I thought it'd be fun to hear what types of carriers people have and are using.
What are you using? What do you like/not like about it?
When E was first born a friend lent us a Moby wrap. I was a godsend and I used it all.the.time. After she got big enough for the Beco, I stopped using it.
Right now we mostly use the Beco Gemini. She loves it, I love it, DH even loves wearing it. I've only tried her on my back once. It went okay but I prefer to be able to see her so I always wear her on my front. (ours does not have a pocket like the one in the picture)
I just bought a ring sling and so far really like it. A friend had lent me hers for a long trip and it was great for the airport and quick stops. I bought a Sakura Bloom Theory bamboo/linen ring sling (used - I did not spend 160$ on it :-) My only issue with it is that the material is pretty thick so it's been tough tightening it once E is on. I think it'll get better once it's more worn in and I have more practice. This is the colour I have - it's so soft!
I also have a Kinderpack (the sugar skull one!) and am super excited to use it once E is a bit bigger. I bought the standard size and didn't realize that she would be too small for it for a while. I got one with cool knit material in the center so I'm hoping that'll help keep us a little cooler in the summer. The Beco is great but is thick so we get pretty sweaty.(This picture is from their website - not me/my kid)
