and baby are doing well!!!!
We finished everything we had left to prepare for the baby this weekend. I know we still have time, but I jut got this overwhelming feeling that I needed everything done, so we did it. Room is set up, car seat base is installed, hospital bag is packed. I also did some major cleaning and organizing in other parts of the house. I'm hoping everything stays organized so I don't have to redo it before the baby comes, but that's pretty unlikely.

Our weekend was long as usual. DH did manage to get the garden picked. And I got a good portion of the kitchen cleaned as well.as started on some blankets for my friend whos due next month. We ended up skipping the shower, since we didn't leave Jack's room until 4 I was so tired and we had too much to do at home.
Today just more cleaning and then im headed to the NICU early since I found I only have enough bottles for one more pumping. Oops should have asked for more yesterday. :/

Ugh that would really irritate me singingsea. Hopefully he'll get everything cleaned up today since he doesn't work today.
MH used to do some dumb stuff when drunk, and luckily I don't have to deal with that right now (he gives up alcohol with me while I'm pregnant. He won't have a drink until I do at some point after baby is born).
fem I left on my underwear when I would get massages last pregnancy (omg I miss those!).

Had a busy weekend. My friend had a birthday party 45 minutes away, so the drive was killing me (sciatica). Then we went to the beach yesterday, so that was an hour away and the drive was AWFUL on me. Last night as I'm trying to sleep I was in sooooo much pain. So glad I threw on this pain relieving balm I have because it helped relieve the pin enough for me to sleep. 7 more weeks.... please baby don't be late.
Today I plan on putting away tiny baby clothes, which means reorganizing DD's dresser because she'll have to share it with new baby. However I'm still not feeling too great, so we'll see. Maybe I'll use more balm.

Yes, very much so! Scared, nervous, all of the above. DS will be 22mos, so I don't think he gets it, even though we talk about baby brother. He's totally a mama's boy and I won't be available for him as much and I'm not sure how he'll react to that. He does great with DH, but when mom is an option he'd prefer that. I know in the long run it'll be good for him, but I'm nervous for the transition. Luckily DH will be home for 6 weeks and I'm thinking/hoping DS will be used to the new normal by then.

Seriously, it's the perfect article. DD turns 2 at the beginning of August.

singingsea that's pretty annoying. I have to admit that I LOL'ed when you said he fell on the floor though, sorry! Hope he's in ass-kissing mode when you get home!
fem enjoy your massage! Underwear on is totally fine.
The nursery looks great danielle! Can't wait to see more pics!
We had a very busy and exhausting weekend! We went up to my in-laws on Friday to celebrate what's most likely MIL's last bday. I was kinda nervous going into it bc SIL and her H (who I don't care for much) was in town but everyone got along and it turned out to be a great weekend. We took family pics on Saturday and even though it was at a late time DS did great. He got to bed super late that night but no big deal. Yesterday DH's extended family had a party for MIL and I was able to meet all his cousins. DS ran around like a wild man but he had fun. Overall it was a great weekend, although emotional at times. She was so happy that all her kids were there.
