Soooo glad it's Friday! Considering taking a half day to do some errands before getting kids at daycare. Plans this weekend consist of lots of swimming because it is HOT! What are you ladies up to?
I'm still laying in bed listening to the triplets talk to each other and kick and roll around in their cribs. So cute! I'm still just soo tired even though I had a pretty good night only having to get up 2 times to fix Nolan's cannula. I swear I just can't sleep enough. But as for weekend plans I'm taking miss Gracie with me and leaving my other two with the hubby to go to a high end resale boutique thing and maybe the mall and run errands etc. it should be fun. Gracie loves to be in her beco carrier so it should go pretty smoothly.... Hopefully.

LO woke up at 5:15 this morning screaming like he was in pain. I couldn't figure out what was wrong - maybe teething pain? I brought him into bed to nurse and he was fussing a bit when he started nursing too. Then we fell asleep and didn't wake up until 8:20. Oops! Nanny showed up at 8:30.
My in-laws are coming today for a couple of days. They're going to watch the baby here and there so I can have a bit of a break - I'm getting a haircut tomorrow and getting dinner with friends. Should be fun!

My attempts to move DD2 to the crib are a complete failure. This is how my nights go.
And of course DD1 still comes to my bed in the middle of the night. I get about 8-12" of my California King bed. Not sure what I can do to get her into her crib.
sjames2015 so cute though! Also, if I put my baby in bed with me and let my toddler in too I'd fear for the baby's life lol. So at least your older one doesn't kick/squish/head butt the baby!
Took my DS for his 2 year check up this am and dropped him at school. This is my day with just the baby so I'm supposed to be cleaning and getting things done but of course she fell asleep in the car and I don't want to wake her so we are idling in my driveway. PP hair loss- you guys I'm losing clumps! It's so gross. Also, any brunette ladies here have tricks/tips for covering gray? I'm half tempted to get a few very thin/natural highlights put in but I'm supposed to be saving money and don't know if it'll be worth it.

When the toddler is in bed with us, my hands are wrapped around the baby to protect her from her sister. She wouldn't purposely hurt the baby but she loves her sister so much that she wants to be touching her all the time.

I was just coming here to post about pp hair loss!
I will be six months pp tomorrow and am just now losing a ton of hair as of this week. I totally thought I was in the clear since it started at 4 months pp last time. So gross. Yuck.

I'm wondering when the pp hair loss will end! Mine started about 4 months pp, and it's slowed down a bit but still going on. I'm not sure how I have any hair left.
lucanjo14, I have dark hair and I sometimes get balayage style highlights. Since they're on the under layer hey grow out really well, but I'm not sure if that would be too good for covering gray if the gray is on top. So far I've just had one or two gray hairs here and there and I'm still in the cutting them out phase.

I'm not losing in clumps but strands of my hair are all over the place. I'm constantly checking DD's fingers and toes too to make sure they don't get wrapped around them. It has happened before! I feel like the ppd hair loss took a long time for me last time to slow down and also never really fully stopped. Maybe it's just the nature of having long hair - it's more noticeable?
Also - would love rec's on covering gray. I really don't like the maintenance but man my gray is getting way more noticeable.
crimsonandclover - not sure how close/far you are from Munich but checking in to see if you are ok. Thoughts and prayers to all of you over there!!

sjames2015 - If my H was gone for long stretches of work, slept in another room, or didn't help with the girls at night I'm sure I'd be sleeping with the toddler and baby in my bed every night, too. As it is now, the baby is in bed with me the last half of the night, and my H usually ends up sleeping in dd1's room at some point as well.
We thought he might be going out of town working on a movie for a month, and that was a huge concern of mine - how am I going to get them both out of our bed when he gets back? I knew I'd be too tired to fight it while he was gone. Luckily he turned that job down so we don't have to worry about it at this point. Sleep stuff is hard.

We're far enough away from Munich that it's not worrying (personally, that is). So far they don't seem to know exactly what's going on - one perpetrator, more than one, what sort of background (terrorist, lone wolf), where is he / are they...
As for PP hair loss, mine seems to be over, thankfully. It was from 3m pp to 6m pp like with my other 2.
We get back from vacation Tuesday, Wednesday my FIL passes away, Thursday night my PawPaw passed away. I didn't sleep well last night from waking up crying and dealing with G's wake ups, so I'm like a zombie at work crying on and off.
My MawMaw and PawPaw were like a second set of parents to me, not just grandparents. MawMaw passed away about 10 years ago and now he's gone too. I don't want to be here, I want to be home by myself drinking wine in the closet.

newmomma8 - I'm so sorry. I know you've talked about your PawPaw on here often, and I could tell you loved him very much. Go home and take some time to yourself if you can. Big hugs.
My PP hair loss seems to be slowing down. I'm not losing clumps anymore, but I still lose strands left, right and centre.
My shoulders are killing me. I misread the map of the parade route, and we were in the wrong spot, so we moved when we realized, which of course was after the parade had started, so I couldn't find a spot near the front. S had to sit on my shoulders for awhile, and he's too heavy for that, plus I had M in the mai tai. Eventually another mom made room for him with her kids. Then we played in the city hall pool for a bit and then went to get food and head home. That was exhausting. Next time I'll plan ahead and have more hands. Yeesh/

I am so sorry newmomma8. My thoughts and prayers are with you. NellieOleson h is gone again for 2-4 weeks plus got offered more work at the end of next month. Hoping he gets 2 weeks home between jobs. DD1 starts in her own bed every night. But keeping her there isn't working. DD2 has started in my bed the last week because she screams till she's gagging if I try any other bed. I'm not sure what I can do to make the crib more likable. Thinking of putting one of her soft baby blankets under her sheet and have me sleep with the crib sheet to give it my smell. I know I'm going to do some CIO but just am too tired. Between the 6 month growth spurt and DD2 not wanting to sleep. PP hair loss.. It's slowing down but yes it's everywhere all the time. It's not clumps, it's strands. Strands everywhere. I am also checking fingers and toes because hair everywhere.
Someone at the parade today had their 1.5-2 year old pounding back a can of coke. And then was wondering why the kid was freaking out about being strapped into a stroller and just generally misbehaving. Maybe don't pump them full of caffeine? Morons
