I have to tell my boss I'm WAH again on Friday. We're having someone come out to figure out the drainage problem in our side yard. We had water coming in the basement again on Wednesday so it's urgent. Usually she's understanding but we'll see.

This is how my week has gone at work:
Monday - Send out email to the building to tell people to not play Pokémon Go in unauthorized areas of the building (we have a lot of construction going on inside and outside with heavy machinery all over the place).
Tuesday - Send out an email reminding people (with pictures) what kinds of tennis shoes are appropriate for work.
Thursday - Send out an email reminding people to use the cup provided (and not their hands) to get ice from the bags of ice that we're temporarily providing while our ice machine is being replaced.
Everyone make a guess on whether I work with children or adults.
I was off work Monday and Tuesday while my parents were in town so have only worked one day so far. Why do short weeks feel the longest? Counting down the minutes until Friday at 5...

renegadewhit I missed that you're moving! Sounds like a big move. Hope it all goes well. It's a sellers' market where we live, so hopefully the same is true for you!
I'm so sorry Fearsy. Can you call them? Many good thoughts coming your way.
I could call them but I'm avoiding it because I'm so anxious. Dying for them to call me but I won't call them. Makes logical sense, huh?
My anxiety causes lots of irrational thinking so I totally get it. I was basically a giant ball of stress yesterday waiting for the call but almost didn't want to get it because I was anticipating bad news. I'm pissed for you that this is taking so long but hope you hear very soon and that it's very happy news. (((Hugs))) Hang in there.
A friend and her son are coming over to swim in my parents pool today. Heat index is supposed to reach 110 today. We may just be playing the AC with the kiddos but I'm looking forward to more girl talk!
I still have a cold. And DD woke up especially cranky today. She removed her straw from her blueberry-spinach smoothie (b/c she wouldn't use her regular cup lid, she needed a regular, adult straw, of course) and flung blue smoothie all over the kitchen and me.
Does anyone have any mocktail recipes that might be able to trick my brain into thinking it's a real drink? Because I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through today.
Good luck, Fearsy, hope you get a call soon! I'd be on the phone the second they opened, but I have zero patience.
It's hot as hell, and also my Friday (I came back only four days a week after maternity leave, so I have Friday's off with my kid). My mom has DS today, and is also having a dinner for my sister's birthday, so thinking I might leave work after my last meeting this afternoon for some well-deserved floating around their pool time.

Between early pregnancy bloat and the incredible amount of food I've eaten at our 4H fair, I'm already using the rubber band trick on my pants. None of them will button comfortably.
ladytiffany24 that is the shit I do not miss about working. It's so ridiculous.
This am we have family pictures, on the hottest day of the year so far with humidity near 100%. Should be fun right?!
I did pee on another CBE with weeks estimator and it jumped from 1-2 last Friday to 2-3 weeks today. I figured that should get me through until I hear from the doctor. I'm still bleeding and cramping so any little reassurance is helping.

Have no shame in your game... Completely acceptable!

Oh I could write the exact same thing. I haven't even called to make a first intake appt because I'm so anxious. I might do it today. I hope you get some good numbers!!

Funny little story about CBE with weeks estimator...I bought a pack yesterday and decided to pee on one this morning. I almost started crying when it said 1-2 weeks because I thought it was estimating how far along I was. I was like, noooo, I should be 4 weeks today....until I actually busted out the little pamphlet and it told me that it's estimating weeks after ovulation. Duh!

Lol. I think I did that too when I first took one two years ago. I panicked.

It's supposed to be 95º hete today... camp is not gonna be so fun. We didn't go yesterday because it was rainy, then hot. Ugh. Hopefully we can do some indoor activities this afternoon!
sarahh, whyyyy did you have to tell me that? I JUST told DH we have to do a spending freeze for the week. I already have 2 sweaters in my cart on Motherhood & am still browsing. Fortunately I handle the bills so DH will never know! (Disclaimer: DH would have no problem with my shopping and I actually handle all finances; I just feel bad I just told him not to spend money haha)
ladytiffany24, haha sorry! I just got a ton of stuff. I'm so bloated right now I think I could probably wear it now. I was pregnant mostly in warmer months last time (at least when I was at my biggest) so I needed a few colder weather items to layer. And I HAD to pick up an Ugg Maternity robe for $45.
