Completed a couple more nursery projects! Hobby Lobby finally had 50% off of the car signs so I was able to get the ones I wanted for my collage. I blurred out the license plate because it is my actual old one from my car lol *poof*

cookswithwine9, holy cow! I was fooled by that "tool chest". I saw it first and then scrolled to read as to why you thought that huge tool chest was a good idea for a nursery...lol. Great job!

Shits getting real in the twins room. MIL jumped on a great sale and ordered the cribs for us even tho it's still super early. It's crazy to think there will be two little babies sleeping in here in no time.
I scoured the earth to find two cribs that would fit on one wall. That was more difficult than I thought it would be. There's just enough room to open the door.
I was just thinking about this thread last night now that we have what is beginning to look like a room (not building site) that will become a nursery. I will post a picture later so you can see what we have ahead of us! And hopefully post updates As we make swift progress
ugaqueencity, what glider did you order? I made do with a swivel chair we had for DS,not realizing just how long is spend in it. This time I really want a comfortable glider or recliner for the nursery that we can use elsewhere in the house later. I've seen some I like but I'm not sure about the back height and being able to rest my head (I'm 5'8" and DH is 6'3"). Does anyone have any recs?
mustloveerica, make sure there isn't space for anything to slip between the cribs. There was a story floating around last year about a baby getting stuck when he climbed out of his crib in between the two

Once they start trying to climb between the two we will probably turn them perpendicular to the wall. But that is a good point!
Bumping this thread back up to the top for a minute because I finally have some pictures of the room to share! I'm still working on things, but major improvements have occurred in the last few days.
Still to do: Find a small table to replace the round one next to the glider, add grommets and blackout panels to the curtains, fill a couple of the picture frames, find a place for the felt ball garland, maybe add a shelf over the glider and organize the cube storage.
Meanwhile, my cat thinks we're decorating this room for her and frolics around in there constantly. That old lady is going to be surprised when she finds out it's not actually for her!
P.S. I know we shouldn't have pillows or toys in the crib, they are just tossed in there for now.
Also, the lighting just does not translate into photos well for some reason. The walls are light grey. Pictures probably look a little dark since it was rainy and gross yesterday!
I am now 100% done with the nursery! Here are my pictures.
ameliapond, hope this doesn't sound crazy, I was hoping to have an Alice myself. I bought a Paper Source Calendar of Alice in Wonderland to frame for the potential nursery, if you are interested it's yours, since we're team blue.
