peaseblossom55 I feel like pink would be an easy change on a digital file. I hope it works out! And yaaaay for sleep and a good Thursday.
heybulldog56 yes! That's sounds like a perfect set up. My dad got me hooked young. Growing up in the woods was pretty awesome, plus my seat at the kitchen table looked straight out the window to the bird feeders. I'm excited to have a little more bird diversity, the suburbs can be rough with all the sparrows.
Thanks it goes with the bedding I think we agreed on. How was vet heybulldog56?
Unfortunately not good. I didn't want to bring the thread down (again). We are saying goodbye this afternoon. We brought her home to spoil her with human food and love. We'll be going back to the vet at 5:20, right before they close. It will be more peaceful.
I am so sorry heybulldog56 We are here for you, please don't worry about bringing the thread down. Stop and get yourself ice cream and eat all the sad feelings. Ugh. That just sucks so much

Thanks ashtog. You better believe I am stopping at the chik fil a next to the vet to get a giant milkshake and fries. I really appreciate your kind words.

Hi, ladies! I went to the doctor this morning and thankfully I actually had a for real appointment scheduled, haha. It went fine. Baby sounds good, but my BP is still on the high end. They're going to have me monitor it at home and if it's high at my next appt I'll get a MFM referral booooooo.
heybulldog56 I'm so sorry you have to go through this. My family was in a similar situation when I was young. I remember the vet saying to not take the collar off because it's associated with negative things like baths and can stress them out. *hugs*

I am occupying myself by thinking about the nursery. Is it crazy to re-do it? I want to completely change the color scheme and theme... I don't want to just plop baby into a room we created for DS...
heybulldog56 not crazy! I think my nursery will be staying the same because my mil painted this gorgeous mural. I love the woodland adventure theme so I don't mind. I'll get my decorating fix by redoing the guest room for DS. Although I sadly realized last night that I should probably pick a neutral theme that he can grow into? Probably shouldn't go overboard with the cutesy forest animals again. Sighs.

That sounds so beautiful and cute lakegirl. DS room/ nursery is just painted plain old green but had a fun, multi-colored chevron rug for "fun". Aside from that and a bulletin board and bookshelves, the nursery is pretty plain and simple. I really wanna give it a makeover for new kid and I also plan on going crazy on DS's new big boy room.
I am really, really hoping that we move before the new baby comes. DH has been looking for jobs closer to our families (which live about 4.5 hours from where we are now) since spring and still no dice. Of course, he hasn't been super good at actually sending in resumes and whatnot so it's fairly unsurprising he hasn't had any bites yet. There's one job he just heard about that he's really, really excited about so hopefully he'll at least get an interview for that one.
All of that to say, I plan on redoing two rooms for DS and the new baby. DS's nursery is pretty kick-ass, if I do say so myself. It's gray on 3 walls and blue on one and is sci-fi themed. Star Wars, Firefly, Star Trek, Doctor Who, etc. I'll be hopefully carrying some of that over to his new room and doing something different for the new baby. If it's a girl, it'll be strong-female-characters themed. I'm not sure what we'll do for another boy yet.

FYI, now picturing gangs of suburban sparrows facing off a la West Side Story.
Accurate. I actually refer to them as my sparrow gang because there are so many of them and they rudely dominate the feeder.
heybulldog56, I'm very sorry to hear about your dog. Please be kind to yourself in the next few days. Also, I don't think its crazy at all to want to redo the nursery. New baby, new theme!
geekmama, Good luck to your H on his job search. Do you not like where you are now, or do you just want to be closer to family because of babies?
judyblume14, Have fun at the kiddie amusement park! I'm the same way about amusement parks. I love them and all the fun rides. No way would I want to go without someone to help with DD so I could have fun too (not pregnant of course).
ashtog, I'm glad to hear that you and L are doing better today!
peaseblossom55, I like that poster! I'm sure it would be no problem for them to switch the color. Do you speak French?
Not much going on around here. We went to Target and the grocery store this morning and I am proud to report I spent less than $40 at Target. Usually I walk out having spent a lot more. DD stayed awake in the car, but threw an epic temper tantrum when I wouldn't let her immediately eat the animal crackers I bought at the store, so she went down super quickly for a nap. Not much going on now. I'm watching Brooklyn for a little bit, then I'll probably take a nap and finish it tonight. I checked it out from the free library for a dollar. Apparently the free part doesn't extend to the dvds! Have a great day!

So I do conference calls at work about 3-4 a week, they last about half an hour. I do 95% of the talking, I find myself so incredibly winded, it's hard to breathe, and keep up. I try drinking water, talking more slowly. This is obviously new and I'm sure pregnancy related.
jrun2013, We've always planned to move back near them at some point. I like where we are - it's a good job for DH, we've made friends, and I LOVE our church, but now that we'll have two little ones it's time for us to move back. I love western PA (where I'm from) and it will always feel more like home than Ohio. Also, it's sooooo hard raising a kid without a village. Our church friends help some, but it's a small group and you hate to keep calling on the same people again and again. Honestly, I hate asking anyone for help ever, but grandparents offer it freely.

peaseblossom55, I hate to say it but it'll most likely only get worse. Your lungs will have less room as your stomach gets bigger, which makes it harder for you to breathe. I know at the end of my last pregnancy I would start sweating I would be so out of breath during presentations. It was awful. Hang in there!

heybulldog56 I'm so sorry about your dog be kind to yourself and don't worry about dragging us down. I also don't think re-doing the nursery is a silly idea but I never really decorated either room DS has used so my opinion is not worth much.
I'm having a brain fart about what else I just read in this thread, thanks preggo brain. Hope those leaving for vacation/weekend trips have a great time!

rinny hope your BP behaves! You can also ask them to take it at the end of your appointment, some people have 'white coat anxiety' and it falsely makes their BP go up if taken before the appointment. Last pregnancy mine was high once, they took it again at the end and it was fine.
