Why are your ILs so invested in you making a pit stop? I just really can't fathom how it affects them in any way. Tell them you anticipate having to stop and take a dump because your bowels are a mess when you travel. These people should be really thankful I'm not their daughter in law.
Because they're driving so I guess that's why it's such a big deal to them. Next time we are going to the same place we will just drive ourselves lol
Why is this even a big deal for them?!? Does it matter what the reason is? It's their grandchild's comfort/ health and also probably no more than a 20 minute stop where they can get a coffee and go to the bathroom. Your little guy's comfort is definitely worth more than theirs and I am sure if he starts wailing they will stop without question.
However, if they don't, never expect them to travel well with a newly potty trained toddler! So sorry about their reluctance - he might sleep for the whole 3 hours or he might need to stop once or twice. Whenever DD wants to eat way before she should MH and I both just tell anyone around us "she's a baby, she wants what she wants."
..... And the AC went out... Let me remind you it has been in the 100s here. The fix is a $700 part plus labor. It's only 2 years old so I hope the manufacturer is not too nuts with the warranty, but we bought the house from the iwner who installed them so I have zero documentation.
dH has been gone so much taking his recert class and now he goes back to work in 3 days. Im exhausted already....

Oh no! Fx you can get the warranty to take care of the repair... And hopefully you can get the ac back ASAP!
We are in between sizes on the woombie. 0-3 is so tight, 3-6 months he can move his arms too much. He's in a swaddle up right now and it's the most awful thing ever. Wayyyy too much movement allowed and it's posing him off.

I thought this too the first night in the swaddle up but a week or so later I love the damn thing. She likes it, sleeps better and doesn't wake pissed off by not being able to move her arms. One are is constantly wet from her sucking on it.
Why the fuck does my LO think 3am is a great time to play and coo really loudly?! I will not be drawn in by the cuteness right now .... exhausted! She's been fed. Diaper is clean ....so go the fuck to sleep!
This has been my life for the last 2 nights. After almost a week of her sleeping 12-6 and MH bragging about "things getting better". Ugh.
Uterine fibroids (removed by robotic myomectomy 11/14) and past removal of L ovary/tube d/t ovarian torsion (4/99). New diagnosis of endometriosis (5/15)
OK I totally did get drawn in by the cuteness....cooing and smiling back even though I swore I wouldn't. If you can't beat em join em I guess. Really hope she passes out soon though.

He sleeps GREAT in the woombie where he can't move his arms. But 0-3 just seems too tight and the next size up lets him move them. I just gave up and did a manual escape proof swaddle and things are better.
